"Well of course. While plenty of beings dislike the gods, it's the relatives that despise them."
In a twisted way, that might work in Zagreus' favor. It's clear Zag isn't anyone's agent. Just look at how terribly he fights! When the poor lad isn't going for draws against the early Boss Opponents he's getting bodied by mook shades and the environment.I think it might be 'literally the very start of the very first run-through of the game' Zag.
He mentioned Asphodel and the Bone Hydra, so no, it's not that.I think it might be 'literally the very start of the very first run-through of the game' Zag.
There's also how he has unlocked the fountains. Those take a fair few escape attempts to first get the contractor, then gather enough gems to buy the option in question. He mentioned Asphodel and the Bone Hydra, so no, it's not that.
I don't see those mentioned in either of the chapters?
Second chapter, he mentions he got the nectar bottle he hands to Achilles from a fountain.
So much so, in fact, that I know who's speaking without looking! Well done! You capture there voices very well @EarthScorpion , i can hear all these lines as if they were from the game
He ran out of gods to kill, so he went looking for more and discovered the wonders of an infinite multiverse; which means infinite gods to kill!I'm really wonder what in Hades happened that had him end up here.
Ah, those flutterly a**h***s. As the Pact gets harsher, they can be rather nasty.to a surprising number of bright pink soul-eating butterflies.
Don't worry, Zags. All it'll require is a butt-load of necter, ambrosia, killing her multiple times and a lot of conversations/groveling and she'll eventaully relax. She'll still be trying to kill you while on the job, but she'll relax a bit."I had to try, Meg." He gave her his most winsome smile. "No hard feelings?"
"Plenty."
The purple light shining from Charon's eyesockets intensified, and he exhaled a writhing, darkness-laden mist. "Chhhhhhhhh," he said firmly.
"I dunno. He might be dumb enough to try."
someone who commits crimes due to his passions - I bet it's rage, he's an angry man
Charon would be familiar with Kratos, that Spartan alone is probably responsible for at least half his fortune.
My guess is that Kartos's backstory has been altered to some degree in order to fit in the Hades setting. Because Megaera knows him meaning he isn't an out-of-universe import. What I am wondering is how the Spartan got into this universe in the first place. Unless we are dealing with some big AU with the surface. Not that Zag really notices given what happens when he escapes.
Although the biggest mystery to me is how French Fries exist in ancient Greece. I can buy a gun being some weapon of the gods, but fries are a completely different picture.

DIonysus: "I brought them back from the East. No, farther east. Even farther."
Zagreus: "So, the West?"
Dionysus: "Listen, I was drunk"
Many runs later...
Zagreus: "I checked and I couldn't anywhere that made them"
Dionysus: "I was very drunk."
So it seems that Charon's entire vocabulary consists of grunts and growls. Does he gargle gravel in the mornings?
Video games are weird.
So you're saying that Kratos is an assassin? Only less subtle?"Actually it's passion for his craft."
"What's his craft?"
"Killing."
