[X] Evac by car. It'll take awhile, but judging from the map, you might be able to find a safe route, or at least go though and get close enough to the city proper. Hopefully, the nearest buildings are still under Russian occupation and you won't make contact with enemy forces. If you do though, you can still fight, drive away or speech your way through, if they bother to stop your car.

Eh, I'll take an uncoordinated rabble of Nazi's and no intel over a coordinated response and perfectly preserved intel. More likely John comes back to the girls in England, and makes
If we seriously get the girls to repeat that, things will be going so wrong, yet so right.

Travel Roll 2d100: 11, 20. Luck roll 1d10: 2. Oh god, why? How?
You barely make any progress when you stumble across a moving column of hostiles making their way eastward at a brisk pace. From what you can tell, it's a motorized group with trucks and half-tracks, but you're unable to see if it's a logistics or a combat unit. We make less than 5 km and we're waiting for the enemy to pass. Brilliant. Fucking maps didn't say a thing about movement.
You and the car hold up in a brush line behind the enemy, just waiting, watching. The two girls in the car, watch with dread as the column stops in the middle of the road. You scope it to see that some truck broke down or something and that the crew are working on it.
Fuck, we really can't stay here. You look around and see that there's another road parallel to yours to the north that's unoccupied. You scan some more before checking the enemy maps once more. All or nothing now.
You go back to the car and grab the stored ammo in the rear compartment. The two watch you pack more ammunition and different grenades onto yourself, it's obvious that they're very concerned.
You then use hand signals to have her drive towards the north road, while you go eliminate the enemy. Well, not like you actually signal eliminate but she gets the message anyway.
MG 42 ready, grenades ready. Let's see how they like my blitz.
Roll 1d100: 69
You go full throttle down the road and ready the grenades to be thrown. From behind, you hear the car drive off, Good luck to them. To your front, two soldiers are staring right at you, confused.
As you drive past them, you throw grenade after grenade into each vehicle. You've thrown about 4 AT versions of the stick grenade and another 4 normal ones by the time you reach the front of the company. You count about 12 car and trucks, Well, minus.
Several. As dirt, snow and metal fly all over, the soldiers you passed are in a frenzy and are running away from their vehicles, hitting the deck or sprinting off from the convey. With your MG, you fire away at the nearest element, then the next one and the one after. You ignore the injured cries and yelling Germans and focus on annihilating all of them.
Once the outer squads are swiftly dealt with, you start grabbing as many explosives from the dead bodies, grenades, satchel charges, whatever that can make an explosion. You also check the surviving automobiles to see that they were mostly transporting supplies, but you don't find any useful intel.
Blowing up all the trucks would be very wasteful, let's keep one. You hear the moaning and cries of German and some other language. No offense to them, but when you're in the armed forces, well, yeah.
You tow one truck a bit away from the others before setting the rest of them into charred hulks of metal and flesh. You dismount your Striker, put it in the truck and drive away. You eventually regroup with the prisoners and you lead the way to Volgograd.

~Afternoon.
The only time the group stopped was to fill the fuel tanks in both vehicles. Fortunately, nothing else happened, apart from distant fighting and stray artillery rounds that landed in your AO.
When you get close to the city, you raise the good ol' 48 States on your side of the vehicle. As you approach a blockade, you see that it is in complete ruins. You can't tell if one place was a home or a store as everything is trashed, but you do see a great deal of dead. Men, women, children, buried underneath rags and snow, Poor bastards.
You stop the truck when a Russian comes out with a double barreled shotgun and waves it at you. Some others also come out but they watch the surrounding area. When the man says something close enough to your understanding of get out, you do so. The man is ragged, in everything, his gun, clothes, hair, face, soul. The moment he sees your uniform, the English and your flag, he starts to cry.
The other men look to see the commotion and they freeze when they see you. When one of them manages to say 'American', you give a thumbs up which causes them to cheer . You proceed to remount Big Sky and attach the flag to the mini flagpole on your backpack. You leave the prisoners and the truck to the ground forces, you still have things to do today.
What now?
[] Actually, get some rest and make sure they girls are taken somewhere safe. Maybe go meet someone that can speak English, and ask them what's up.
[] To the Sky once more.
-[] Hunt down more Luftwaffe forces, because fuck their air support.
-[] Who does CAS, you do. Hunt for targets along side the Volga river. You remember their map positions, go see if they haven't move and show them why it's their final mistake.
[] Patrol the outskirts of the city, mostly going to infantry and vehicles.
[] Patrol in the city, anything that shoots you that can clearly see your flag must be hostile. And fuck snipers.

Now that's patriotic, Johnny boy. They don't care that a man is wearing a Striker, they just know the Arsenal of Democracy has arrived to reinforce.
[X] Actually, get some rest and make sure they girls are taken somewhere safe. Maybe go meet someone that can speak English, and ask them what's up.
Let's get these girls what little comfort is left in this ruined city, and see if any defending soldiers or civilians can give us info on where to kill lots of Nazis.

EDIT: Too late for the vote. That was embarrassing...
That reminds me. Is John Arma wearing paratrooper (upper) clothing? Maybe a mask too?
I guess that's why everyone thinks he's a Witch, when they don't have a voice nor face to look upon.
That being said, bombing Nazis willy nilly while masked sounds cool to me.

Technically, I'm fairly certain taking out the German air support accomplished our mission. If there's one thing the Russians have never had an issue with, it's man power. Without aircraft bombing the shit out of them, they can just drown the Germans in bodies. You know, kind of like they did in real life.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't all available Russian reserves being diverted to Moscow? And how do we know there aren't other air fields supporting the Volgograd operation? Not to mention the Nazi's still have armor and artillery. Arma can do alot more work here.

Reserves not taking part in any combat operations are being diverted to Moscow, since losing the capital = very bad news. So there's still reserves for Stalingrad, just a lot less.
Also, they are still more Luftwaffe forces. I mean, you dealt about +80 aircraft loses, which is a lot, but there's still more in terms of long range bombers (German equivalent, which where usually shit, but hey.)
Then there's the other forces than I don't feel like mentioning since it should be obvious, tanks, infantry. Come on, it's the 6th Army + SS.
[X] Actually, get some rest and make sure they girls are taken somewhere safe. Maybe go meet someone that can speak English, and ask them what's up.
As you start walking towards the city, you pause for a moment and look back at the people behind you. One of the men gets in the truck while the others talk to the occupants of the other car. Judging by their hand motions and pointing, they appear to be giving directions, that or just telling them to follow the truck.
You slow down to a crawl until the truck and car passes you. Then you trail behind them, passing through rubble, civilians, soldiers, dead people and animals as they move through the city. People stare apathetically at the moving trucks, but when they see you, there's happiness, disbelief, or anger etched onto their faces.
While the people stay away and go about their business, you can feel the ones that are anger, glare at you from behind. There's nothing that you can do for them and you continue moving with the group. Eventually, you reach the river side where the girls are transported on a boat loaded with wounded. You, on the other hand, find a spot that you jump onto the river which surprises the shit out of everyone. If only you knew what the people were saying.
With your Striker you float across the river first, no surprise. Once there, you take a look at the other side to see the view.
That place use to be a city. Hard believe that. You go ashore and wait for the transport to make to the pier, ignoring the people around you. After the girls leave dock, they're escorted to a bunker deep within friendly territory. You debark off Big Sky near the bunker and drop your other weapons so that you can follow them in.
The two sit on a couch together near a fire pit while you lean against an inner wall. A male officer comes to talk to them in Russian while he notes you. He chooses to not talk to you when he finishes up with the prisoners as he goes off somewhere while the girls continue to wait. The girls wave you over to sit with them but you opt not to, shaking your head no.
You wait about 5 more minutes when a runner comes in, asking for the 'American'. You raise your hand and he hands you some messages before leaving. One is in completely in Russian but you do read the signature, Georgy Zhukov. Next is a extremely simple message in English, go kill Germans. You check behind it and see there's some more writing and a flag patch.
'Wear patch and wear your flag so Russia no shoot you. If you want gun, ask armorer. Do not shoot Russia.' Well, that's really simple. You go over and sit on a chair across the girls while taking off your headgear and putting them on your lap.
When they see your face, the Russian girl remains compose but you know that she's unnerved while the other one looks at you with her mouth opening and closing. You get out your dinner K-ration and start eating while the two just watch you.
Finally, the one all wrapped up speaks in English. "A-are y-you a-a-a male?" You nod while opening a can and surprise, canned meat. You down all the food as fast as you can while they watch you with extreme interest. When you finish, you toss the cardboard into the fire and leave the other crap near the fire before putting back all of your headgear. The girl in blankets fidgets around before working enough courage to speak to you. "Um, um, what's your name? I-I'm Anabuki Tomoko..."
Her talk is interrupted by a bunch of girls coming in.
There's a bunch of noise from the girls in English and Russian, but you can easily tell that they're happy as they go up and crowd around the former POWs. You more or less ignore them and take out the map back from the airfield, 2 airfields, many supply depots, Infantry, motorized, mechanized, armor, tank destroyers. There's a lot on this map now that you've given it a real once over.
(Close enough)
You get a tap on your right shoulder so you look up to the girl in black clothing handing out a cigarette to you. You shake your head no and get back to reading. "Hey, Tomoko. Are you sure it's a guy? Only a girl wouldn't accept a cigarette."
"Only you would think that all males would smoke, Beurling! Stop it, Haruka!" You hear the sound a scuffle and some Japanese cries.
"Haruka, go easy on her, okay?" The blonde woman goes to the two and make sure that they're okay while you get another tap, this time on your left.
You turn and see the little one and the Russian both do their native salute to you. "Spasibo." You salute back and nod to them. Then there's a small shock wave beneath your feet. That's either ours or enemy artillery. Everyone perks up and waits to see if there's more, but another wave doesn't come.
What now?
[] Talk to the girls, you introvert ass.
-[] About?
[] Resupply 75mm ammo at the armory, maybe try out a new toy. (You can choose another option)
-[] Change Ammo types, currently 7 HE, 10 AP, 5 APHE/ 25 Max. HE and AP are plenty, but they'll only give 2 APHE to you.
-[] 152 mm howitzer M1910/37. Forces you to drop every other weapon but your pistols. Anti-Concrete or HE rounds, Max of 13 rounds+1 in the chamber.
-[] 57 mm anti-tank gun M1943 ZiS-2. Fast reload, more ammo, better Pen. but outright shit HE values.
-[] Take a weapon as a souvenir, rifle, pistol, something from Mother Russia. write-in.
[] Anti-Air: Hunt more Luftwaffe planes, your radar will help, you know there's always more.
[] Air->Ground: The maps say there's still enemies forces that can attack the Volga river. They're probably not going to attack anytime soon, but who knows. Only 1 way to make sure.
[] Anti-Ground 1: Like Air to ground, but do it on foot. Maybe you won't fucking burn all the intel this time...
[] Anti-Ground 2: Go fight and clear as many enemy sectors within the city. It seems like the north is the most occupied spot, so fuck them.

It hasn't even been a day, we can hit those next. Besides, the Russian Air Force is still being rebuilt. Therefore, eliminating the Luftwaffe means that the Russians are still fighting urban engagements against larger numbers of better-equipped troops and armor. Also, air support doesn't do much for the house-by-house, street-to-street, room-to-room firefights of stalinVolgograd.
