CHAOS DWARFS - Turn 5

As fleets swirled and battled in the seas around Thedas, the Dawi Zharr had stood aloof above the brawling, instead focused on securing their new island holding of Kol Varaz, "The Black Port".
Masses of slaves, scores of daemon-engines, and dozens of Sorcerors had laboured for many months to raise a stark fortress-port of black basalt, with a beating heat of molten iron, bristling with all the weapons forged by the Dawi-Zharr.

We are interested in buying some of your handheld gunpowder weapons and a reasonable amount of ammunitions with it , please respond if a non-standard from of payment is required( standard form of payment being coins of copper silver and gold , issued by the governments and polities of Thedas )

Gold is always welcome. Blunderbusses are most suitable for tunnel fighting, and can be supplied in volume from Kol Varaz.

Clan Mors Turn 5

There was a change coming, the Skaven of Clan Mors could feel it, a change for the power of Mors. One of the Great Clans was falling, there was opportunity to be had, but others could see it too, so Clan Mors must act, they will be the one's to raise to take the place of Eshin. Glory to Mors, rulers of Skaven.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Queek could hear the whispers, they whisper of his new treasure and armor, they think he cannot hear them, they are wrong. He is Queek Headtaker, the one who has lived without their weakness for centuries, the one who has survived. He hears the whispers again, it is his subordinates, he shall make an example soon enough. But for now he needs to speak with his lesser bound, to see if their deal was being kept.

His body aches, and Queek knows why, so many scars from many battles, they are gone, but he feels all of them, most are nothing, but one is overpowering in it's pain, the scar of the Septim Thing carved out of Queeks face, he almost carved it out when he came back to rest of Skaven, but Septim will not win this time, no Queek is stronger, Queek will show all he is stronger, show Septim thing, show Gnawdwell, show Council of Thirteen, and Show the Horned Rat, that Queek Headtaker is stronger then all and he will never be forgotten and abandoned agian.

Queek Heataker will take what is his and his bound one will help, but first he must gain power and forces, Mors will be his soon enough.

Mid-Turn Events [5]

Isengard Unleashed

Orcs under the banner of the White Hand of Saruman have marched out of Isengard. Tens of thousands of Orcs are marching alongside the Wildmen of Dunland with only one objective in sight. The destruction of the Kingdom of Rohan. Already, their forward scouts are harassing the outlying villages, only contested by some forces of Rohan under command of Eowyn, who took charge in organizing refugee camps fleeing from the war.

Chaos Stirring

Chaos stirs in the far corners of the world. A dark chill fills the earth, as the Chaos Gods plot and scheme to bring the world into darkness and Chaos.

The Fifth Blight

After years of preparation, the Archdemon makes his move. Darkspawn are sighted in many major nations of Thedas. Southern Ferelden in particular. Thanks to the actions of the Grey Wardens that took years in the making, they alone know how dire the situation is, and have excellent information regarding them. (Will expand in PM)

Of note, there are reports of corrupted Skaven fighting their counterparts, as more infighting is reported in the Frostback mountains. Well, more infighting than usual.

Vampyrates of the Seheron

Survivors of the Pirate Isle of Saratosa have made their way to Seheron. Though their power lay broken by Dwarven Ironclads, they are still a considerable force to be reckon with, though they are a shadow of their former self. Still, their numbers bolster the armies and navies of Count Noctilus and his undead compatriots. Some have even started talk of establishing some kind of 'code'or 'guidelines' now that all the pirates of the region are united under a single set of sails.

Gotrek and Felix's Excellent Adventure

After having a bizarre encounter with abominations, rat fade spirits, transformation experiences, and a desire demon, Gotrek and Felix led a war of bloody vengeance against the demons of the Fade. After months and months of slaughter, many a demon had enough of the dwarfs and humans of the living world. When Teclis made an appearance in the crossroads of the Fade, benevolent spirits of the Fade were more than welcome to get the new residents of the Fade out of there.

Karak Eight-Peaks Contested Again

Dwarven armies have finally arrived to relieve the defenders of Karak Eight-Peaks. The Skaven supremacy of the Dwarven hold will be tested by Dwarven might.

Paragonship of Ghabakh

After the great victories over the Darkspawn in Kal-Sharok, the Dwarves of the once Great Thaig celebrated and mourned. With the destruction of their cousins in Orzammar, they alone stood as the last Dwarven city in Thedas. With this in mind, they are eager to keep the allies they have made. Debate rangs on whether to grant Paragonship to the Dwarf that helped reclaim the lost Thaigs, Ghabakh, of the Dawi-Zharr. To be revered and acclaimed as one of the very rare living Paragons of the history of their people.

They also promised their other allies to help them in future endevours against the Darkspawn, and have granted them high honors for them as well.

Combined Magical Arms

The forces of the North have begun implementing their magical talents into their army. Using their skin-changing for military applications. Using Wierwood Bows with dragonglass tips, and using runic armor to protect against foreign magics. Cavalry was also reorganized, with many a Skagosi mounting Unicorns and many a mountain clansman mounting Eagles. They also sent scouts and forces to the Wasteland of the Lands Beyond the Wall. Troubling stuff they would find. Remnants of battles from Chaos and White Walkers were seen in the Fist of the First Men. The fortress of Valkia at the Fist of the First Men stood there still. Manned by the remnants of her army. But more troubling would be the sighting of more and more warriors arriving. Something was stirring beyond the wall, and marshaling it's strength it was.

Beginnings of a Renaissance in Westeros

Thanks to the introduction of trade between the Westerlands and Reach with Tamriel, and Middle Earth, a new age of discovery was ushering in southern and western Westeros. New ideas, exposures to new cultures and magic had an effect in the continent. Though its use was restricted, there was still a fascination with it, and a black market of magic was founded among the upper echelon of society. Of note, the Arbor had progressed the most, with its shipyards producing more and more ships to send to far off shores.

Gotrek considers his vengeance-oath against the Fade fulfilled. For now. But now he sets his sights on the Darkspawn and Skaven that brought Orzammar low, and sharpens his axe as he prepares for yet more war... He is a Slayer, after all. Their axes do not rest.

SECRET
The time for doubt is over, Aragorn. The shards of Narsil are being reforged as we speak. Reveal your golden lineage to the world, become what Isildur could not be: A true king of your people. Stand by my side as I gather a council of free peoples, a council for a new alliance of the children of Eru. For I too have long enough doubted and hesitated. When Gil-Galad fell, when your ancestor, my brother left to rule as king, I thought myself humble, I thought there no need for a new High King as my people faded from Middle Earth. Now it seems like the Valar have trapped us in this world against our will. My people need leadership and unity. They need the young race of your people. We need to stand together if we are to triumph over the shadow. Will you stand at my side Aragorn? Two High Kings once more, leading the Free Peoples with Noldorin blades?

The shadows are on the march, we must stand together if we wish to prevent another age of darkness to fall over all of Middle Earth. I call on you to send if possible envoys to my home in Rivendell. Great discoveries have been made and defeat of the enemy may still be possible. Be assured that the Eldar are still of this world and are already massing as we speak to strike down Sauron as we did Morgoth.
I will take up the sword, and stand with you against our foe in Mordor, to lead the race of men once more in one last alliance.

Friend, if you have heard of the tales of Eshos, then doubtless you understand that those plaguing Vorlorish and Bravosh will not stop once they have bloodied their horns there. The sea between Akavir-of-the-West and Essosh is small and easily crossed by even the flimsiest of ships if your maps are correct. As you are the Viceroy of Trident, the defense of these lands falls to you, as is your duty, and as Stonetop is part of Trident, know that I shall support you in your efforts to ready these lands for foreign incursions. So long as it does not impede my ability to serve the Conciliator King, I will provide you with what help I can, both in terms of engineers and mages to shore up your eastern forts and ports.
Your help is appreciated Lord Domihaus, and accepted. Any help you and your people can provide will be most welcomed. Most of our current ships are stationed at Seagard, and Maidenpool.

Now that you wrote to me, It reminds me that we spoke of guardianship when we last met. My son Elmo was very taken with you and your people. He is a most curious lad and he has asked me to allow him to visit. He is but a lad of eight years, but he has expressed interest in seeing your magics. We would like for him to accompany you, as a sign of trust and friendship.

Thane Robert of Clan Redwyne,

You are another new sight to the eyes of the Karaz Ankor, one of the strange men of the far West. The Dawi have of eld had sacred pacts and trade agreements with the Umgi. It is said by your sailors that your hold is on a great island, plentiful in wine and protected by cliffs and waves. Allow the traders of the Karaz Ankor to dock at your ports and see these new lands for our own.

King Byrrnoth Grundadrakk of the Dawi,

Your people shall be as welcome as any to visit my beautiful isle, to dock in our ports and bring with them trade. However, I must state, the Laws of the Land are to be followed for surely you would grant us such respect as we would abide by you, if in your home. With that said, come one, come all. I have no doubt we will be pleased by the exotic goods possessed, and it's my hope your people enjoy the wine my House is renown for making. I must admit, it is gladdening to see yet another peaceful group, one certainly esteemed and espoused for their wisdom through the ages.

The Blight is upon us, the one great calamity which threatens all races of Thedas equally. The bane of our continent.

Surely you already realise that the Darkspawn are a threat to the Dalish elves you are aiding.

Since I already had the honour of fighting alongside the Asur which you send to Elvhenan when we tried to retake it from the greenskins, I now urge you to join me in another offensive against the Orcs to drive them out of Elvhenan once and for all. This is a critical moment. If the Orcs are not taken care of now, then they will just take advantage of the Darkspawn sapping our strength, growing too powerful while we are distracted. If the Dalish are to reclaim their rightful ancestral home, I ask that you support us in another offensive. If required, Antiva would be glad to pay Asarnil the Dragonlord's bill.

The time is now! As the darkspawn, enemy of all life, spill out into the world, as Druchii raid our coast, enlaving elf and man alike, as undead defile our forests, the vile greenskins still occupy the land that should have never been taken from you.
If we wish to remove this festering tumour from Thedas before they grow too strong to be removed, before other threats weaken us too much, then we must take them out now! Antiva stands with you. Let us write history and right the wrongs of ages past!

To: Rivain
From: Josephine Montilyet

Homeland of our revered Queen Mother Asha Campana, your country is an inspiration to us all. With envy do we see how men, elf and qunari live together in peace, impressed are we by how just and liberal you treat your mages, with respect do we see how much you give to women.

Rivain, though we yet have a long way to go before we are more your equal in culture and wisdom, we call upon you now! To your west in the ancient land of Arlathan does fester an infestation most vile, greenskin savages of great brutality and strength. They came to Thedas with only one purpose, to slaughter, pillage and burn. If they had their wish, the whole continent would be a charred battlefield.
This is the moment of destiny! As another Blight rises, we cannot ignore the danger right at our doorstep. Once the darkspawn have weakened us, the greenskins will spill out of Arlathan and attack all that is close to them. Their first target could be us, it could be Tevinter, it could also be you. We are each equally close to them.

The one chance is to strike them now! Mirroring your manifold society, we are part of an alliance of men and Dalish seeking to purge the Greenskins from our land. Join us, sisters and brothers of Thedas!

Is the Old World getting old for you? All this worlds merging business got you excited for adventure, business and gold in faraway lands?
Why not come to Antiva? It's a great place to expand your career. Our culture is different enough to have exotic allure, but due to cosmic coincidences similar enough to Tilea and Estalia that it will feel comfortably familiar. Overall, Antiva is a great place for some mercenary business. Many rich city states with their own special pleasures, lots of rich merchants and nobles to ensure you'll never be out of work. Oh, did we bring that up already? Our continent is rife with conflict right now, a mercenary paradise! And the best thing is, the things you'll be fighting here are either native threats which will make for easier, but still challenging work than you are used to, or enemies you are already familiar with since Thedas is currently being colonised by people from your world. Who knows, moving your business to us might enable you to meet new friends or kill old enemies.

So come now to Antiva and enjoy the great many opportunities of Thedas, where mercenaries are always in demand.
Thedas! It might suck for us, but for you it's paradise.

Mistress Belladonna, Pearl of Pavona.

I will be frank.
Antiva is a land of city states, in culture quite similar to Tilea. We are also renowned for our assassins, possessing many poisons you may find intriguing, I have attached some samples with this message as a gift. In the same vein, many poisons from the Old World are unknown here in Antiva, so their usage would be very hard to prove.

I wish to offer my condolences for the tragic death of your seventh's husband. Truly the gods are cruel to see you lose them in such quick succession to innocent accidents.

By the way, the prince of our fair nation is still a bachelor. Easy on the eyes, a good lover, not terribly ambitious, but good with money.
Have I mentioned that in our culture, women have a far better chance of taking the throne without being second to the king than in the Old World?

In any case, Antiva would be delighted if you would choose to grace us with a visit so that we can show you the beauty of our fair country. You are welcome to stay as long as you like.

Erebor, the Lonely Mountain
TA 3017 / turn 5

Internal events:
  • Having managed to join with the Asur's armies and beat back the Orcs and Easterlings burning Dorwinion, the Dwarves and their Mannish allies march onwards, intent on avenging the ruination of Dorwinion.
  • A large amount of refugees arrives at the Lonely Mountain, and the Dwarves struggle to integrate them with the Men of Dale.

Erebor, the Lonely Mountain

TA 3016 / turn 4

Internal events:
  • Glóin son of Gróin's expedition to the West returned with grim news. While the Dwarves still worked the mines of Ered Luin, they were not many, and still had their own problems to contend with. What's worse, Balin's expedition to Moria ended in disaster. The expedition found his tomb and the remains of the Book of Mazarbul that detailed the colony's establishment, its short life and its demise. It also found Balin's tomb. Neither the finding of Durin's Axe, after all those years, or a king's ransom in mithril, make King Dáin's sorrow any less. Sorely desiring to avenge his kinsman, he had other matters to contend with.
  • With news of Orcs and Easterlings raiding Dorwinion reaching the Lonely Mountain, messengers were sent to the Vine-Regent's court with offers of aid and alliance. None returned. A fiery debate ensued between those that wanted to march south-east to Dorwinion's aid and those that trusted naught but the Mountain's strength; in the end, the former prevailed, for they argued that only together could the North stand, and that if they would abandon the Men (and Elves) of Dorwinion, they would be no better than the Easterlings they fight.
Therefore the armies of Dale and Erebor march for war. Some men were left back in Erebor (and the Iron Hills), but the majority were mobilised and sent to the defence of Dorwinion.

Manling Grog-king of Dorwinion,

The ironclads of Barak Varr have embarked at your ports and found your people to be good hosts, if uncomfortably friendly with the elgi. We would open up trade between our realms, so that gold and alchol might flow and our people be together enriched. We have also heard tales of dawi in the lands closer to you, of Karak Erebor, and that you have recently drawn steel against a horde of grobi and fouler things. Guide us to our kin and the Wine Lords shall have aid in the form of stout Dwarven steel and artillery.

Turn 5 Events (Part I of IV)
Turn 5 Events (Part I of IV)

In which Seheron is the site of yet another battle

Count Noctilus and his pirate vampires fortified the Isle of Sehron yet again. They would be the third conquers of this place in its history, and it showed. The island was lucky to inhabit a couple or so of inhabitants, as most of its population had died, or were driven off as refugees. It was all good for Noctilus in the end, as he raised the dead to fight once again for their undead necromatic masters.

There would be two factions that would attempt to take control of the Isle. One of them was the combined might of Nevarra and Antiva, who combined sought to remove the vampire presence in the Isle. This was a fleet that was modified with canons and gunpowder, and led by Isabella, a sailor, now captain of renown. This was a concern for the forces of Noctilus.

But it would be the second faction that would give anyone pause. Yet another Empire made it's presence known. Uriel the Fifth led an expedition to remove the undead from the Island as well. They came with a naval force that was of equal in strength to the Antivan and Neveresse faction, although it was at a general disadvantage due to their lack of gunpowder.

In the end, both the fleets of Thedas and Tamriel had an uneasy alliance as they attacked the Vampires and expelled them from Seheron. Count Noctilus was defeated as he faced overwhelming odds, but he also managed to deal heavy blows to the Imperial Tamrielic fleet. The Vampyrate would retreat to friendlier waters with half of his forces, and some remnants of the pirates he managed to attract to Seheron.

Seheron itself would be further divided between the Imperials and the Antivan/Nevaresse alliance. Both sides have managed to land troops and capture key settlements and forts in the Island. A standoff now exists between these two opposing armies. An arrangement is expected to be made, as diplomats from both sides meet.

WAGH!

There were a lot of Greenskins in Arlethan, a lot of Greenskins. Scores upon scores of goblins, orcs, and worse infested the forest. Doubling their initial number. With these forces, they would outnumber their attackers and push them back out of the forest, as Grimgor would unleash WAGH upon the men, elves, and dwarves.

There would be some stand out strategies that prevented this from becoming a unwinnable fight. Teclis, with help from the Daelish Keepers, would finally crack the secret of the Eluvian mirrors. With this knowledge, they would unleash devastating hit and run attacks that bought valuable time and kept their enemy disorganized in their assault. Teclis even unleashed the ancient elven defenses of the forest, as even the ancient Varterral joined in the fight on the side of the Daelish.

It would be a brutal battle, with huge casualties on the side of the Greenskins, and major casualties on the side of the Daelish and their allies. Even with all their preparation, and all their magic, the Greenskins were slowly but surely winning key engagements. Grimgor himself would slay yet more giant beast, with many a Varterral falling before him, and even the mighty Asarnil the Dragonlord and his dragon Deathfang were brought low by him.

In the final stages of the battle, Gotrek and Felix would play a decisive roll. After some intense arguing with the leaders of the alliance, Gotrek and Felix would be convinced to help against the Orcs. With the Spirit of Grungi overhead and Teclis unleashing magic from up top, they would make battle against the Orc warboss. It was here, where Grimgor Ironhide would finally meet his end by the combined might of all of east Thedas and the help of Gotrek, Felix, and Teclis.

The end result would not be pretty. All forces that took part in the battle would be decimated and spent. It was a narrow win, and one that would scar the survivors for generations to come. The threat of the Green Tide was finally over for at least decades to come.

Changes in Orlais

Vlad Von Carstein quickly started making changes early in his new reign. He began trying to implement a system of public education. He cited the replacement of child labor with state sanctioned zombies and skeletons. Of which this was very poorly received. After spending a lot of political and social capital, the labors of his work began to show some promise, but not much. Many peasant were not willing to use zombies or skeletons to do their work for obvious reasons. And those that did, were simply the most desperate of the population. As a result, the only children going into public education would be the lowest of the poor. The scum of the streets.

But not all is bad news, the newly founded Academie Impérial de nécromancie, is a huge success! Social and economic advancement is now possible as the Academy receives hundreds of applicants, eager to finally be free from the tyranny of the Circle of Magi.

In unrelated news; the Chantry and Orlesian rebels have been escorted out of Orlais. They are currently looking to set up shop somewhere safe where they could reorganize the Chantry and take stock of the situation.

The Fifth Blight and the Battle of Lothering

The arrival of the Darkspawn came at an inopportune time for the Nation of Ferelden. With most of its army at the Orlesian border, they would be powerless to stop them from advancing straight into Ostager and later Lothering, and the ruins of Orzammar. Luckily for the Grey Wardens, this would allow them to kill two threats with one (spiritual) stone.

The Wardens under the command of Enchantress Fiona would make a ritual with some of their last supplies of lyrium. They would use the Fade to contact as many benevolent spirits of Justice and Vengance and unleash them upon what remained of Orzammar. These spirits would consume any Skaven that remained among the ruins and a whole Darkspawn army that had just arrived to claim it for its own. This would have the unfortunate downside of making Orzammar a permanent wound on the veil. Forever to be tainted by the spirits of those long gone.

When the Darkspawn forces made their way to Denerim they would be met by the forces of the Inquisition, Ferelden, Grey Wardens from many a nation, and mercenaries hired by Antiva. It would be in Lothering where they would do battle and defeat the Darkspawn armies. A major reason for such a decisive victory would be the heavy Grey Warden presence who forced the Archdemon from showing in the battle. As it stands, the Darkspawn armies are on the run, and the final battle for the fate for Ferelden is at hand.

The Sixth Blight

Skaven under the command of Ikit Claw would attempt to capture a Old God with their strange and unusual technology. With their experimentation, they devised a way to warder off Darkspawn in a limited fashion. They thought that this would be enough to prevent the Darkspawn attention. When they found the Old God Lusacan deep under the deep roads of North-Eastern Orlais. They would attempt to mutilate and change the Old God so that they would gain access to the Dark Spawn hive network. This would end in tragedy. It is not known how exactly the Old God got corrupted. Perhaps because it sensed the presence of red lyrium usage, or perhaps it was the limited use of their repellents, but the fact of the matter is that the sixth blight is upon Thedas, making this the first time multiple Blights happen simultaneously.

Siege of Minrathous

The backbone of the Drucchi fleet has inexplicably left the assault of the Tevinter Imperium. Rumor had it that the order came from the King of the Drucchi himself. This was fortunate for the defenders, since they got all their remaining forces to relive the siege of their capital.

Before they did however, the Drucchi finally managed to crumble the defenses of Minrathous and his Khainite Assassins infiltrated the city and made coordinated attacks against the Magisters. They were aided by the many elven slaves, many of them led by Fenris who took pleasure in using his kinsmen's knowledge of the city against their oppressors.

In the end, the Drucchi forces would be repelled thanks to overwhelming reinforcements, but not before they did irreparable damage to the city. All of their elvish slaves have been either killed, or freed by the Drucchi, and the magical defenses and enchantments that have shielded the city for millennia have come undone, with no sure way to remake them again. Also the Tevinter leadership have been depleted, with only a handful of Magister families left. The city stood a shell of its former self.

The Three Towers

Who now has the strength to stand against the armies of Isengard, Mordor and Nagaroth? To stand against the might of Sauron, Malekith and Saruman? And the union of the Three Towers?

Tens of Thousands of Orcs marched across the Westfold, burning and destroying everything in their path. The forces of Rohan under the command of Eomer have done numerous harassing campaign against the forces of the White Hand, but they have only delayed the inevitable. Their capital fortress of Edoras is under siege, as the orcs have had some trouble with the roaming cavalry of Rohan who always strike at the most inopportune time, preventing the army of the White Hand to do a proper siege.

Far off in the North, in the frozen Icebay of Forochel, a massive invasion force, one not seen since the invasion of Ulthuan, landed in the bay. Malekith himself, and his darkest companions led an invasion upon the lost kingdoms of Arthdain and Rhudaur. Facing opposition only from the Dunedain rangers, Malekith has forced marched all the way into the Last Bridge of the Mitheithel. The Dunedain rangers have joined forces with the elves of Rivendell.

The Lord of Rivendell, Elrond, has been crowned by Glorfindel with the title of High King of the Noldor and swears a renewal of the alliance of Eldar and men in bonds of family and friendship to the new king of Gondor and Arnor. As he prepares to resist the incoming tide of Drucchi who seek the destruction of the The Last Homely House East of the Sea.

The Drucchi presence has terrorized the local populace. As their cruelty and malice is only matched by the Dark Lord himself. There is a new Witch King in Angmar. One who has flown beyond even his vanguard in search for something.

The Battle of Pelennor Fields

The Witch King led an assault upon the city of Minas Tirith. Due to sending most of their forces to the war in the North, their armies were less numerous than what they would be otherwise. Their forces were soundly repelled by the combined might of Boromir, Faramir, and Theodred who led a successful pitch battle against the forces of Sauron. The most excelent Gondorian infantry and archers proved more than a match against their orcish counterparts, and the Rohirim made excellent use of cavalry charges led by King Theodred. This setback would be a momentary one, as more and more orcs are bred, and reinforcements in the form of the Corsairs of Umbar and even more Easterlings arrive to reinforce Mordor.

Of Dwarves and Elves

The alliance of the Dwarves of Erebor and the Everqueen of the Asur continues to stand strong as they press their advantage against the forces of Mordor and the Easterlings. After a few decisive battles that would be further known as the battle of the Celduin, they would drove the Easterlings and Orcs them back to Rhun and Mordor respectably, though only a fraction of their original forces remain. Making this a decisive victory for the Dwarves of Erebor and the Asur.

Now was the time for decisions to be made. Either to press their advantage and attempt to pass the Ash Mountains of Ered Lithui, go into the battle plains of Dagorlad and then attempt to rendevouz with the forces of Gondor and Rohan using the road of North Ithilien that would get them as far as Osgiliath. Or simply to return to the Mountains, or figure some other path forward.

The Forest Grows

In the forest of Fangorn, a power is rising. Trees are waking up. A long power has been sleeping here for many long years... a thing is about to happen that has not happen since the elder days.

The Ents are going to wake up and find that they are strong.

The Secret City

Very early in the year, the Drucchi fleet that was assaulting Braavos departed towards an unknown destination, but before they left, their Black Arks bombarded the cliffs leading into the lagoon of Braavos, sealing the city off from the sea. This would have even bigger consequences as the city would be left without it's lifeblood for many a month.

The Mass Migration

Due many conflicts in Essos, and the two foreign invaders, it has caused a great number of refugees and migrants from the continent. Most of them made their home among the Sunset Kingdoms.

The Black Walls Fall and Drowned Rises

The Black Walls of Volantis have finally fallen as Lizardmen and Ironborn storm the city of Old Volantis, killing thousands of the blood of Old Valryia. One of the last remnants of the fallen Empire has fallen to the forces of Lord Mazdamundi. The Red Temple of R'hllor, the lord of light, has also had it's light extinguished, as the lizardmen continue to proselytize the word of the Old Ones to the terrified populace.

Progress in the Sunset Kingdoms

With their new influx of migrants, the kingdoms under the Iron Throne continued to advance into a new age. With the Westerlands and the Reach being pushed forward by both Lannister and Redwyne respectably. For the Lannisters, they have taken the Magic edict word for word, as they attempted to follow the law of the King, with many a wayward noble being arrested under the guise of practicing foreign magic. The biggest scandal came when lord Tarbeck was imprisoned when magical artifacts were found in his possession during a feast in Casterly Rock.

In the Arbor, progress was also made as Lord Redwyne celebrated the creation of a naval academy to better lead the fleets of the Iron Throne. Thanks to the arrival of Essoi migrants, and being a centerpoint of trade, the Arbor has seen the rise of a growing middle class of merchants, civil servants, and artisans. This has been encouraged by lord Redwyne, who has taken a personal role in the continuing development of the people of the Arbor.

The North has also shown some progress as they continue to develop, as Benjen Stark continues to develop his Western lands. Trade has finally flowed into the region in huge amounts, this is mainly due to the large demand for lumber from the southern lands, and also from the new possible trade opportunities in Tamriel and Middle Earth, which has increased trade in the Sunset Sea almost tenfold.

In the Rivelands, Domihaus accepted the guardianship of a young Elmo Tully, as he went forth to provide suitable defenses to the forts of the Riverlands. The defenses of Maidenpool, Seagard and Saltpans were reinforced by some enchantments and by standard Minotaur engineering. All of the while teaching young Elmo the finer points of the his culture, and of his people in general. Rumors among the Westerosi would tell of tales of the young Elmo unleashing lighting one stormy night, but those would be easily dismissed as mere rumors.

A Mages Guild would also be opened in Stonetop (Oldstones) for any wishing to learn about magic. The only caveat was that by learning magic, they would enter the personal service of King Jaehaerys, and would forsake any ties of loyalty, but for those to the King.

The veneration of the Mother has grown rapidly in the Riverlands, and expanding into the surrounding lands. Tales of Septas and Silent Sisters curing Greyscale have spread like wildfyre, as more and more desperate people flock to the Riverlands in search for cures to their incurable ills.

Of Gods and Men

Lord Robert Redwyne would send an expedition to the lost lands of Andalos. He would make landfall near Braavos and would find the city in disarray. This would allow them access to go deeper into Braavosi territory due to the mass confusion. There they would attempt to find the hill from which Hugor of Hill was crowned by the Father himself. Many of his companions were incredible pious and devoted to the Seven who are one. Robert himself would be one of seven knights who made this journey as they set off in this crusade in search of the holy land of Hugor.

In the North, Elia Stark would follow the rituals and guidance of the Green Men, as she awoke the dormant power of her bloodline. It also allowed Beron Stark, the new Greenseer of the North to use the roots of the Wierwoods to 'talk' to the other tree hiveminds of the other worlds. The rising of the Ents in middle earth has joined in the song of the Oak of Ages, as the long dead Greenseers and Old Gods of the Children and the First Men join in the chorus.

(Diplomacy between House Stark, the Wood Elves, The Everqueen and the Ents is unlocked).

The Growth of Dragons

It's been five years since the second Doom of Valryia, and in that time the Dragons of House Targaryen have grown in size and in number. It is now recorded fact that dragons are growing at an unprecedented pace. It is also now recorded, that Targaryens have gotten even more apt at taming them, if it was at all possible. There are so many dragons of great size in both Dragonstone and the Dragon Pit of King's Landing, so much so that it has become something of a problem.

Rat on Rat Action

All over the underempire, the Skaven fought Skaven as the fallout of the fall of Clan Eshin reached its climax. Of all the Clans that would cannibalize the Great Clan of Eshin, none other got as much out of it as Clan Mors. Using the civil war as a distraction, Queek Headtaker made a surprise attack upon their rival, clan Mordkin. With swift precision and savagery honed from centuries of warfare, Queek and his Skaven allies managed to defeat and take on the assets of Clan Mordkin. They would also gain the fealty of clans Kreepus, who had it's leaders killed after a failed assassination attempt on Queek Headtaker.

When Clan Skyre made it's way back to Skavenblight, they would find Clan Eshin almost completely eradicated. They would offer the once Great Clan protection if they agreed to work for them on request. A condition they readily agreed to. Only time would tell what dastardly plans do Clan Skyre has its mind on.

Tilean Tsunami and Noblewoman Travels

A massive wave made landfall in the Tilean coast. Devastating the coastal ports and towns. Many suggested this be the result of some kind of earthquake, but people are skeptical of it, as earthquakes were a rare sight in that particular area, with records dating back hundreds of years to collaborate.

In other news from Tilea, noblewoman Lucrezzia Belladonna has departed her home towards the new lands of the South. Not much is known as to what spurned such an action. But an announcement concerning this is expected any day now.

Conflict in Naggaroth

The Shadow King Alith Anar continues his campaign against the Drucchi. This time focusing on the slave camps of Naggaroth itself. They would lead some successful raids and liberate many a slave, but they would soon find themselves countered by the Drucchi defenders before too long. Though they did a considerable amount of damage, it is clear that a bigger force would be needed to break the Witch King's realm of fear and terror.

Gashnag; Leader of the Border Princes?

Through acts of charm and guile, Gashnag the Black would find itself becoming the unofficial political figurehead of the Border Princes. Being the host of grand parties and galas has made him a very popular figure in the local nobility. It helps that a lot of mercenaries and people with an ax to grind against Vampires have suddenly left the area and have gained lots of employment down South. Soon enough, Gashnag would use this as an opportunity to modernize the army of his domain, in order to compensate from the sudden lack of mercenaries. Many princes would see this as a wise move, and see Gashnag as a friend and ally.
