The Day Pack being a Veshmeshok like previously.

That, and the link for 'Drifter' redirects to @DB_Explorer 's Dexter profile for some reason.

Apart from that, I'm good.
Fix'd.

Hmm, no concerns so far. What are personal icons supposed to be?
They're just things that mean a lot to you as an individual, so they wouldn't normally be stolen / taken away from you and such. Can be anything from simple tokens to actual bits of equipment.

By the way, can Vera issue missions? Like her contacts give her names of people who have loved ones on the outside that want to track them down. Then, she asks STALKERs to keep an eye out in exchange for medicine, treatment, or money.

I don't think I have any issues. I'm only reminded I need to loot someone. Or get back that assault rifle I think Val picked up for me, which someone borrowed because mutants were at the gate. I could be remembering wrong. Wishful thinking for an AR will do that.

By the way, are we continuing things from where we left off, with the enemies breaking down the door?

Need to rethink some of Dexter's aspects at least... possibly a new character. I do want to keep the core idea that he/she is not here for the standard 'get crazy items' thing

I'm thinking a small timeskip, maybe tripping balls Zone style.

Never played Stalker, but I'm in if you'll have me.
Anything on my questions earlier?

Anomalies are a Hell of a drug, man.

Also, it just occurred to me, do any of the PCs have contacts in the Ukrainian Military? If not, maybe Drifter could happen to know a few folks in the State Security Service currently assigned to The Zone.

Just as an idea for possible narrative stuff you could use.
I'd have to think about it, can you frame it in some way related to his Aspects?

Go for it, this is a reboot.
Ah, really? Fair enough.

How about swap "Thrill Seeker" to something like "Weekend Warrior"?

The intent here being that while Drifter had served his two years of conscription in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and taken the things he learned from that time to The Zone with him, he's clearly not the type to make the Military as his life's calling.

Also, is his Trouble "Go Big or Go Home" okay enough to work with? Or do you think I could change it up to something you could make better use of narrative-wise?

EDIT: Also, in hindsight, knowing someone in the State Security might be how Drifter got into The Zone in the first place. Which may mean he'll owe someone in the Military a few favors.

Military (Ukrainian Militia)

_____The first stalker settlement accessible from the Western border, "Rookie Village" is mainly presided over by Sidorovich, a crafty and resourceful trader who has managed relations between the loner stalkers and the Ukrainian military. It is considered a Loner camp, though various stalkers from Duty, Freedom, and even the Bandits drop by from time to time to handle vital business. For many it is the only place in the Zone to call a home. It is in the safer exterior of the zone and sees the majority of short-lived "Tourists."

_____The rookies are lead by the veteran Wolf and generally congregate around the centrally-located campfire, strumming guitars and examining the finds of the day. Healer tends to the wounded, while Fox operates as a courier for Sidorovich and a mechanic when needed.

And anyone else still interested, I've updated this threadmark with the current battle map I've just finished. Update pending, but you guys might as well start planning for the fight in the meanwhile.

My gun is shit at anything more than at 50m up to maybe a 100 meters because it's basically a shotgun dressed up as an AK, I'll take the maintenance tunnels where it'll be of more use. Anyone else comin' with?

I'll have Drifter positioned somewhere in the Ground Floor near one of the Entrances, depending on who's covering what. Gotta take advantage of the SKS' 'Long Range' Aspect.

@Sushi
Mind if I change Drifter's "Thrill Seeker" Aspect to "Formerly Military"?

So where would the new guys be in this scenario? Also forgot to update Brother's profile again, will do once I'm home from HEMA
