Assistants:
You walked towards Sabrina and took a seat next to her, allowing yourself to relax. She saw you relax with the calm, confident body language and took a moment to emulate it before Chloe's scornful look made her shift to a defensive posture.
You had decided to take a moment to take a look at Chloe, and realized that she was uncomfortable. You were asserting yourself into her social circle that, for a long time, had been upended. She must have also been defensive that you were going to seek to take control of her entire sphere, instead of making yourself subservient to her.
It bumped your possible reflections of her being a psychopath or a sociopath down a few marks, and it had turned it squarely into a very socially stunted, spoiled girl, struggling to maintain control.
You were ashamed of yourself for thinking your new friend was mentally damaged, but then again, who would be your friend? You were an insomniac detective with issues and obsessed with the next case.
Lots of issues too.
"You know Chloe, if you wanted me to sit next to you, you could have asked?" You said, putting the control back onto her perspective, making her think for a moment before she seemed surprised that you were… well putting her in the spot.
"I… I don't need to tell you what to do?" Chloe stated, confused.
She must have never been tricked into thinking for herself without anything to gain. My she may be wonderfully gullible… unless-
"However, you may need to prepare yourself for what we have planned this afternoon." She said as Sabrina smiled, pulling out a notepad. Oh, she was prepared… THat was… good. "Marinette Dupang-Chang, the girl over there." She pointed to the Chinese girl with black hair in two twin tail thingies tied up…
She was a baker's child, you could see the flour under her fingernails, and you would smell the bread coming off of her that was mixed with something fruity. It was a rather strong aroma, even though you barely noticed it.
"She has yet to fully understand the hierarchy of this situation about Adrien." She replied.
You turned to see the blond boy that Chloe was looking at with far more than dreamy eyes… Oh no, she was crushing on him… or was she just overly protective of him because he was a friend of hers.
He was hungry, uncomfortable, but happy.
He needed something to eat, and you realized that whatever reason he was hungry, there was a good reason for someone, but not for him.
And this is coming from someone who should be losing lots of weight due to lack of sleep.
"And that would be?" You asked.
"Hardly important for you to understand." Chloe stated with a scowl.
"I don't follow." You replied.
"Chloe has a plan." Sabrina gave a thumbs up. "A good one."
"Than, would you mind clueing me?" You stated.
"No, there is no reason for you to get involved. You would just make things worse."
You took a moment to feel amazed by what she just said. "Excuse me, Chloe?"
"Arthur." Miss Bustier called your attention. "Could you please focus?"
"Yes, Ma'am." You gave a slight head tilt.
The teacher continued to talk about the Syllabus and the lessons that they would be teaching over the year.
Sabrina gave a small sigh. "Sorry about Chloe, she is always one, controlling, having the plans and… being in charge."
"Does she ever accept anything from you?" You asked.
"Sometimes, but most of the time, she just listens and ignores what I say, because they aren't good ideas, or they are just too…" She huffed.
"What?" You asked.
"Chloe doesn't like not being in charge. So any threat to her authority, she takes it as a personal attack, both to her pride, and her sense of authority." Sabrina replied. "She hates being treated as lesser than what she truly is."
"A spoiled rich girl with no true friends, lots of money, and no sense?" You asked, being careful to whisper those words to Sabrina.
Sabrina turned away, shocked that you could say such words. "No… Just-"
"Sabrina, be honest with me, and yourself… Chloe enjoys your company, but also uses you for her own gain." You stated.
Were you really going to say this right out of the gate? Yes. Was she going to need to answer you?
No.
But you were going to plant the seeds of much-needed… things into her head.
You needed… wanted… hoped, this partnership you knew was possibly growing, needed to have people grow.
You yourself included, but… these two… were not people you would trust in any case. They were spoiled, childish, lazy, unaccustomed to stress… or was that just Chloe?
But Sabrina was… too timid, too needy, she wanted to be a follower, and chose to follow Chloe.
"She's my friend, despite what everyone else says about her and me. I'm not blind to it." Sabrina said. "And I know you aren't either."
"People change Arthur. Even if it takes time to do so."
You doubted Chloe had such self-awareness. But who knows… maybe she could surprise you.
Hmm… well said.

School was finally out a few hours later, and now, you had time.
What do you do?:
[]Go to the Grand Hotel: Chloes' Home is on the top two floors of the Grand Hotel. Wow, you never knew you had a rich friend before that wasn't hiring you to be a detective.
[]To a CASE!: You are going to grab your two assistants… could you call them that properly? And bring them to a case!? A small one, not one that should be too difficult.
[]Meet The Class: You want to meet your classmates. The classmates who are… confused about you at every single turn.
[]Go Home: Pappy will not expect you to come home… Maybe you can try and sleep.
[]A Personal Curiosity: Ladybug and Cat Noir. Paris' Two superheroes… you want to do more, maybe offer some help.
