If you do decide to reboot this quest from scratch, I would really hope that you keep what we achieved during the Storm of Santiago canon for the universe.

It makes an interesting story. First you have the mystery of the US disappearing, then the horror of the attacks and nuking of the US's borders. Then the dread of an unstoppable assault.

The Siege of... Kiev I believe it was? A miracle desperately needed.

The slow and steady push back of the enemy to the Americas, before finally pushing them all the way back into North America. The Miracle that was Santiago.

And then the fear created because the aliens are desperate and have nothing to lose. So they pull everything out, in the hopes of defeating humanity before time runs out. The even more desperate struggle of humanity to HOLD ON! We just need to HOLD ON! for long enough to make the needed breakthroughs in technology that will win the war for them.

If anybody is interested in chiming in, I've posted the second round of brainstorming for Terminus Quest in the Quest Ideas thread!

Those events are certainly all giant ones for the setting. Any eventual reboot would need to respect them as such.
Ah! True, that was my own work. Thanks!
No problem. Credit where it's due. :)
