Hero summoning ritual
You mean the Isekai spell. Yeah that exists. The guys and gals who get summoned are weird but competent most of the time when not complaining about there not being like there viduo game whatever that is...My brothers mother was one of the summoned actully...we never did find out what happened to her....
legends about talking Swords that choose their own masters.
There are thousands but none are in kingdom...not for lack of trying and looking mind you!
Also wonder how many half-human hybrids there are plus maybe what our neighbors policies for them are.
There are thousands of them. My brother was not the only one with a fetish! Karaira used to be pretty Shade Superior before the civil war. Now who knows! Savia was founded after slave liberation so yeah...And that gods cursed State of Eotis is the one who Savia rebelled and now they are even worse!!!

Indeed any questions about the setting?
Wouldn't there be witch hunter guilds in the surrounding kingdoms which might take somewhat negatively to us culling the ones here?

Well the Isekai grandmother certainly explains his late majesties tastes. What was the equally deceased grandfather like? Any chance of further relations we might call upon in our time of need?

Any of the three warring empires particularly infamous for backing rival claimants to the thrones of foreign nations?

How old is the late king and when did he marry the queen?

Wouldn't there be witch hunter guilds in the surrounding kingdoms which might take somewhat negatively to us culling the ones here?
There are not many witch hunters left well not the fanatic ones anyway
What was the equally deceased grandfather like?
He was known as the Demon Slayer and was one of the major commanders in the 5th Inferno War.
Any chance of further relations we might call upon in our time of need?
We have a branch family that rules the Aserian colonies
Any of the three warring empires particularly infamous for backing rival claimants to the thrones of foreign nations?
Only when it benefits them. But Rasanian Emperor is marrying off his kids to various kingdoms in his sphere of influence. Hell I still get offers from him
