Too late, we gave her to Willow and now she is condemned to the crazy dark magic sunnydale government coven.
It will be interesting to see what a generalist that has a firmer grasp of invocations and magic as a whole thinks of both our coven, and the Wilkins library crash course that has accelerated Willow, Jonathon, and Andrew.
Tara with a solid foundation and grasp of traditional magic could have the biggest growth from access to the library.

It's almost certainly Spike digging up the Gem of Amara. The timeline is right for it, and there was a scene during the episode where Xander turns on the news at Giles house and hears reports of a giant sinkhole appearing. Importantly, I'm pretty sure that scene happened after Spike found the Gem, so if he's still down there, this exploration is probably about to get very interesting!

Man if it is Spike with the Gem then he lucked out hard on the timing. He can't beeline into Buffy and get smooshed and have it taken from him, so he has to find someone else to fight. The beastman robot will probably keep him entertained for awhile, but we will have to worry about an attack on the Watch as a whole or on the Initiative and Faith if he can find them.

Money is always needed especially if we want to bring about a socialists utopia that has free university, universal healthcare, and affordable housing.
Plus, just think of all those delicious uh, I mean dangerous! cursed objects down there. Why, we can't have just anyone stumbling across them! We'd be doing a real public service getting them off the streets. I concur with the looting idea.
