TECHNICAL HELP HERE

Still, it seems a bit of contradiction. I don't know if I would trust a computer store to absolutely remove viruses. I know I have been lied to in the past by computers stores.
That's the problem with business. They lie if they can get away with it and it will increase profits, and the policies behind those claims are set by non-tech upper managers and marketers who don't understand the technical details of virus removal at all.
The techs being hired are screened by equally ignorant HR people before they ever get to talk to the IT manager.
If the HR people don't hear that the tech has the ability to do what they want using the right buzzwords and phrasing, they get screened out. An honest tech who is wishy-washy about his ability to do so using words like "I can't be sure to get all of it" will get ghosted in favor for the one who says "Absolutely, I can clear a system of malware".

If you can get away with it, "Yes, I can get rid of malware," without telling them that it involves reforming the hard drive and reinstalling the OS.

Curious, does anyone have a DEAD video card? Reason why I ask is that I want a video card I can take apart so that I can learn how to repaste it?
eBay wants highway robbery for dead video cards.

Repasting a gpu is pretty much the same as a cpu, and I see "for parts" listings on the first page for $10-$30 total buy it now. That's in the realm of "worth the bother of shipping" so not sure what you're expecting? I might be able to grab a really old pcie gpu from the bin at work.
