    • When the Crimson cog asked the Qing Empire for the right to trade in Chinese ports the Qing accepted the offer and grant the Crimson Cog trading rights in Zhuhai a town just north of Macau. It was an understatement to say that Portugal did not like this new development as they took a time to send a very hostile message to company headquarters in Brussels it reads as such.

    His Majesty the King of Portugal's government hereby must insist that the shareholders of the Belgian Company Crimson cog hereby cease at this point onward there hostile actions against the Kingdom of Portugal on land and sea or there will be serious consequences we hereby request that you only trade in the port of Zhuhai.

    As for the United Kingdom they very much don't seem to care at all about our deals in China for now.
