The Drums of War: Sequel to Turn of the Century

Is it a democracy? How powerful is it economically. What do you think it would be population wise?
  1. Very much the opposite. It's a kooky pseudo-monarchy led by a "Supreme Protector."
  2. It's reasonably resilient economically, but its isolation has weakened it as of late.
  3. A little over 11 million or so.

So Cdrone just said he's not feeling this game and offered me Prussia-Poland via PM. . .Does anyone want to take Hungary if I accept? I've left her in good shape. . .

EDIT: He just said he's fine. IDK what the deal is now.

Ok, U.S. election results are up. Was going to hold off at first since it technically takes place in the first couple of weeks of 1937, but not sure when the new turn will be and will be busy later tonight. @inquisition said it was okay to post them early.

I kinda have to drop out as well. Nothing much is happening with Sweden so I thought I would let you guys know.

This looks like fun, though I don't know if I'll have time to go back and read up on ALL of that.

Is there anything open?

There's a few regional powers open, depends on what you're looking for.

In Europe I think Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Norway, Croatia, Greece, Bulgaria are free, or potentially one of the Ukrainian factions or the Serbian remnants if you're interested in those.

Egypt, Syria, Rashid Arabia in the Middle East

In Asia the Qing or Chinese Communists, there's also an independent Maratha state on the Indian Subcontinent.

Argentina in the Americas

There's quite a few nations that are claimed but have had only minimal or no player activity since the game started, though that may have more to do with exam season. I'd not consider any of those available unless @inquisition says so

Did you and @ChineseDrone ever settle on who is playing Prussia-Poland? The new US administration will have some diplomacy when the turn formally rolls over (hopefully sometime this weekend)

I think we need to get a new turn soon. This is on verge of dying. There seem to be a number of people still wanting to play.

Okay, serious time.

I apologize for my inactivity the last couple of days. I've had less time than expected for this forum since I returned home for the summer, mostly because the job opportunity I thought I had nailed down slipped away and now I'm looking for a new one. I'm going to try to get the Chinese war reesults and then the end of the turn up tonight, since people still want to play. In the meantime, i'd like to ask the major nations--specifically @Carro Armato as France and @Sidheach as Eurasia--to at least do a rudimentary tunpost, just so I know where you stand for the end of the turn.

Since Chinesedrone doesn't want Prussia anyymore, is there anyone willing to take it up?

I'll take it if someone will pick up Hungary. I left Hungary in Good Shape. . .

TBH, we need a Prussia-Poland more than Hungary at this point

That Serbia looks like fun... I don't suppose anyone can give me a brief rundown?

Serbia was on the losing side of the Great War (~30 years ago) and was dismembered in the aftermath. See the 'Bathory Plan for Serbia' near the top of the OP for details.

KoT is right that it's not really a viable player at this point.

He offered Prussia-Poland to me. I will be taking it up.
