So I haven't said anything for a bit because it felt a bit awkward to make another post when I was the last one to post and I didn't have an update, but I've left this long enough to wear that a bit thin even for me. So, quick pair of updates:

1. The quest is not dead and the second update is still being written. I've wound up going back into college classes angling for a second degree while Everything is going on with the rest of the world, and that's eaten into my time and energy for writing in favour of class papers and such. Additionally, the size of the update is... well, checking just now, I'm over 2,500 words and at best maybe halfway to two-thirds done, by my estimation. I think we may be going for rarer but meatier updates for this one, call it a hunch. I also lost Margarethe's voice for a bit and that held me up, but I think I've got that part sorted now. So that's where things are at there. I'll try to get the update out soon!

2. After thinking over the discussion of the skill pip notation system immediately above here some more after my last post, I realized I'd made a mistake: I'd forgotten to put an "above average" segment between "average" and "mastery". This might explain the jarring shift between the two levels a bit. I'll be editing an updated version of the notation system into the threadmarked post about it.

2.5. Additionally, to better reflect where I mean the skills to be relative to the updated scale, all existing skill pips will be increased by one. This will put Chisa at 6 pips Mechanics, 5 pips Piloting, and 4 pips Shooting and Brawling.
