sorry for not posting yet - work then I got sick Should get something out tonight.

Rolling

Edit: +2 for +6 total!
Hey, sorry about the delay.

L'Esprite's noiseless and swift entry allows her to collect a handful of things at the entrance: A half-eaten lollipop, a few casings for a .22 rifle and an "Unmarked Cabinet Key." Her eyes have acclimated to the dimly lit interior, giving her an edge if she were to fight someone (+1). She's got some time to prop the door open for a swift exit, lock it closed to prevent escape, or trap it as a free action.

@Yurihime Himeyuri @Druby @DerPoltergeist @Wizard_Marshall Ready for the next turn?

Looks like I'm still waiting on @Kensai, @DB_Explorer and @PanzerWaffles.

Ready to go. Sera's just arrived, right?

@Wizard_Marshall

Heyo, Val caught up to Rachel before she got moving so work to pull case together, since i moved to your current position at D4?

Rachel won't be there. After I post IC, I'll roll for Athletics.

I wasn't intending to post tonight, but if you're eager, I'll get something out quick. I try to refrain from late night posting because I usually make mistakes, but if everyone's motivated I don't want to hold things up.

@Sushi Rolling Athletics to see if Rachel can get to F4. Not aiming to reach cover, just using my movement from last turn.

Edit: So I got a 1+1+1+0+2(Athletics)=5 total.
Wizard_Marshall threw 4 6-faced dice. Reason: Athletics Total: 19
5 5 6 6 5 5 3 3

Yep. I'm ready for the next turn. I'm just hoping my cold agrees with me ^^;

@Druby
We should probably shove the artefact into the box within the next turn so you don't turn into a ghoul or something :p

EDIT: Btw, I forgot to mention that I'm going to try to get a reaction post up to Issac getting shot, but between work and my cold I'm not sure if I'll actually manage it before things move on.

So:

@Druby @DerPoltergeist: D2
@Wizard_Marshall: F4
@Yurihime Himeyuri: D4

You did make it, leaving the others behind in the process. :p By now, you think you're at the edge of your effective range for rifle fire (suppressive fire aside) and mostly out of sight of the bandits.

That's correct, you'll take more radiation if it's in your hands the next turn. You can cram it into a container to try and block the radiation, take some anti-rad medicine or stash it / drop it somewhere.

The next turn is happening, I'll be editing the map and responding IC shortly.

Will make post tonight after work. Might as well get some samples for Dexter.

Lol, those bandits are chilling in a pile of radiation. Anyway,

@Druby @Wizard_Marshall @Yurihime Himeyuri

Ideas? Right now I'm thinking that someone should make a distraction (either shoot one of the bandits or whatever) and Felix and Issac can use the chaos to try to escape through the anomaly field. That is, of course, assuming that we don't have to roll athletics to get through since...

@Sushi

I have the detector. Would I be able to use it to guide us through the anomaly field?

EDIT: Oh, and Druby. If you're okay with taking more radiation in exchange for (hopefully) more survivability, you could hold onto that artefact for one more turn as we try to get out of range.

Lol. I noticed that too.

Sure. That was my whole intention of moving Rachel back. Do you want us to scare them or go lethal?

I take it that you don't want to hear their "business" deal? I wouldn't after they just shot at me. Just a little surprised though.

@Sushi when one of the bandits said for their friends to drop their weapons, I assume he meant everyone, not just Felix and Issac?

Lethal sounds fine. I sure as hell won't cry over a few dead bandits :p

Oh yea, Issac is holding onto that artifact tightly now. It just saved his life, so he's fine with taking a bit more radiation to avoid taking buckshot to the important bits.

Running through the anomaly field sounds like a good idea, especially if they pursue, they might end up getting caught in a few of them.

You can see the anomaly is there since you passed it on your way up. If you move one zone that's a normal action, but if you're sprinting through it + another zone, that's going to compound your difficulty (meaning the roll to do so is going to be pretty high.)

With the busted wing you have (and the artifact) @Druby is holding they're aware that there are, in fact anomalies around. Though at that range you're at, the shotguns get a big boost and they would hit you pretty easily. Some of them also have assault rifles, so that would give them an edge in terms of firepower.

That's largely up to interpretation if he has seen the others or not.

I'm not sure if you're aware, but without extra gear you can only take radiation one more time before it becomes a consequence. (So this next turn uses up your [x]2 Radiation Stress.) His geiger detector is going crazy, Issac should take some anti-rad meds if there are any in your medkit.

Hey, @DB_Explorer

Talon just shot Dexter a text to check up on him.

@Sushi

Rolling Notice to see if Talon spots anyone who looks like they need help with something.
I'll be responding IC when I get up tomorrow :)

@Sushi I've updated my character to the revisions I went through.
Good changes. You're in the RP, I'll assign some specific gear and give you a heads up when you're going to enter the IC.

@Sushi
I see... well, I don't really wanna take my chances against rifles so...

@Druby
Wanna just go along with their demands for now and see if the situation changes enough to let us escape? Maybe if some of them move away to search for the others we'll have a better chance of escaping?

What do @Wizard_Marshall and @Yurihime Himeyuri think?

EDIT: Also, depending on what happens in the next few days, I may disappear for about a week due to suddenly getting really, really sick

@Sushi

That's a reasonable worry since you guys are in the thick of it.

Given their numbers, seems like this would lead to you guys getting captured and brought back to their base, but who knows, besides Sushi.

Rachel's not surrendering, but if you guys want to go along with them, she won't kill any of the bandits or try not too. I think Val and Geralt should keep running with the package.

Might end up with us rounding up the rest of the team to rescue you guys.

EDIT: Also, depending on what happens in the next few days, I may disappear for about a week due to suddenly getting really, really sick

Take care of your health. I hope you get better.
