Just a quick aside, would 'double-entry book-keeping' be a valid innovation? It's a really 'boring' upgrade but I can't see how we'll ever have a clean and effective civil service without it, since it'll cut down on any corruption and waste by virtue of simply having inputs and outputs of $ be tracked. Also, it'll probably allow us to get a bank running easier in the future, which I really want. No sense relying on Braavos' good graces.

And I am afraid I have been bitten by a very rabid plot bunny and started writing another enormous fanfic, which I will start posting...somewhere as soon as I figure out how to edit the maps properly.

So this is going on hiatus for a bit.

What's the fanfic about? Peggy Sue? AU? Self Insert?

And which fandom? Naruto, Marvel Comics?

And it's me doing a fairly in-depth rewrite of Martin's worldbuilding (adding depth to the faith of the Old Gods, more Citadels, making the kingdoms more distinct, etc.) with a focus on the North and an AU.
