The Blood of the Martyrs is the seed of the Imperium - Imperial Guard General Quest [WH40K]

@NSchwerte if a regiment performs sertein action more regulary would they be getting a chance to again take a tradition

Because if Master of Confusion or Breakthrough Specialists win i would like to have the chance that the other choice can appear again in the future

because these 2 traits working together would make this regiment pain to fight

Yes, regiments will continue to accrue traditions. Each regiment can only have 4 traits to make them managable for me but they will be combined if they reach that limitation

@NSchwerte it would may be a good idea to have a informational post regarding the state of all our troops where they are posted there traits culture and lore about there world of origins

And maybe any world maps like you did with one of the Nostrega worlds

I mean, most of them are already available, but to summarize:

-6 Pfadian Infantry Regiments (245th, 246th, 247th, 248th, 249th, 250th).
Of these, 249th has bonuses for having been part of Dohnany's command during the stabilization of Nostrega Primus. All of them share Pfadian Training, which "ensures this regiment always knows how to react to the enemy", which sure sounds like "cannot be caught by surprise".
Additionally, the 250th (Dohnany's former regiment) is composed entirely of veterans, though with us having been "promoted" and dragging Kanopka with us, they are currently suffering from a lack of senior officers, resulting in reduced combat effectiveness.

Current Assignments:
245th: Garrison (Nostrega I Hive Gamma: This is where Vandire happened.)
246th: Garrison (Nostrega I Eastern Wilderness)
247th: Garrison (Nostrega I Hive Alpha: This is where Jaghatai and Tuono are.)
248th: Garrison (Nostrega I Hive Beta)
249th: Garrison (Nostrega Primus Canzanelca Central)
250th: Garrison (Nostrega Primus Hive Alpha)

-3 Nostregan Penal Regiments (2nd, 7th, 8th)
Notably, all three of these are receiving bonuses for having been part of Dohnany's command during the stabilization of Nostrega Primus.

Current Assignments:
2nd: Garrison (Nostrega Primus Canzanelca East)
7th: Garrison (Nostrega Primus Valksia)
8th: Garrison (Nostrega Primus Hive Alpha: Yes, the 250th Pfadian Infantry is there too. It looks like Alpha Hives will typically require two regiments to garrison it all.)

-2 Davrian Rough Rider Regiments (27th, 35th)
Neither of these currently have any notable traits, though obviously this will change soon enough.

Current Assignments:
27th: Operation Vandire (Nostrega I Hive Gamma)
35th: Assist Arbiters (Nostrega I: no specific location)

-2 Behrian Artillery Regiments (115th, 211th)
Neither of these currently have any notable traits either.

Current Assignments:
115th: Garrison (Nostrega I Eastern Cities: This is where Fuoco should be.)
211th: Garrison (Nostrega I Hive Delta)

-1 Nostregan Infantry Regiment (1st)
This is specifically Passero's regiment. As Passero is the current Brigadier General of Nostrega Primus, this is probably not leaving Nostrega Primus any time soon. Also gets the bonus for having been part of Dohnany's command during the stabilization of Nostrega Primus.

Current Assignment: Garrison (Nostrega Primus Canzanelca South)

-1 Angraxian Tank Regiment (6th)
Alfonix's regiment that bravely charged into an Underhive with the expected results of a tank regiment charging blindly into an Underhive. While they don't have any notable traits, they are pretty thoroughly mauled and are taking combat penalties until they can recover. They're unlikely to recover before we're done here.
Current Assignment: Garrison (Nostrega I Hive Alpha)

At least one should be freed up from Nostrega Primus at the end of the turn, but our options for freeing up units on Nostrega I are limited: We have a Political Goal to raise no more than two PDF regiments on Nostrega I for the time being, due to the fact that building them gives the Reformists more legitimacy. This is kind of an issue when the Reformists are largely opposed to us.

...We're probably going to have to work on winning them over Diplomatically sometime soon. Hopefully Kanopka will have less to do next turn.

I really cant understand why people voted for them getting power by doing that minstery of war by doing that we are being fucked over it

We should in our next turn really politicaly inpower passero's faction in order to combat them if we built new PDF or when we Appoint the minster choose a capable loyalist from her group

I mean, I can understand it pretty easily: The status quo was to leave things in the power of someone who's already burnt out the PDF on blatant power grabs, and the other options were "The PDF will be loyal to the nobles, not the Imperium", "Highly controversial and likely to piss people off", and "Keep the PDF separate from the nobles so that some random noble can't use it to make a power grab".

There was some shit choices yeah but instead giving it to a capable and loyal faction controversial it may have been

We instead gave it over to the side that started the whole mess them and the corrupt nobles both

Now we are in a diffuclt position of not being very able to free up our troops

I say it again we need to demper them and uplift passero's group in our next voting Turn

And now i think about it we also need to seek out some leads on that cell that attacked Alfonix he left a lot of stuff behind

And i wonder if they are being salvage by them

I mean if we gave it back to the previous PDF then it would be incompetent and die like lemmings whenever they faced either the rebels or any Xenos or pirate raid. Meanwhile if we gave it to the Nobles that would just be asking for a civil war between the different houses. In the Imperium they regularly use their own house guards to engage each other in open warfare, do we really want to give them millions strong armies to let them duke it out with each other. Despite giving it to a faction that is opposed to us for now, we need to look to the future. We can win them over to our side or we can make sure to slowly purge them and replace them with loyalists. The point is, do we want an army like the ones in Iraq and Afghanistan or do we want one like 2022 Ukraine or the IDF during the six days war.

[X] Master of Confusion
This regiment is at home in the chaos of war, striking at vital locations while their enemies are confused. This includes selecting the weakest link, coordinating their own operations and fading away into the fog of war.
