The Gamer (Lyrical Nanoha/The Gamer)

You got a good roll for items in the vendor. Admittedly, a better roll for weapons than armor but...yay for the dice rollerAnd hey, maybe you'll actually survive? Ehehehe...And points to veekie for the only one actually doing [redacted]. [redacted] write-ins don't use any time or cost anything, except maybe your continued health.
I'll see about getting Nanoha and Suzuka's stat sheet up here, but. Nanoha has high Int and Luk, with a decent strength/vit. Agi is meh. Suzuka has high strength and agi. Somewhat low vit/int, low luk.If you know your about to enter a [redacted] then why wouldn't you make a [redacted]? I would have told you, but hard mode (also, I was looking forward to making the [redacted] sooo bad.)
hora hora.

Also, you guys failed the roll to get your fireball attack. So, you were interrupted before you could learn it. Unless you'd like to try to create it in the heat of the battle...

You still have Energy Ball, but that's the only Essence attack you have.

So is our basic food based healing item (as purchased from any of a number of venders) yakiimo (roast sweet potato, a Japanese favorite streetfood)?

Oh...well. It's embarrassing, but I totally forgot they were in Japan. But sure! I'll research Japanese food if you ever actually want food in your inventory.

This is hard mode. EVERYONE needs defense except for the casting dedicated character.
Your plan gives boots(1)+helmet(2)+leggings(2)=+5VIT or +shields(4)=+9VIT
My plan gives +10VIT to everyone and +14VIT to Suzuka
Cloaks have the worst VIT/$ ratio, noticeably worse than breastplates.
Also, I'd kinda expect meditation to fail if we get hit at all.

[X] Veekie.

Now this is getting interesting, adding them on, bringing them in, getting allies rather than going it alone.

[X] Knuckles (+8 STR) 2-H $15-us
Staff (+4 STR/+9 INT) 2-H $20- Nanoha
Potato Gun (+10 STR/+10 INT) Chance Knockdown $40-Suzuka
Potatoes (100 ct) $2-Suzuka

[x] Everybody
3xBasic Cloak (+3 VIT) ------------------------------ $5
3xWood Helmet (+2 VIT) --------------------------- $3
3xWood Breastplate (+5 VIT) --------------------- $8
3xWood Leggings (+2 VIT) ------------------------- $3
3xWood Boots (+1 VIT) ----------------------------- $1

plan [X]notgreat
Code:
         Nanoha Arisa Suzuka
VIT 10 10 14
STR 4 4 6
INT 9 9
sum: +66

plan veekie
Code:
       Nanoha Arisa Suzuka
VIT 9 13 13
STR 4 9 6
INT 9
sum: +63

Just for comparison. Both plans use up all $100 of our money.

edit: @edmantgoog that plan costs $137. We only have $100.

You're not comparing the important part, which is that veekie's plan has Arisa using a sword and yours has her doubling up weapons with Nanoha.
I figured that was obvious. The fact is, staffs are clearly the weapon to be used if you want to use magic. Nanoha has to use a staff due to her preferences, but we can choose to either go melee-focused or magic-focused. Veekie's plan was for us to act as a tank and draw aggro, whereas mine focuses more on just giving us options and a high DPS.

With meditation our mana pool is only a limiter per-battle and we get 25 shots off even ignoring the possibility of natural mana regen AND the almost-doubling of our INT (from 10.5 to 19.5)

Yes, having a sword is nice. But is it worth having a significantly worse INT score? In Nanoha, magic is everything. We want to get as many magic boosts as we can.

Anyway, what's wrong with doubling up on weapons? It's not like we're going to meet some giant rat that's immune to staffs, magic, and knives.

You're right that magic is everything, but we can do melee AND magic. There's no reason why we can't do both and the setting has entire schools of magic based around it.

And with Gamer's Body and Gamer's Mind, Arisa is the best suited to playing tank. She's more or less immune to exhaustion and fear and all sorts of other nasty things that the others aren't.
