That sounds incredibly interesting and good to know. Like it's cool that I'm getting a few hundred likes a week and I have 900 watchers and all that but like, how much retention do I have?

I had a deep dive look into this and it's hard to do because readers is such an unstable metric. Basically, the readers metric jumps around so much it's really hard to build a coherent picture. I'm working on some advanced data cleaning now but it may be a bit.

I update 3 chapters and 1 side story per week and am often in there despite having a fairly unpopular subgenre at this point.

That being said I'll likely never be in the top 10 again because I've cut it down to 2 updates per week and 1 side story, with bigger, better, higher quality updates.
Which is fine, give it to someone more deserving.

If your story is popular, then once a week or less will see you on the boards, often in a quite high position. It really all comes down to how many watchers you have. And that's something that can take a while to build up.
