The Nephilim Crusade (Helldivers 2 Inspired Riot Quest)

To everyone saying that they "actually do have enough EM":
Tier 2 Augments are not normally 6EM, if you look at the Turn 2 After-Action, they're usually 10EM. The Augments are approximately half-off for this turn only due to an omake I made, and that half-cost was already calculated, though I can somewhat understand the confusion, as it isn't transmitted the best that the costs are already halved in the EM costs table, which is likely why so many people have accidentally halved their augments twice.

Are Nephilim given names when they emerge from the lab or are they given designation numbers or something like that instead?
Not official answer obviously, but been personally headcannoning so far that our player names are the names of our respective Nephilim, with the reason for them being that the names for each Nephilim have been, at least so far, literally just randomly generated by whatever Servitor the scientists had on-hand, since they didn't know until recently if we were actually gonna be a successful experiment, and thus didn't bother wasting time coming up with names for us personally.

I should ask, actually: Have we seen the Crustaceans deploy any sort of unmanned ground vehicle or air vehicle?

I went with a bit of a super-80's scifi vibe writing up the Recognition Guide, but I could definitely slot a few drones in there.
Mmmm, maybe a few aerial or sub drones for scouting.

Are Nephilim given names when they emerge from the lab or are they given designation numbers or something like that instead?
Designations, often just batch numbers. More successful or noticeable ones might gain nicknames - to say nothing for what the propaganda department might create. That's an omake idea actually

The Crustacians would be more tactical and would not be reckless in their offensives unless they have something to gain in a strategic sense in the war, the Greenfolk would not care about tactics or strategy as they would try to spread out as much as possible.

Man, there's gonna be a lot more fronts for us to fight on this time, huh? Fingers crossed we don't get dumpstered due to being split up twice as much as the previous campaign.

Hey as a small aside, was randomly looking at my sheet, and just noticed that it looks like you increased my Defense specialty, even though I'd chosen not to increase it yet (since I'm currently still debating which specialties I actually wanna go for, or what my "end build" should even look like).

Came up with another item concept:

Phalanx Shield (Level 3 CQC Equipment)
+1 Dice, +1 Dice when Defending, +1 Death Roll needed to Die for each other Player equipped with Phalanx Shield at same deployment
Fighting as one, we stand tall; Fighting as one, we stand firm as a wall

I'm going to planet number 5 of the Crustacians, the planet is not fully under their control, and now I got extra water so desert world ain't gonna screw me over

…can capitalise on this disorder. Although there has been no confirmation on the next Crusade, if we can prove the effectiveness of my combat protocols we may receive support for a full push towards Samaria or The World Of Red Seas. Our window of opportunity is likely slim - alien savages they may be, but the Crabs will not stay scattered for long…

Crusade Force South Internal Memo, from Ophanim Peter

…insufficient care taken in safeguarding the world bestowed upon him by Our Great Lord. Because of his ineptitude, the Green Folk have gained a foothold upon this world that shall require full military attention to remove. For his actions, he shall suffer excommunication at dawn, alongside his heads of staff, including the local militia's commanding officer…

Ministry of Security Report, from Inspector De Morillo

Although they are physically strong, the Crabs only have ten limbs! It is easy to attack in a large group and overwhelm them. Simply aim your bayonets at the weak joints, and you'll quickly bring them down!

Inspirational Poster printed in Heavenly Host Barracks

Week 1, Month 2, Year 40,333 of Our Great Lord

Greetings [Nephilim]. Seraphims Micheal and Uriel have declared that you and your fellows are ready for widespread deployment, across both worlds under threat and those that are being reclaimed. Despite the victorious defences of Laetitia and Witchpool, our foes yet remain abroad, clinging to worlds stolen from Our Great Lord. We must push on.

On the northern front, our fleets are pushing from Laetitia towards both Moseia (8:1) and Legio (15:4), so that we may deny the Green Folk easy access into the Middle Sectors. However the insidious plant people have launched their own attacks - one from both Legio and Figlos (15:5) towards Gehenn (15:3), and on the other side of their captured territory from Gnashtooth (8:2) towards Edena (8:3). Both worlds already have a sizable infestation, having grown under the lacking eyes of the worlds' former Principalities.

As Gehenn has been divinated to be of greater importance, one of the front's Hosts has been dedicated towards its defence - while the two remaining Hosts have been split between Moseia and Legio. Because the latter world is being used to attack Gehenn, attacking it and destroying the spore spreading Launcher Trees would slow the invasion.

In the south, the Crustacians are reeling from their failed evacuation of Witchpool, and have currently have not launched any new invasions. Despite the suggestions of Ophanim Peter, the Ministry of Defence has decided not to push upon Samaria, as the world is heavily fortified. Instead, by attacking Uz (11:5) and Sheol (12:1) we will split their forces in two, further weakening them. Two Hosts have been deployed to Sheol, while the final one attacks Uz.

Although there is no active crusade, Our Great Lord expects you to fight with the same fervour and dedication. Should you die, may your last thoughts be of Him, who guides our every step.

Blessings be upon you, and amen.
