Generally you don't get to see the rolls when playing a video game, that's a tabletop thing (though traditionally, even that was what GM screens were for.) You do get to see the damage result and usually whether or not it was a critical hit, though.Normally I don't like seeing rolls because they feel too gamey, but considering the premise of this quest I'd like Arisa to be aware of the rolls.
And there's even a lot more player rolling in modern gaming culture than there was originally intended to be by game designers. "Make a spot/listen/perception check" are words that DMs were never meant to speak.
