As monsters continued to fall from space and into the Zero Effect's radius, Thoma desperately shouted, "Hold on, Lily! Whatever's attacking you is going to stop soon, I'm sure of it!"

With all the force he could muster, Thoma
screamed.
"LILY!"

"You said before that you were always with me, Lily... well, that goes both ways! Forever and ever, I'm right here at your side! I'll always protect you, no matter what! So just focus! Focus on the sound of my voice!"
I... I'll try, Thoma! But please, try and hurry! This presence... it seems to still be maintaining its power, even through the Zero Effect!
Scanning the area around him for anything that seemed to be resisting the Zero Effect, Thoma could only think of two possibilities - either the Lunatic Pandora might be having some kind of psychic effect on her... or there might be some kind of entity still in the Lunar Cry that hadn't hit the Zero Effect yet.
In either case, there was only one thing he could do. "...Silver Cross, are you reading any human life signs from the Lunatic Pandora?!"
[Negative. Lunatic Pandora is uninhabited. Reason for query is?]
Thoma narrowed his eyes, glaring down at the construct. "If that thing just calls down monsters to hurt people," he said while leveling his Divider at it, "then I don't see any reason for it to still exist!
DIVIDE..."
[Divide Zero.]
"ZERO!!!!"
A gigantic particle beam lanced out at the Lunatic Pandora, initially seeming to halt before an energy barrier.... before then blasting right through the barrier and carving a gigantic hole in the airborne construct. Apparently he struck its power source, causing to fall over and crash harmlessly into the wasteland.
"Lily! Did that help?!"
N-no, she ground out,
it's still trying to get inside me... but I can sense it now! It's coming from above, inside the Lunar Cry!
"If that's where it is, then...!"
Taking aim straight at the moon with his Divider, Thoma began powering up for another bombardment spell. "This is your one chance! Stop hurting Lily, or I'm taking you out right now!"
At that moment, Thoma felt something - undoubtedly the presence that was assaulting Lily - begin to intrude on
his mind.
This is only painful for her because you are obstructing her destiny, the presence claimed.
Get out of the way, and the pain will cease.
It appears to have a deep, feminine voice.

knew, now, the exact coordinates the presence was broadcasting from. For some reason, it was completely motionless. If he chose to, he could easily take it out with one shot.
