Anyways, my traitorous hands have already sketched something and I got some plans brewing in my skull. From what I hear, Slaangor in 40k basically work like either regular IG ogryn (generics) or bullgryn (bestigors) except being faster. And apparently thanks to their Marks and level of mutation, they can be summoned if they are given a specific spot in the warp to wait in for the portal (although I hear this was mostly a crunch thing done to make Tzaangors play nicer with Tzeenchian Legiones Daemonica armies and just got rolled out to the others for fairness sake).

So I will have some units roughly as easily available as daemonettes that can both take a hit and do shootbang. I thiiink that in bigger Killteam stuff I can have two fireteams, so it'd be one unit of daemonettes and one of slaangor.

Yes, yes, I know. Grabbing some CSM would be better if I want shootbangs and tankiness, but I really like the flexibility being able to just summon shit gives me. Also, I like cows and I will be touching them.

Gundam tech truly can't be normal for five consecutive seconds. It's not Star Trek bad where putting two drives together may as well open a hole to another dimension with everyone's evil twins, but still.

Because that's a thing that happens when someone tried to strap 2 Warp Drives together then run it around a star.

The Twin Drive System, it was among the new stuff given to Celestial Being alongside the Trans-Am System when Alejandro Corner, the Season 1 main antagonist and puppet of Ribbons Almark, the real villain, triggered a trap after shooting the cryogenic body of Aeolia Schenberg as the founder had made contingencies just in case some schmuck tried to subvert Celestial Being and the Plan.

Also there are some limits of the Twin Drive System, the 00 Gundam cannot go Trans-Am without the 0 Raiser fighter jet attached to the GN Drives of 0 Gundam (the first generation of Celestial Being Gundams) and Exia or else they overload and severely shut down.

Ribbons Almark, aka Evil Amuro Ray voiced by Toru Furuya himself, got his own Twin Drive System for his Reborns Gundam/Ribbons Cannon, a machine that can switch between a Gundam and a Guncannon at the same time, thanks to Anew Returner who was his sleeper agent within Celestial Being to steal the data about the Twin Drive System and give it to him when her mission is complete.

Indeed, non-flight capable mobile suits can only "fly" in space where there's no gravity there.

It worked for the Guntank piloted by Hayato Kobayashi, fellow pilot with Amuro Ray, in Mobile Suit Gundam 1979 show.

How would you even justify Chaos Marines giving a fuck about Galatea in that campaign, anyway? Also them being present but unable to just immediately evac you to a planet that you can survive on.

Witch from Mercury is its own show, not related to Gundam 00.

The setting of WFM is apparently the Spacenoids are the elites while the Earthnoids are the downtrodden and oppressed.

Apparently, GUND-Arm is an experimental technology that can allow a person to connect with the machine and be in synchrony together. But the compatibility is a hit or miss at times, hence it was banned.

Also there is no clear power source of what runs the mobile suits in Witch From Mercury at all. Unless I'm wrong and I missed something out.

Welcome to Star Trek, it's got just as much "Lol, it's basically magic" as 40k, but it uses deflector dishes instead of the Warp. And mirror universes instead of daemons. And phasers instead of lasguns.

You get the picture, I think.

A pity they don't have anything for mechs, really, the Voth hardly count at all.

Lasguns are actually neat, I love the shitbricks. Phasers are lazy bullshit that do whatever the writers need them to for a given episode. Same for tricorders and fabricators.

I will categorize this under "agreeing to disagree" for phasers (although it is annoying that they'll come up with settings for the phasers, than not bother to explain why, for example, they're not using the wide beam settings when fighting large groups), and I must have missed tricorders being used for nonsensical capabilities (AFAIK they're just "very versatile sensor packs + portable computers" in most iterations of Trek).

That said, yeah, replicators are entirely capable of being some spicy bullshit when you stop and think about what they should be capable of.

And for the love of all that's holy, do not get me STARTED on how the suits constantly insist on shoving visual continuity into the goddamn forever box...
 
I dunno from where people are pulling "Trans-Am lasts for an hour" if that thing is explicitly seen lasting no more than some minutes and people needing to time super mode carefully for maximum effect.

You do not want to know how long it took me to get my suit immune to the Magnum's backlash. I ended up having to work with P.Paints, clear plastic scratch builds and other bullshit just to get to use it without blowing myself up.

before, I was using it at 25% power, still packed a big punch compared to regular Beam Rifles with 20 shots instead of the 6 before reload, but didn't melt my suit when using it.

Also, if you're wondering since its supposed to be a 6-shooter, GBNO let's you recharge your E-caps overtime. Roughly 1 every 10-15 seconds.

I also janked up a way to be able to dial its power between full blast and 10%, 25%, 50%. In theory, the flintlock is my actual beam rifle while the Mag is my 'F U' button. But since I constantly change my loadouts having the option for weaker shots is nice.

Beats me. Might be a lore thing, but in game, it lasts... 30 seconds at most? Up to 90 if you throttle the stat boosts accordingly, or if your a really good builder.

That should thus allow a fusion powered GN-drive-Tau with two condenser tanks and a Stargazer drive ring or two.
And with Red Frame it's Powered Shoulders & Mars Jacket..., it might even get close to a certain other shape.

Now, how long before a game problem leaves her with a slight problem, after logging out?

Was considered and discarded because it wouldn't look or move right. She can pad herself up a bit with rubbery resin, though. Although it's largely not necessary because I put in some serious work making sure her chest would sit on the perfect middle road to be able to wear both outfits that emphasize it and ones meant for flatter girls. It isn't quite as good as having dial-a-cup, but outside of extremes in either end it works perfectly fine and it is the best I could do.

Best she can do is stick her legs together with resin or make some hoove-like sheathes with the stuff. While she is very flexible, she isn't double-jointed (it was considered and discarded because it was very niche for cosplay and left her looking weird most of the time). The mermaid tail would actually look somewhat fine because I made her skeleton semi-cartilaginous, so the whole thing bends instead of just the knees and ankles.

All 100% doable. Although I don't really like how Asari look, the head structures look like they should be tentacles, but are actually rigid and remind me of a badly gelled hair. So probably not going to cosplay as them unless it's some of the hypothetical Asari crossbreed looks:

Only within some limits, admittedly. I hear that with sorcerous biomancy more could be done, but it won't happen for a long, loooong time. I got her absolutely perfect and I don't want to mess it up with some sloppy psykery. Besides, I'm more focused on really getting the hang of regular biomancy rn, since it lets me LARP as a budget Volt.

I know pretty much none of these and I woke up with a bad headache, so I'll put a pin on it. Also poke @Hastar about what all of that means.

I may try to do that kitbash in GBNO as practice for the black magic I'll need to do with the poor Quad Wing. But then again, it may be better to just practice with a bunch of Quad Wings. We'll see.



Happy to see someone taking an interest in my avatar, though. I put a hell of a lot of work into her. Feel free to send me suggestions for cosplay, I will tag you with the pics if I end up going for it.
