I thought it meant acts, which just too big - not with too many votes. I can change my vote, if this works not like I expect or if you ask.

What Andre said. Scaling acts might have a cap on how high they can scale (plus "disqualified at 7 votes" seems kind of arbitrary, and likely to enrage the player base); what that rule probably means is something along the lines of "no turning the platform into a supercontinent or an entire planet of its own in one action" (to give an example).

If your suspicion is correct, I'd expect the cutoff to be closer to 10 than 7.
 
So there's a simple solution.
Someone who voted for Gold should vote for something else, as to not waste votes.
If there's nothing passing, help it pass. If something's already passing, try to get something a grade up.

Problem with this "solution" is: What if there's nothing else someone is even remotely interested in? Example: I'm only supporting 3 actions despite how I've got room for 4 because nobody has proposed anything else I want.

I think it would make more sense to vote for Nautilius Kings, since 5 instead of Inchlings 4. Then again, I have no idea if those Cephalapods will be in competition for the ducks. But looks like Andre's changing his vote, so it's up to him.

Well out of 7 people, I'd say the chances are someone would be pretty willing to support something else, just to humor someone else. Supporting it gives you nothing substantial, sure, but neither does not voting for it.

I guess it's just how you stand on the matter of "good will". It's not a bad thing to not give support, but I don't think it should be discouraged to support, in favor of nothing.

True enough, but I, personally, am strongly opposed to the concept of "voting for the sake of voting." Closest I've come here is the bamboo thing, and that was more "voting for the sake of shut up already."

I have not yet decided whether I will change my vote and for what. Maybe someone is missing one to pass? Or maybe I missed something very interesting and vote for it

If you are oh so burdened with this vote, what about you will change it and not someone who really wants to support this bamboo thing?

Wel, there's symbiotic ant species, Adam and Eve Inchling. Nautilus Kings, a spider statue with 3 votes (Though I don't know if it scales with grade), and the latest DucKing.

Hm. Were the bamboo talked a lot about? I don't even remember the acts I voted for, except the Spire and Beehive. But either way, it's got the votes it needs to pass and then some.
Everything's pretty much worked out in the end.

I don't think the goal is to change anything, but just to make displeasure known. Plusse at least had some measure of interest in it, to not reject it outright.

I wonder if "Immortality" is enough for this DucKing to not die. I might have to switch it out for "regeneration" instead, since the last cause of death was by damage, not old age. @MangoFlan Do you mind if I change it from "Immortality" to "Regeneration"? It fits more with what I plan for my next Act.

Oi, unless you're debating the gloriousness of the waterfowl commonly associated with breadcrumbs, then @Sir Plusse and @Ralakesh, stop your grievances. Arguing will get us nowhere, and might literally take us a step back.

Sure. I haven't actually started writing or acted counting yet. We had an outing yesterday and I felt lazy today.

Also, for those worried about overvoting, don't be. That rule only applies to acts that need to be above Big at minimum. Overvoted acts default to the highest available grade it qualifies for. I may have to rewrite that rule to be more clear.

In order to catch fish and pluck seaweed, these animals use grasping appendages on the tips of their tentacles that resemble human hands covered in small spikes.
      [X] Place a male and female Inchling on the Mangroves. An elf-like couple that are only an inch tall. They have a diet of fruit and insects and make their homes in the branches of the forest canopy. They are a stealthy bunch, and move like ninjas throughout the island.
      [X] Create a species of insect that will act symbiotically with the ants. The new insect, called an eflint, will feed on the waste products of ant nests and produce a sweet syrup.

    Closing vote! Added fungus act to previous turn. Rewrote 1 rule on first post. I might have to do the Gobs of Chaos style of turn act enactment.

    Big Act:
    Create a bamboo batch on the ocean floor which grows longer and higher as the years go by.

    • Shouldn't Inchling act be a big one? There are 5 votes for it in total, but one have a small error in it.

    Edit: Nevermind, I thought we need 5 votes for a Big Act for some reason.
