Because 1) The original said it himself, that the only one that can save the Earth is Tekkaman Blade

Because 2) (not that it's needed) His shouts can break through the fourth wall, granting the ability to bypass most esoteric defenses like whatever the fuck Master Therion has up his sleeve

Because 3) (why we even discussing this) BECAUSE ISNT IT AMAZING, NII-SAN?! THIS POWER! THIS AMAZING POWER!

So if we're going to be saving the universe, clearly we need the superior Tekkaman acknowledged by his predecessors that also shoots Spiral Energy.

Of course, but we could also have the original Tekkaman there, because Tatsunoko! I mean, at least he could save Miyuki or something. That would help a lot.

why would we save miyuki she's only good for dying and sacrificing herself pointlessly by blowing up our sweet as fuck home base

if anything we should "accidentally" put her in the path of a rampaging Unit-01 or something

then kinda turn around and whistle innocently while letting Blade wreck the thing once it inevitably tries to initiate Instrumentality

this plan has no flaws what flaws i dont see any flaws cant you tell its flawless

It's not that I don't like it, it's just that the latest SRW originals all have had a great melee element in them. So it would be refreshing to have a Super that is more distance focused for me.
 
The secret character I was referencing isn't Tekkaman Blade. Tekkaman isn't nearly as ridiculous, and he's certainly not what I'd call a Dangerous Boy. He's a pretty G Guy, though.

Tekkaman Rapier was pretty good as a unit though.

Well that almost killed my buzz, save for the fact that its already self-sustaining

Not that I'm not a fan of him, mind you. I just prefer manly incoherent shouting when eradicating my problems.

Eh, Game Mechanics. Tekkamen in general were pretty absurd as units in that game. Miyuki is just lame as a character though :V
