A warden welcomes back his lost jewel...
Run 1-1
Location
Denmark

Choices:

Choose between Teal, Orange, and Pink.
The quest uses both Write In and Choices as the ways of voting, and will define what voting system is currently in use at the end of the post.

When you write in a command, like "[X] Dance until your legs give out", the character will then try to accomodate the action. Certain actions take rolls of their stats to succeed, while others will be difficult or even impossible given the character's personality or abilities.

The write in system changes when offered a choice though, as the only choices will be displayed in text at the end of the post.

That's basically it for now, with more mechanics and elements becoming relevant as the quest progresses.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you have a wonderful day.

Run 1-2

Write In:

"Princess" is free to be given commands now.
Go places, do things, ask things, the box is open for input.

I am happy you are back! How was your break?

Thank you for asking! It was a lot of ups and downs honestly. I was distraught about my ability to even create things that people would care about for a long while actually. I've since gotten some gumption from some thoughts like "The time will pass anyways" and "If you're scared, then do it scared", so here I am again, with something I've really tinkered with for a while! I hope I can entertain you all with it!

Run 1-6

Combat:

Toree is now in combat. Your choices are to combine Knacks (left hexagons) with Skills (right hexagons) from the Knacks and Skills menu.

You can also choose to do something that isn't a set of a Knack and a Skill, though success of the action depends on succeeding an appropriate roll against a modifier of how difficult it is. Stepping to the side is easier than backflipping away 3 times in a row after all.

As a reminder, here are the currently revealed elements of the menu:

Thank you for your patience everyone! I just didn't manage to update yesterday.

...Also whoops, forgot to close the vote. Oh well.

Notice:

If you want to, you can vote to continue an action indefinitely or even "program" a set of responses for combat, as I know right now battles are not going to be the most engaging unless people choose to act outside of the known Knacks and Skills.

I promise that combat will get more interesting sooner rather than later.

Thank you for reading my work, seriously, it gives me purpose.
