Alternatively, I had this idea that if you didn't push forward with the Aurora/Alexia team-up, you could have Arisa make a slime construct based on Akane Nishino's appearance and then John Smith. That way, when John comes to Rose's rescue, we could have Iris, Beatrix, Akane (Slime) vs John Smith (Slime).

EDIT: Slime Akane would pose as Arisa's maid.

Then, there's the idea that Klaus and Martha would know Annerose who would be once Martha's love rival for Klaus's love. Annerose would form a friend/rival bond with Slime Akane. And after get defeated, Annerose decides to work with the Frelldylls as Arisa's bodyguard so that she could have a sparring match with Akane.

On the other hand, I wonder if you somehow going to give Arisa the ability to mentally mutate anyone with mana much like Demonic Possession. You could have fake Aurora exposed the Cult by secretly transforming them into monsters, thereby pining them as the Kingdom's enemy while leaving Shadow Garden safe.

War god arc could go in interesting direction since alpha used her real name in the goddess trial so beatrix should know shes part of shadow garden

Frelldyll Utter Confusion
Frelldyll Utter Confusion.

Klaus and Martha can only hold their heads in confusion...

flashback.
"Klaus, we have to do something. Arisa is hellbent on returning to the academy... I'm worried for her safety..." Martha said, still reluctant to even utter it. "*sigh* I'll think of something, we might be able to lobby the government. I have some favours that i can call upon." Klaus can only sigh in defeat. The whole debacle that had befallen their daughter surely traumatized her, and yet she still wanted to return to the academy. It made him proud that his daughter had became bolder, but he can't help to be worried about it. "... I also have some favours with the aristocratic ladies, they might be able to lend a hand as well." Martha said to alleviate some of her husband burden. "Thanks dear... *sigh* I'm going to be very busy..." Said Klaus.

11 days later.
"huh!?" Klaus can only be dumbfounded... He had asked a favor from his old friend who is a count to help push his lobby through the government... It was accepted... With at least 2 Dukedoms, 4 Marquisates, 7 Counties, 15 Viscounties, 42 Baronies, and innumerable knight houses who had informed him of their wish to support his lobby. "...What the hell is happening!? D-d-did they perhaps mistook my lobby!? I have to get to the capital now to straighten this misunderstanding!" Klaus take his horse and practically rode through the night towards the nearest train station non-stop...

at the ladies gathering
"..." Martha was overwhelmed by the aristocratic ladies who support her and even help her directly. More damningly was that she was invited to the high class gathering of aristocracy too!

She can still recall the absolute insanity that had happened there... It was more like the ladies are fighting each other to gain her favour... Or more like they are pushing for their sons to get her DAUGHTER! She can't understand for the life of her why would high aristocratic lineage wanted to married DOWN to her house...

"Lady Frelldyll, you have my house unanimous support! Your poor girl must be protected! Oh! By the by! My son is quite the capable one! He would sure-" Said Duchess Erbyu. She appears to be more concerned with Arisa than her house current situation

"Oh ho ho! Nay, nay, nay... My house would be more beneficial for Baroness Frelldyll. Also, shouldn't Duke house be more prudent with their obligation?" Marchioness Arleigh cut her off, which was incredibly rude that Martha can't help but wince...

"Ohohoho! How uncouth Marchioness! Surely you understand decorum no?" Duchess Erbyu smile was so dazzling... Her eyes were truly manifestation of blizzards however...

When they start barbing and taking shot at one another, Martha was pulled into another group of ladies. This one was lead by Marchioness Patty.

"Surely they're quite childish, isn't it Lady Martha?" She smiled gracefully.
"U-um... Um... Mayhaps..." Martha psyche is on the verge of imploding. She was deathly afraid of speaking carelessly, aristocratic gathering is no different than a battlefield... supposedly...
"My, my, my! Don't be so tense! We, also, shall support your daughter. She was quite the delicate flower, no wonder children seems to be smitten with her. Surely she is quite the charmer isn't it? Ohohoho!" The surrounding ladies happily laugh in delight, Martha can only follow suit with an awkward laugh of her own.

Several hours later, Martha was finally able to muster an excuse to retire early... She ignored a much more profound commotion after her departure... She is drained off everything...

Back to the present...
"Klaus... How did these happened? I'll be frank... This whole thing scares me..." Martha, timidly, asked her husband. "I have no clue too... I even inquired it to the government... They gave me a whole documents including medallion to signify royal permission... I... I'm also scared... hahaha... *sigh*..." The Frelldylls are frankly intimidated by the sheer enthusiasm that was shown to them... It was less of a give-and-take and more like fanaticism... "Well... I guess we have to ensu-" Before Martha can continue, a maid knocked on their door. "My Lordship, Milady, I brought a letter into your presence." Said the maid. "Come in!" Klaus said with authoritative tone, he needs to put his lord mask on. "Excuse me" The maid entered, Martha recalled that this is the new hire. She was very good in taking care of her daughter who also enjoyed her company. The maid then handed the letter to Klaus and bowed, she left the room.

"...." Klaus eyes are wide as saucer... "Klaus? What is in it?" Martha can feel the headache and stress miles away... "..." Klaus just handed the letter and utter nothing. "..." The letter was from Mitsugoshi. They said that The Frelldyll had become such a Lucrative customer that they offered what is essentially a scholarship... The letter contained the following:
- Permanent VVIP tickets for Arisa Frelldyll.
- Discounts for Mitsugoshi products and priority service for Frelldyll Barony.
- School amenities such as dorm, monthly allowance, and so on will be paid by Mitsugoshi.
- Direct line with Mitsugoshi primary store.
- Express delivery service free of charge.

"..." Martha look at Klaus.
"..." Klaus look at Martha.

They simultaneously...

"*sigh*..."

She is even being handed a chest! It likely contains gold! Definitely!
My best bet that chest contains the Holy Feathers made by Arisa's I Am The Distant Atomic.

Since they came back to Midgar, Rose was immediately summoned back to her country.

Pretty interesting the Butterfly Effect here. So when the lockdown was put in place, the Cult grow wary that the Kingdoms would retaliate for keeping their princesses as hostages so the split was their ploy to ensure both kingdom would be complacent.

Chapter 83: Resurrection
It's a shame that I only have one of those crystal thingies. It was just enough to create my Aurora persona with all the enhancements I wanted.

Now I have yet another perspective. It's pretty weird, seeing three perspectives at the same time.

I say that, but I (the main body) have already come back to my newly appointed dorm to sleep, while the other two are awake. It feels like I am lucid dreaming with the two still active perspectives even while I'm asleep, though I'm already used to it.

Anyway, talking about my two perspectives, seeing the two princesses is really surprising. Wait no, I'm only surprised to see Rose stranded in that forest. Encountering Alexia is a no brainer.

Look here Alexia, this is how you welcome a hidden power!

You don't just call an obviously powerful threat a crazy person! What kind of princess are you? Do you even have any sense of self-preservation?

As for Rose, I actually don't know what she is doing there, but she is doing well. She is moving just how I want it.

As Rose is already following Chibirisa, I think I'll just give her some of my experimental stuff I created and say some cool sounding lines before letting her be on her way.

As for Alexia…. I don't actually know…

I just moved my Aurora clone there because she invited me. It's not like I had any plans or something.

Though…. maybe I could think of something next time? I'm still a bit distracted by people actually being interested in me!

I have to rest my mind for a moment.

Oh right, before I do that, I want to test something!

It's pretty impossible to do with Chibirisa, likely because it is connected to me through some sort of magical reason. Though as for the Aurora clone, I think I can cut my connection to it. I wonder what will happen if I do.

I created that clone as close as possible to an accurate human anatomy. I just used the crystal that Eta delivered to me as a replacement for the heart. The bones are made from the metals used for magic suppressing cuffs, and the skin is from the monster hide I collected from that weird intelligent monster. Every other organ is made purely from my solidified magic.

Chibirisa automatically restores connection to me, so I wonder if the Aurora clone can do so too?

It has all the necessary organs to survive even without my control, so I think I'll just cut my connection until I wake up tomorrow?

'Where…?'

In just a blink of her eyes, she looks around seeing an unfamiliar ceiling.

Her golden eyes have now turned into a beautiful amethyst color. Gazing blankly at the ceiling of this luxurious royal suite. She sat up and then looked at the open window with a confused expression, her dark hair swaying gently at the cold breeze of the night.

'The last thing I remembered is…..?'

She recalls that beautiful formation of magic, and the light that vanquishes her arm along with her remnant of ego. In her final moments, she asked for that small girl to finish off every part of her wholeness. She wanted to rest and forget every painful memory that she had.

'Then why am I here…?'

After that thought came a surprising realization as she looked at her hands.

"I feel…. complete…" She muttered as she looked down.

The feeling of her heart beating, the complete sense of her whole bodily functions, and even every sense she had, all of it is just like how she remembers it when she was still alive.

She stood up and left the bed she was lying on, walking closer to the window before she swung her hand for a bit. With a flick of her own prowess, she easily manages to create a crimson crystal.

"... It's not my full power, but it is close…" She muttered to herself while feeling surprised at this.

Another surprising thing was that the murderous urge within her has vanished. Even though she still had bits and pieces of painful memories she possessed in the past, she lacked the genocidal rage that she had on humanity as a whole.

She closed her eyes for a moment, her senses expanding all around the city. Before her eyes widened as she felt that familiar magical signature. A foreign yet familiar one that seemed to soothe her soul.

"... I see."

Even if she was not sure, she had an inkling that the purple haired girl was the one responsible for her resurrection. It was not even the usual resurrection that she usually experienced, but rather a complete replacement of her physical body.

Even if the body was the same, she could feel it was also different from the one she had in the past.

"Now then…. I wonder where I am…?" She muttered to herself as she looked around, before deciding to leave the room.

She walked for a moment along the darkened hallways, her footsteps echoing on the marbled steps as she appraised the artistry of the castle. It was a bit modern for her own ancient sensibilities.

"Really… so they like this kind of art now, huh?" She muttered, looking at the weird abstract painting plastered on the walls.

After walking for a while, she found a path to the gardens of this palace. In her curiosity, she moved to that part to see for herself. Then her eyes glanced around taking in the large garden full of white and blue flowers.

"Hmm, I can at least commend their taste in flowers…" She nodded to herself.

"... Uh…"

She already noticed it, but decided to let the person get closer to her. Turning her head to that side, she saw a woman with crimson hair. Her strong willed gaze that had a hint of naive innocence while watching her with curiosity.

The magical prowess she could feel deep within the red haired woman is abysmal. It's at the same level as the common foot soldiers in her era.

"Greetings… I apologize for trespassing on your grounds…" Not really knowing what was happening, she spoke politely to the woman first with a soft bow.

"It's fine… I heard we had a late night guest. I assume it is you?" The red haired person said before quickly continuing. "This is just right. I am Iris Midgar, the First Princess of the Midgar Kingdom. My sister already told me about you, but if you may…."

She widened her eyes at that, surprised that the person she was facing was actually not a foot soldier, but rather the princess herself. Though she quickly composed herself, smiling mysteriously at the princess.

'Well, it is common for a princess to be at that level….' She mused within her mind. "You may call me… Aurora. I'm just a wandering witch." She said, an amused smile on her face.

In just a simple interaction, she quickly got the info she wanted. That she was actually a guest in this palace, and she seemed to be friends with Iris' sister.

'Well, nothing is holding me back anymore. I think I should enjoy myself as much as I can!' She thought to herself.

Duke Doem Ketsuhat slammed his fist on the wall. His teeth gritted as he glared beyond the windows showing the night sky.

"This is such a blunder! Just where did that princess go!?" He grumbled under his breath. "It will be impossible to go to the kingdom now that she is gone… I have to find her soon!"

After the debacle with Nelson, he thought he would have the chance to lock Rose Oriana into a marriage with him. It was just natural to order Rose's return to the kingdom with a reason for her own wellbeing after that ordeal.

Everything was going great, but an unfortunate timing caused her to discover something about them.

"What should I tell Sir Mordred…? It will be bad if he learns about this!"

He trembled as he uttered that name, recalling that sheer apathy in his gaze, and the terrifying capabilities of that man.

"If I don't find her soon…. it will be over for me!" He muttered to himself.

The door opened once more, causing him to look there. It was one of the Named Children working for him.

"What is it?"

"Doem-sama…. we found the whereabouts of the princess. She seems to be hiding within the Forest of Darkness."

His eyes widened at that.

The Forest of Darkness has become a very interesting topic for the Cult. There were many sectors vying to control it. Though the sector he was a part of ultimately took control of its matters after the Belgata Empire's branch failed.

"This will be complicated…" He clicked his tongue before shaking his head. "We might not be able to get to the kingdom, but finding the princess and taking her back is our primary objective. Take most of our forces and capture her!"

"... But, what if we encounter the Forest Hermit?"

He trembled at that. The Forest Hermit, a being in the form of a girl with dark hair and amethyst colored eyes, was one of the beings that solely protected the forest since its emergence.

Her existence was a major deterrent to the cult forces that tried to conquer it. It became very hard to acquire at least an acceptable amount of objects for their research.

He was already scolded by Mordred about it, and a warning has been issued to him. If he messes this up more, he will have to bid farewell to his life!

"... I'll personally go there along with the kingdom troops! All of the knights in this kingdom are in our control, so use them too as the front!" He stated.

He knew that the Forest Hermit didn't harm the innocent. It somehow knows whether the one who enters the forest is a criminal or not. This included even the disguised cult members.

He didn't have any valid reason to use the puny amount of soldiers within the kingdom before, but now that he had, he will do just that. Even if they lack the necessary battle experience due to their focus on arts, they will still be an effective shield against the protector of the forest.

"Princess Rose…. I'll make sure to take you back soon!" He said, a hint of desperation and desire clouding his narrowed eyes.

Sorry for the delay. Yesterday is a bit harsh for me, though fortunately today I have free time. I hope you have fun with this chapter!~

Will Arisa realize Aurora is there? 'Cuz otherwise it'd be a "i have no mouth but I must scream" situation. Though since Aurora wasn't awake until Arisa broke the connection, maybe she'll just fall unconscious instead of being aware of her body being controlled? Not that that's much better.

Fairly sure she lost control permanently the second she tried temporarily not controlling the body, and at the same time Aurora woke up in it and took control.

at the same level as the common foot soldiers in her era.

Isn't this a contradiction with her memory inside the sanctuary? The sanctuary phantom soldiers' prowess is no different than what seemingly a regular soldier is capable off. Of course this can be hand waved as a form of distortion with her memory, which is plausible but will definitely cause a state of narrative incongruity. However, if the phantom soldiers level of strength were just that much was by design of sanctuary itself, then i guess it does make sense...

Still though, it can ironically enhance the feeling of utter dread Aurora can bring to the table. Because primal human (or sentient being as a whole) fear was that of the unknown. It might also made the audience curious about how true power resonate with Arisa.

Actually, I read it as them already being dead and are just moving corpses that protects the sanctuary.

It's been a headcanon for me that Aurora's era has very strong people that are incomparable to the current state of this setting's world. This assumption has been taken due to her disappointment to Claire's claim that she is the strongest on the most prestigious academy on the continent, and her stating that today's people are incredibly weaker than what she is used to.

EDIT: Actually, let me rephrase that.

Claire only claims that she is one of the people who have the largest mana pool amongst her peers, and Aurora stated that today's quality of dark knights or mages are very poor than her era's standard.

Oh god, I thought things couldn't get better, but they somehow did.

I am eagerly anticipating the fireworks from the latest chapter.

Chapter 84: The Future of Jewelries
This is…. troubling…

When I woke up and tried to reconnect with the Aurora clone, it just didn't work.

Well, I can still connect to the clone, but I can't control it anymore. It seems like it can move independently now.

That's bad, but it's not really a bad thing for me. I really can't think of anything to do with the Aurora background.

At least I can still see its perspective…. ahem, maybe I should refer to the Aurora clone as her?

Regardless, it's not really a great loss for me. I'm just messing around with that identity after all. I'm currently doing something more important.

Like say, meeting the president of Mitsugoshi Co.

It always slips my mind, but I am actually going to give Gamma some items that are made from my magic. I really hope they sell. I need a lot of money to buy other items for my "Eminence in Shadow" collection!

There are still a lot of wines, paintings, chairs, lamps, and many more things that I need to be flexible when creating the right atmosphere.

Working normally is so lame, and I don't plan to rely on such a slow process just to acquire some money. Hunting bandits has become very unprofitable as of late. They weren't carrying as much money as they used to.

The only way is to think of some product and sell it. I'm sure objects created from magic will be interesting.

Her company is so big. With her backing, my products will easily spread all over the continent. Then I can buy everything I want and create more thematic settings for myself!

Fufufufu…. Hahahahahaha–!!

"Lady Arisa, we have arrived at our destination."

Oh right, I am currently in my family's carriage.

Honestly, I don't want to show myself at school for a while. It's been really hectic there, and it's not ideal to continue my mob operation there.

If only they just lost their interest in me, then I could continue my job as an unassuming character that works behind the scenes. I implore all of you to stop noticing me!

Anyway, here I come Gamma!

Gamma couldn't help but gulp a fresh amount of air as she gazed at the serious expression of their Lady. Today, she suddenly asked for an appointment and visited her. Her lady stated that it was very important, so she let them lead her to the deepest part of their company.

It was a shame as the others were incredibly busy after the Forest of Darkness debacle. So she was the only one who could receive their Lady's important notice and attend to it.

After taking a seat by one of the tables within this lavishly decorated office, the other female staff put a white board on request of their Lady, before leaving them alone.

She didn't know why but her lady seemed to be looking a bit distant. Or more like she had this air of cold professionalism, as if she was going to report something grave.

"First of all, for my presentation…" Her lady wrote something on the white board, causing Gamma to blink her eyes. "I would like you to check this concept and see if this will become profitable…."

The dark haired elf intently gazed at the words written by her Lady with her sharp eyes. Her mind quickly processed what she meant by it, before widening her eyes with a gasp.

"... What is this, Milady?"

Arisa seemed to tilt her head for a moment after hearing her call her "Milady", though she thought she was just imagining it as she still continues on with her "Presentation".

"The future of all jewelry!" She simply said before putting the object she was referring to.

"This is…"

Gamma widened her eyes as she looked at the purple gem. A gem that had an immense concentration of magic in it. Her eyes narrowed then after she looked at it carefully, while processing the words of her Lady.

Her Lady said it was the future of all jewelries. That meant something.

"Can you see it? The amount of profit we could get by selling this thing!" Her lady seemed eager as she said that.

Gamma could see the appeal. The gem itself was already very valuable for everyone. It could also be used as a magic battery should the bearer of it lack magical power.

Though, it was not that impressive….

"But, there are a lot of those circulating in the market…" Gamma stated while gazing at her Lady in confusion.

Just as she said, even if this crystal was so unbelievably pure that it could contend against other top tier magical jewelry, it wasn't that rare and there were other things like that circulating the market.

Even if she tried to deny it, she really couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of doubt on her Lady's claims.

"Hmph… but you see, this is just the base form. Let me show you…. the prototypes!" After saying so, Arisa took something out of her pocket, and laid it out on the table.

"!!!?" The dark haired elf gasped after seeing the objects that her lady laid on the table.

It was a glimmering dark platinum ring, with shining amethysts encrusted on it. The slightly prismatic jewel on top of it pulsed with immense power.

'An artifact!?' Gamma thought in amazement and a bit of anxiousness.

"I present to you, my very own Shade Accessories! Along with these are other types of accessories like bracelets, necklaces, crowns, hair bands, and other stuff! This is the type of jewelry that can't be seen anywhere!" Arisa exclaimed with a weird enthusiasm in her voice and expression.

"... Would you like to put it on auction?" Gamma asked.

An artifact of this level couldn't possibly be produced en masse. This meant it was actually a very unique item, and there was no price for something as precious as this one. Putting it on auction was the only reasonable solution.

"No, I want this to be sold at your shop wholesale!"

"... Mistress, we don't know how to create something like that…." Gamma winced at that as she said it.

There was no way for them to create a tremendous magical artifact that had unknown effects. And she knew there were some magical effects in that artifact. She could appraise objects somewhat due to being incredibly knowledgeable about any marketable product on this continent.

"You don't need to think about it. I will be your supplier." She simply said. "I only need your cooperation to spread this product all over the continent!"

Hearing that, Gamma finally realized something.

'So she is the one who made this!' With that thought, she quickly changed gears and bowed to her mistress. "Then, we will immediately take care of its distribution and sales. How many do you have, Milady?"

"I can at least create….. right, a thousand of each accessory type on a daily basis!"

Her suspicion has been quickly cleared with her words, though she still couldn't help but gasp in awe at the numbers. There were a lot of types of accessories, and her lady claimed that she could create each of those a thousand times everyday.

'As expected of my lady!' She thought in awe.

"Great, then I will leave everything to you."

Her lady Arisa seemed to be a lot more chirpier after hearing her confirm to take care of her products.

"... Where is Aurora?"

"I am Aurora."

"But… Aurora has golden eyes, right?"

"I assure you, I am Aurora!"

Alexia raised her eyebrows at that as she looked at the woman who sighed at her questions. Though it was understandable, as she knew that the golden eyed crazy woman had a twin.

"So… your family is cruel enough to name both of you with the same name…"

"I would prefer it if you don't diss my parents…" Aurora said with a complicated expression.

She really didn't know how to react. She just learned that this person, Alexia Midgar, is the one who invited her to this kingdom. She also wondered what she meant by the golden eyes. She always has dark colored eyes as far as she could remember.

'Maybe this has to do with that girl…' She thought, vaguely recalling the events in the Sanctuary.

The two of them arrived at the door in which Alexia knocked on. After a while it opened, revealing the people inside. A knight by the name of Marco, and by the desk working on something, her sister, Iris Midgar.

"Sis, this is the one I am talking about. I heard you already met tonight, so there is no need to introduce yourself to each other." She glanced at Aurora before continuing.

She could see Aurora now gazing around the room in wonder, and seemed to be muttering something under her breath. She looked like a child who had wandered to a new place and was curious about everything.

"This place could use some enchantments if it was up to me…." She overheard her muttering under her breath, before she returned her gaze back to her sister.

"Even if she was like this, I'm sure she would be of great help to our cause. Personally, I would like her to join the Crimson Order."

"I see… then how about you, Aurora-san?"

The witch perked up hearing her name before turning her attention to them. After that she gave them a shrug.

"Sure, I guess."

"Even the way you answer is too casual…" The second princess looked at the witch with a deadpan stare.

"It's fine. There is no need to act polite with me when we are at school." Iris stood up after saying that. "By the way, don't you have classes at this time? What are you doing here?"

"I'm touring this woman at this school because she said she was very interested. Don't worry, I got permission from my teachers!" She said.

"... Fine." Iris nodded after staring at Alexia for a while. "We're a bit busy preparing for the War God Festival, so I will put my attention there while the others continue their investigation. If Aurora-san would like, you can help us uncover more about the criminals running around the country. I heard from my sister that you might have encountered them."

Aurora tilted her head. "Hmm…. I can do that." She said before looking at the floor. "By the way, do you know about the other dimension existing beneath this academy…?"

"Ignore her, she is just spouting nonsense." Alexia rolled her eyes after hearing the witch's words.

"Right. You said she has that kind of quirk." Iris blinked her eyes for a moment, before glancing at Aurora with a bit of pity. "Well, you said she is the one who saved you in the Holy City, so I will trust that she is strong enough to help us." Iris stated.

"Of course." Alexia nodded at her. "Right…. we're just talking about the War God Festival. Why don't you join there too? I think it would be a good way to demonstrate how strong you are!" Alexia quickly turned to Aurora as she said that.

Aurora blinked her amethyst colored eyes, before slowly shaking her head. "I don't know what you meant by the War God Festival, but if it's a tournament of might, then I will have to refuse. I would like to live in peace." She said.

Alexia felt like rolling her eyes and calling her out on her words, but she decided to just nod at her awkwardly. Her mind was already whirling with confusion and denial.

'What do you mean you want to live in peace? Aren't you looking forward to fighting Shadow!? Just decide what you want already!'

As she was thinking like that, another person knocked on the door. Quickly, the only male in the room silently opens the door.

"Oh, Claire-san…" Marco exclaimed. "What do you need?"

Claire Kagenou, the girl with long obsidian colored hair and crimson eyes, simply glances around the area before locking her eyes with Iris. After that she handed the papers she was carrying to her.

"I'm doing some errands right now. Is there anything wrong?"

Iris then spoke. "I heard you are also participating. I am looking forward to facing you." Iris said with a smile.

Claire also smiled. "Likewise…." She said, before glancing at Alexia. "By the way, is your sister gonna join too?" She asked with curiosity.

Alexia raised her eyebrows at that. She could feel some sort of intent within the baron's daughter's gaze.

"Unfortunately, she didn't want to join this year's War God Festival." Iris stated with a frown. "A shame, I wanted to cross swords with her once more…"

"No way. I will quickly lose." Alexia piped up on the side. "Though, if it's next year then I might just participate…" She said, her mind becoming distant as she thought about her progress in sword training.

"Is that so?" Iris seems incredibly excited at that. "Then, I'm looking forward to it!"

As the others talked on the side, Aurora glanced at Claire. Her eyes became a bit amused as she felt a bit interested in the girl. She could feel something familiar within her, as if she was incredibly close to her like a family.

'Interesting…' She thought to herself.

Claire glances at Aurora's direction too, her eyebrows twitching in confusion as she felt her stare, before deciding to just ignore it. She thought this was just another person associated with the first princess.

I'm just setting things up for the next events that will happen later. It is definitely not because I'm having a writer's block. Nope!

It's hilarious how confusing things are for poor Princess Alexia.

I think why the God of War Festival arc is such a pivotal event is due to how it culminates several characters' development especially with their interactions with Shadow Garden. Ever since Shadow Garden debuted to the world, they became a highly controversial topic with some even don't want to believe that they exists. Even those Shadow Garden rescued have some doubts about them and try to prod about their allegiances. And let's not forget that their leader, Shadow is the equivalent to the equally controversial nuclear power.

Both Rose and Iris took center stage as both are similar in their circumstances but took different paths.

Rose is aware how dangerous Shadow Garden are and how this'll affect her and her kingdom's reputation. However, she has no other alternative thanks to the Cult's actions so she decides to accept Shadow's aid, basically pressing a button to a nuclear warhead.

Iris who is the most ignorant and dismissive of Shadow Garden's power get kick to the curb by Shadow himself. Basically, an old power being surpassed by a new power named Shadow.

Seeing as how Arisa keeps on rolling Nat 20s on her actions and is downright prophetic with her quips and lines, I like to think of her as an unhinged Contessa with a PtV shard that has a sense of humor.

I'm really sorry. I felt incredibly tired lately...

I'll take some rest, and then try to come back writing when I feel like it. Sorry again...

Just wanted to chime in and agree with the above! Writing is supposed to be something you enjoy, after all.

(Oh, and as a new reader who just caught up, I'd like to say I've very much enjoyed this fic thus far!)

Character Idea
Name: Shinigami
Appearance: For some strange reason, Shinigami bears resemblance to Arisa's former identity, Minoru Kagenou, having short black hair and black eyes. He sports an average-looking build.
Species: Angel (Death)
Bio: Many stories have regaled how benevolent and awesome Angels are but there's one in particular that brought fear and despair to all mortals. His name is Shinigami. While Angels performed miracles and granted aid to mortals, Shinigami's job is to kill and destroy mortals and harvest their souls. Centuries passed, Shinigami is the last remaining Angel existing on the world and will one day clash with Shadow Garden and their leader, Arisa Frelldyll.
Personality: Shinigami presents himself as a ruthless individual, relentlessly hunting down his targets with brutal efficiency. He also has a sadistic streak, choosing to play with his victims before delivering the deed. For some reason, Shinigami has some vendetta against Arisa, referring to her as "the one that eluded his grasps". His inability to claim Arisa's soul leave nothing short of frustrations and anger which lead to comical moments on his expense.
Powers: Being an Angel, he possesses abilities like Eyes of Judgement and Destruction Rays.
