8 million Dutch + 8 million Belgians + 7 million Germans in the Rheinprovinz, which this Netherlands owns. It's not a very harmonious population, but it's still 23 million.

Warmer than OTL, but it's still somewhat strained; Hungary and Bulgaria were on opposite sides of the Great War, and there's still a lot of Romanian revanchism regarding Carpathia.

I am curious to that. Although I doubt that the owners of the Rhineland in TTL themselves are managing to keep its high standards. I suspect the West German Economy is very much dependent on both French and Prussian investment.
