Taylor should've expected that her first on-screen concert would be attacked by baddies. At least there aren't anywhere close to enough seats in this house for a 70k body count.
How many concerts in Symphogear have gone to plan? I count two out of five. The second one in the first season, and the problems only started after the show finished in GX.

Fun fact, an average Symphogear concert has a death toll of around 16,600. (This is massively skewed by XV though.)

Edit: Taylor might be too early to watch Revue Starlight, but she is just in time to catch Madoka Magica as it comes out. If there ever was a setting.that needed some blunt force optimism.

Yeah, Concerts in Symphogear do tend to end badly. First series, Noise attack en masse, tons of casualties, Kanade dead, Hibiki almost died after getting fragments of Gungnir blasted into her chest as shrapnel. G, Maria reveals herself as a villain and basically declares war on the world. GX, after the show, Tsubasa and Maria are attacked by Autoscorers. XV, ugh, horrific casualties, concert venue completely destroyed, Tsubasa traumatized and Milliarc managed to implant a pavlovian trigger for use by Fudo later

I wonder what Hibiki is up to here. I swear to God, if she got killed off. Hope this isn't dead, it seems interesting. Not enough Symphogear stuff out there.

She's not dead. She's in the final days of her school year, in fact. She'll spend the last couple of weeks of March packing up and heading to Lydian Academy, where she'll finally fade into the background, joining her best friend, a one Kohinata Miku, instead of being the object of pity and scorn. She's stoked about the reunion concert of Zwei Wing, which will be later this year, barring some sort of national emergency. If she's heard about the Brockton Bay crisis, it'll probably be on a world-news segment of NHK before she gets bored and tries to change the channel. Under no circumstances will it matter to Tachibana Hibiki, because she is an ordinary girl, who in her darkest hour didn't become more than what she was. All she has to show for the worst day of her life is an interesting scar on her sternum, a scar that feels strange, occasionally, but she chalks that up to her injuries.

As for when I'll update, I'm hoping to write 2.4 after finals. I'm hoping it won't take longer, but 2.3 was hard to write, because it sets up the conflict for this meta-arc and I wasn't feeling especially inspired then.

;) Heh. Does she remember Kanade and Tsubasa turning into superheroes and fighting the Nose, or does she think it was just a dream she had while on the edge of death?

More importantly: has Miku worked up the courage to confess without having to deal with Shem-Ha's BS first? :V

I mean. Don't overlook Waikyou - Shenshoujing.

Not Shem-Ha BS, but she did put her confession into song knowing Hibiki would likely be watching...

That being said, seeing as that gear and shenanigans from "Last Action Hero" won't be popping up on that side...

That was the Shenshoujing and brainwashing doing it, not Miku consciously. Per the OVA's (which are broadstrokes canon) she didn't realize she had technically confessed until after-the-fact. That actually makes it rather more blatant of a confession then her consciously doing so. Of course, Hibiki still somehow didn't catch on to that despite watching the whole thing on camera.

So, knowing Hibiki (pre-season 5, episode 13), she would probably react to Miku suddenly going "Ai shiteru*, Hibiki!" with a somewhat confused and blase "oh, yeah, me too of course". This would prompt Miku to then go off and bash her head against a door frame a few times or something because why, oh why did she have to fall in love with a girl whose denser then a harem protag?!

*Leaving aside that this is regarded as one of the most boring and unromantic, as well as somehow also the most straightforward and serious, way of saying "I love you" in Japanese.

Im eager to see where this is going. Although from what im seeing it looks like Anette was the one that inherited Finé's consciousness and somehow left the Shenshoujing in Taylor's care? I cant wait to see that explode in Calvert's face, slimy snake. However, Shen Shoujing is also one of the most op symphogears out there, i mean it can destroy relics, gears or full relics, so that already gives Taylor a great deal of Firepower. Durandal? Lilac beam of doom and turns to dust. Nehustan Armor? I dont think the broze snakes of Moses will protect anyone against Lilac Beam Of Doom. Faust Robes? ......eeeeeeeeh maybe the ones from the trio of alchemists but Dur Da Bla and Shen Shoujing are easy prey, they use relics as base after all...

...I have to admit, I'm sad we apparently won't be getting Hibiki. Heck, one of the reasons I was interested was because the idea of how her and Taylor would interact was intriguing. Ah well. Maybe one day, some shenanigans or another will have an unexpected interruption. Otherwise, I'm afraid I'll have to drop this for now. Sorry.

Love the story and how Taylor is reacting to what's happening as she doesn't seem to fully understand what she has and can't wait to see more
