If a part of it needs interaction from Kurenai, ping me. I'm guessing most people will just do straightforward introductions.
After introductions are done, I'll 1) have Kurenai monologue a bit, 2) turn to y'all for a round of reactions, then 3) another round or two of interactions before calling it an IC day and ending the team meeting. I'm planning to keep things moving along, but we'll see how it goes.

The Chunnin Exam Omake: Our Rps teams in the canon chunnin exams.
(Part 1 of 3 of Part 1 of 2)
The first exam had been easy for my team, we had the intelligence and information gathering skills mastered that it was simply testing to see that we had at all.
The Second though, this worries me an open battle arena is extremely deadly. I look to my two teammates and smile lightly, not that they can see it. They have grown so much and I trust them. I suppose this is as good a time as any. As we wait for the exam to officially start I pass a scroll to each teammate. Sealed within is clothing in there own style, except armored and reinforced, spider silk and small areas like the heart with an additional layer of hard beetle scale mail all materials provide by my clans chakra enhanced bugs. Light but strong enough to make a real difference. I unseal my own set, it is unlike theirs which were made to be as light as possible to be no hindrance to there existing fighting style. I have to take off weights from inside my jacket, weights I was wearing because my armor has weight to. Thicker silk and layers of beetle shells make the chest piece and arm guards worthy of being called real armor. I don't know how it competes with a chunin vest, but from my fathers interest and encouragement, I think rather well. I switch out to a heavier reinforced jacket as well.
It's striking how much I have changed in the last few months, a gourd to carry more bugs, a sword, armor and an armored coat over it. The weight training to stop it from slowing me down was critical and now I feel the difference, the armor is actually a little lighter than the weights were. I'm ready.
We step off and with a gesture my teammates follow, I'm the one who bugged everyone in the exam. There is an odd group near us 4 people, I gesture and Hanabi checks it out with her bloodline, someone with massive power is beating the shit out of Suaske and his team. We look at each other and a few nods are exchanged there our allies first even if this is a contest we will not let them be killed by whom ever this monster is. We charge into the fray and holy shit that is a giant snake.

To clarify: What I mean is that I really like opportunities such as this, for introducing fun to the RP. After all, the three genin are fairly well-adjusted and motivated already. So I'll always be on the lookout for prime opportunities to inject unexpected consequences. And it would still be a power-up. Just with some shenanigans at first.

Certain areas are reinforced with layers of armored beetle shells plates making overlapping scale mail. The forearms, the heart and large parts of the legs are covered that way, areas that we block with or were a strike could be much more fatal. There not perfect, for them I sacrificed being much heavier armor for being light enough not to impair them. Only I started wearing weights within my coat so I could use much heavier armor without being slowed down. They notice that the measurements are precise, my bugs had enveloped them a thousand times in training I was...familiar with there bodies. Hanabi simply shrugs, in her clan everyone had seen each other naked, it hardly makes a difference to her. My small blush from the thought becomes much more visible as she simply starts undressing.I explode bright red on my face. Ah yes she is comfortable, I quickly turn around and unseal my own armor. It is layers of scales all over, and a spider silk jacket to hide that I am so heavily armored.
I wonder how these compare to a chunin vest,my father had helped me test my armor but I know nothing of the villages vest. Multiple clan members came and tried to destroy the armor or its prototypes with ninjutsu, it gave solid protection where it covered from all the elements spider silk and beetles are both remarkably resilient. Water was the most effective as there is little protection from several hundred or thousand pounds of brute force. Still two factors make me okay with that, one, it still helped, it was clearly far far better than having been hit without wearing it and two, there both water types so hopefully they can best counter those jutsu.

We have worked together a lot and Kurenai has drilled us into a team, it only takes a few glances for us to communicate what we are going to do. We run towards the fight, exam or not these were friends with a real chance of dying and we would not be ninjas of the leaf if we did not rush to save our allies lives.
I don't even regret the decision when a giant snake knocks me through a tree.

Essentially what it is.
Except you only have the outer layer in certain areas.
At least at first, mostly as weight concerns and because being the heavily armored one is kinda the direction I'm feeling. I'm sure my earth affinity will come up with it later to improve upon it.
One of the goals of the armor is for it to remain light enough that you don't need to train to not be slowed down by it.
So while you two are training in what directions you go. Part of my personal training will be learning to move at full speed and make the most out of my much heavier variation of my armor.
