The Lonely Lioness - Cersei Lannister Quest

[X] Send him to Qyburn for experimentation
You know what we sent Pycelle as goat food let's see if a potent combination of dragon and king's blood would do good. Traitors who reject our mercy should know the price of their treachery.

[X] Send him to Qyburn for experimentation
-[X] After announcing to the court that he will be sent to the black cells to rot

We ought not announce to everyone we're going to do some cruel mad science, and saying that we're sending him to the dungeons would explain why he wasn't at a public execution. Besides, if he's never seen again, he'd hardly be the first to die from the poor conditions

Edit: sending him to the black cells is already the default story

That's the default story that the court will be fed if you send him to Qyburn. Cersei ain't insane enough to publicly acknowledge that she has people tortured to death. Yet.

Fine, I have been convinced. I'm changing my vote to:
[X] Execute him, then give his corpse to Qyburn.

Stannis has a fire witch and a eldritch god.......well; we have a necromancer.
All ahead full into madness lads.

...fuck It, changing my vote. We are fighting against bad odds, not including Stannis on His way into becoming an Anime Protagonist, and Dany and her Dragons that should take the scene any moment now.

Are you being for real? We can feed Qyburn any amount of petty criminals nobody will miss if we want a pet necromancer - using that as a rationale to torture captured enemies to death is one of the dumbest excuses for sadism I've ever witnessed.

Honestly we are in a pretty good position. At least overall. Got the Tyrells and Tully's on our side while basically getting control over the entire Crownlands. Still got issues with Stannis, Renly, Tywin, Lysa and a few Targs groups. So makes me curious on why people feel that having Qyburn experiment on this specific guy will make all the difference?

Come again? Our position hangs by a thread, which is being able to offer Joffrey's hand to Margaery Tyrell. If Tywin captures him, which is eminently possible, we will be unable to do that.

Granted, learning the secrets of necromancy as they pertain to (maybe) King's blood will probably not help with that. But if we have no future, we might as well ride the train we're on to its crazy end.

Torturing a surrendered enemy to death is a good way to encourage our enemies to fight to the last. If Qyburn truly needs test subjects, as Taut_Templar has said, there are acceptable targets that are of lower risk (mainly because they are not nobles).

Um the Tyrells specifically want to puppet Joffrey so if we loose him gg and the Tullys are currently in the process of being usurped thanks to dear old dad. Any help from the former comes with so many caveats and the latter is dependent on us for help vs being really able to provide much.

[X] Execute him. One pretender less and the small-folk will appreciate the spectacle.

Its very close. I suggest those who are voting for other options decide if public spectacle execution is an acceptable compromise to tossing him to Qyburn.

fiiiiiiiiiiine
I change it again
[X] Execute him, then give his corpse to Qyburn.

He's almost certainly not an actual Targ, to be perfectly blunt.

Eh, he is probably Valyrian enough to do something and otherwise not very useful. He is also lowborn so no one will much care what we do with him, remember how Many fires Aerys set before he decided to burn high nobles and we are not even making a public spectacle of it. The point is that our pet mad scientist work in secret.

[X] Execute him, then give his corpse to Qyburn.

I actually do prefer this, we get the propaganda value of the execution and there's still the chance of Qyburn doing/discovering something useful

Torturing large numbers of petty criminals is not less sadistic then torturing one Targ. Commoners are not acceptable targets. I will not tolerate this kind of "those people are worth less" discussion in my thread.

This is the one and only warning I will give.
