Wardes is still Wardes, more at 11
How else the church is going to convince the nobles that is time to mount another crusade for the holy lands. Doesn't matter how much blood is spilled in the process.
Is the Elf even Bishadal though? The big question is why he did that? Bidashal was affiliated with King Joseph in canon, but what does he gain from attacking a bunch of humans like that? It probably wasn't aimed at Louise, from how he suddenly went into srsmode when he heard her chant Void magic she wasn't his original target here.
Louise appeared right behind Bidashal, her eyes narrowed in fury as the swordwand sliced the creature's cheek.
Oops~ Ignore that.
Description fits, but the name wasn't meant to be read. Doesn't change much...(Or does it?)
Um. Teleport? It's a Void spell. Though, it's rather high on the scale for her at this point -- especially on a personal level like this.Well, that Elf was sure strong. Anyone know what teleport spell Louise was casting?
That should be easy, jf I remember right Saito's runes contain memories of all their previous bearers or at very least thise of Sasha. Saito xan also let her access his memories.ugh, crusader luis is back, man shade, I really hope you have something planned that will break the faith of louise and deconstruct her belief in brimir and the church else we will have to dig more shade despair pits™, because that part of louise seriously rubbs me the wrong way and needs to be taken care of, seriously
I thought Louise already worked through this blind angst? Louise may still be undecided on whether or not she loves Saito, but hasn't she worked out that she holds affection for the man? Misplaced anger is out of character, Louise should at least be aware of her own jealousy.
...Good lord Saito is such a dumb fuck. Not even a day and he's already rooting for the people who blatantly used him. I mean forgiving Wardes was bad enough, seeing as the guy didn't even apologize properly for literally killing Saito. At this point I'm suspecting continuing mind-control or the onset of serious mental health issues, as he's applying the same "they were victims too!" logic to everyone."Louise," Saito replied in a soft whisper. "They didn't choose who to serve," he added. "You can't blame them for what isn't their fault."
"Now that's not right," Josette said. "We did have a choice. We could have died of starvation," she smiled as she said that, her cute smile not leaving her face. "Or ended up in a brothel. Some fallen nobles do a pretty good job as bandits, and a couple get by razing down villages. I guess-perhaps," she scrunched her face up in a thoughtful manner, stepping away from the door to let them both follow her in the hallway. "But in the end we did have a choice. We chose the way that gave us warm food and a roof on our heads, and money-all the money! I can buy a pretty dress and go out on dates all week if I wanted, well, and buy a different dress a day-at least, that's what Jeanette says-and does."
"This-This isn't an act, is it?" Saito asked, warily eyeing Josette as if she had grown a second head.

The holy land doesn't exist anymore it sank. The only thing of value there is a weapons summoning portal and the ritual site for the genocide spell. It isn't livable for large numbers. Its not like its completely wrong the elves might not drink blood and eat babies but apparently they do brew potions that inflict fates worse than deaths on void mages whom are considered devils to them because death would be too merciful and allow the void magic to go to someone else(that the person in question is completely innocent and might be a saint doesn't matter). They also hold a dim view of humanity and they did indeed throw Brimir's entire people out of their own homeland for results of the act of one man that might not even been deliberate but a accident. Its also true even the most powerful of human mages are out classed by elves unless void magic comes into play.
As for Louise views there is nothing inherently wrong with her having faith in her god/gods, brimir and the church, it doesn't really bother me as its a rather central part of her character. Its something that might need tempered but its not something that requires destroying.
