[X] Yes. Nasira is locked onto finishing Goodman Workshop next turn.
University. The start of a new era for you. No longer will be you dealing with the strictness of high school and being treated like a kid. Now you will be treated like an adult and be given the flexibility to pass or fail on your own merits. Many of your peers might struggle to adjust to their newfound freedom, but you are an old hand at managing your time and responsibilities.
"A shame we couldn't be roommates," you say as you and Nasira walk towards your dorms, "That would have made things much easier."
You decide not to mention that you deliberately arranged things behind the scenes to share a room with your roommate. Nasira doesn't need to know that and you can't see any benefit from telling her, even if she is convinced by your reasoning.
"I just wish we didn't have to stay on-campus dorms for our first year," replies Nasira, "I don't see the point if we can find our own accommodations."
"It is to help new students acclimate to university life and form a bond of shared experience," you tell her, "I don't agree, but I can see the point. At least we will be able to find our own living space next year."
"So we just suck it up for this year," says Nasira with a sigh.
"Yup," you say, "At least we are together in the same dorm. And it won't be so bad if our roommates are anything like they are on-paper."
"Of course you researched them," says Nasira with a playful roll of her eyes, "Come on now, don't be shy."
"My roommate is the youngest of the Fowlers from our generation," you say, naming the resident multi-billionaire family of the Twin Cities.
"So not even the rich are exempt from the stupid rule," mutters Nasira.
"After reviewing the data, she is either a decent person or is passable at the act of being one," you continue, ignoring your best friend's complaining, "I'm more inclined to believe that I will find her being out of touch with how the poor folk handle things rather than any nasty on her part. Hopefully we will be able to strike up a friendship. Being on good terms with the Fowlers, even if it is via their current youngest of them, would be invaluable for us in the future. Even if we discard any possibility of direct financial gain, the doors and opportunities that would be opened to us via their connections would be priceless."
"And my roommate?" inquires Nasira.
"Bronwyn Wright," you answer, "From a wealthy family, but regular wealth rather than super rich. Good grades, strong work ethic and a socialiser. Good looking with white skin, brown hair and brown eyes. A cheerleader who favours both athletics and academics in addition to maintaining a large social circle and favourable reputation. I don't expect any major problems from her, but you may clash with her due to your differences in life experience."
"And you do expect to clash with your own roommate?" asks Nasira.
"Of course, but I'm adaptable and she brings enough to the table that I am going to be flexible," you reply, "I have risen as far as I have in life by being able to tolerate such things. Worst comes to the worst, we'll just skirt the rules or find loopholes in them."

To my surprise, the dorms are more spacious and private than I had anticipated. Two bedrooms, one shared by myself and Joan Fowler while Nasira and her roommate occupy the other, a bathroom attached to each bedroom alongside a large living room and a communal kitchen. We even had a decent-sized utility room to share.
I'm already in the midst of unpacking my stuff when my roommate rolls in. Joan Fowler is confined to a wheelchair thanks to a series of severe illnesses that she was born with. Despite the sheer wealth of her family, some things just aren't available to be brought such as cures to the various ailments of the youngest Fowler. That said, their money has clearly done something for her health because a year or two ago, Joan would be confined to a bed and certainly not attending university in person.
With pale skin, dull red hair and determined green eyes, Joan Fowler is far from a beauty as she wheels her electric wheelchair into the spacious room. Even with your limited expertise in the area, you can tell that her attire is of high quality while the girl herself looks the opposite with forced energy and cheer despite her obvious ailment.
"Hello, roomie!" cries Joan before coughing.
"Hello," you greet her back cautiously, "Are you okay?"
"Just some illness I've lived with my whole life," answers Joan cheerfully, "I've never stopped it from living my life and I'm not going to stop now."
"If you say so," you reply neutrally, "Do you need help?"
"Mum and Dad sent someone to help me with that," says Joan before pausing, "But if you want to help, feel free."
As Joan and you chat, it quickly becomes clear to you that your new roommate really ought to be attending remotely rather than in-person. It might be true that her health might be better than it was, but that doesn't mean that Joan is fit to live in a university dorm. Even if she doesn't want to be in a long term hospital ward like she spent most of her life in, Joan should be looked after at home by her rich family.
And yet despite the frailties of her body, you are also aware of how she was able to wrangle her way into being your roommate. The girl is smart and while her intellect is close to yours, you would be willing to bet that she is smarter than Nasira and you mean no offence to your best friend when you say that. She is also quite the social butterfly despite her health or perhaps she is that way because of her health. With nothing better to do, you can see why Joan has honed her people skills as chatting with her is an unusually pleasant experience.
You will need to be wary of the helpers hired by her family showing up every now and again, but as things stand, rooming with Joan Fowler looks to be a rather enjoyable experience. Especially since she is an engineering student and while you might be taking different courses, you should be able to bond over a shared love of all things mechanical. Hopefully Nasira will be similarly getting along with her new roommate.

Despite the vigours of starting university, you have other things to worry about. Your pair of workshops are flourishing for now and are becoming increasingly less dependent on your personal involvement. Likewise your website designing has gotten off the ground and if you put the effort in, you have the potential to turn into a proper business rather than a one-time gig. Alternatively, you have heard things about owning a laundromat being a profitable yet hands off business so that might be one possibility to look into.
Beyond that, it might be worthwhile to build up a reputation of good behaviour by doing some volunteer work. It won't be directly profitable to you right now, but it may pay dividends in the future should anybody go investigating you and your character. Finally you could try your hand at the stock market. While profits are far from guaranteed, you feel confident in making some degree of income from buying and selling shares on the stock market.
And then there is what you do with your finances once you have acquired them. You already got your power armour design pretty heavily kitted out on top of designs for other assorted equipment, but there is always room for improvement. You have yet to design any laser weapons and your power armour lacks a sensor suite beyond the basics. You could also work on improving your armour plating. Your current compound is good enough for basic street fights, but it lacks staying power against weapons design to pierce armour. Of course, there is also the option to get started on your dream of figuring out nuclear fusion.
Last but not least, you are a budding criminal even if your future criminal empire has yet to get off the ground. You could identify a target to rob for either material gain or to make a point. Alternatively, you have enough funds that you could begin exploiting to the corruption of the Twin Cities.
There are plenty of people out there in a position to influence things or access valuable information who are also willing to take advantage of said positions in exchange for bribes. It is an undesirable thing that you seek to change one day, but for now, you are happy to make use of it for your own benefit. Similar to the last option, you could try looking for blackmail. Hacking into computers and servers for juicy secrets, spying on individuals of influence and so on. It won't be as effective without a network to make use of, but at the sametime, this blackmail could be the beginnings of such a network.
Finally, there is the matter of Nasira's roommate. Your best friend and right hand has expressed some concerns about Bronwyn Wright. Nothing overt or reportable, but the young lady is odd. Whimsical about her belongings, trying to sneak about without drawing attention and making odd jokes or references that only she seems to get.
As you said, it is nothing to worry about on the face of things, but Nasira has the creeps and you owe it to her to reassure her.

I'm changing things up to make running and writing this quest easier for me. I'm going more narrative now so I can worry more about telling the story and less about figuring out gameplay mechanics. The future turn format for now is picking an option from each category and I have plans to have quests, which effectively unlocks a new category where you can take an action each turn to progress that quest plotline.
Any mechanical stuff is going to be blackboxed and handled behind the scenes. This is so I don't have to be hard and fast with the mechanics and about balancing gameplay mechanics when presenting options in the vote or writing the updates.
Beyond that, each turn will be covering a single month while your super computer is being built behind the scenes since you started that last turn.
Please point out any spelling or grammar mistakes that you spot. Please quote them in the thread and explain what you think is wrong so I know what you are referring to.
