So the wall it is.
Just to give an example:
The Tree would have created something that could literally be the foundation of all great works. A single unified system to manage the entirety of reality as everything would be connected to it. Though the downside is that if something effects the tree it effects all of reality.
The Sun would have formed a core of endless material that does not dependent on the ever-changing chaos. The perfect essence to craft everything. It is obedient, stable, and moves towards perfection and the ideal state rather than chaos. Perefection, but the problem is that it would lack the dynamism of chaos wrought materials.
Anyway, writing.

Possibly. This was the result of a Nat100 after all and a few events happening in the background.

With a great heave you take the shroud of light that surrounded your spherical form and spread it, coating every step of reality with it, and in doing so separating it all. Entire sections of reality became subsumed by this great veil, separated from reality and twisted to suit your whims.
Soon enough your work was complete and all reality was split in twain, divided by an ethereal veil of light. One layer attuned to the original framework of reality as made by your elders and the other attuned to the great chaos that was outside. A boundary that became a realm that is to be your realm.
Already you could see its beauty, filled with ever shifting lights that changed and twisted with your thoughts and observations, drawing in power from the beyond to make itself more than mere figments. The Boundary, a name that echoes within your being. Yes, that would be fitting. This was the domain between dream and reality, infinity and nothingness. The development from one to another given material form.
As you finish your observation you look past the veil, back into the empty reality, now devoid of the light that you bathed it in in the beginning. What will you do now?

How about making the boundary a crossbreed of the fade/warp and a filter. Some place we could do stuff without the fear of reality crashing down on us and the source of magic.
That would require a bit more than a single action to make and unfortunately while the Boundary can be made as a filter for chaos energy magic is itself an entirely different thing in this setting. You will find out more later.

Yes, it would involve making the boundary more permeable and introduce various flows that convert the chaos into energy and matter.
Also for the idea of introducing chaotic essence into the world, it would be a form of magical energy, but not magic itself. It is magical energy as it would allow things to break physics in several cases.
