StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void

This is my most epic and hardest game of the month. My opponent had much more chances but I somehow won this game.

So I can solidly outplay a Plat-rank cannon rusher as Protoss. This pleases me.

Still need to work on this whole 'floating resources' problem though. :|

Hello, who is playing cooperative mode? I just wanted to discuss the latest patch and the changes in the Kerrigan Mutalisks

I checked out Makron's Desert Strike and I found the concept to be...ok? I read up a little more on DS and the push and pull looks neat but 80 round matches sound too much and the later spawns look like they beat the framerate into submission.

My reaction.

Umojan protectorate is cool, at least the blizzard remembers that they exist.

It seems to me or the skins of Protoss look not very interesting?

And my god these zerg, they are so cool! I can not believe that they made mecha zerg

I get what they were going for, but at the same time outside of the dark templar related stuff it doesn't seem like they changed much from what they normally look like.

The Umojan skin looks about as sleek and advanced as I expected them to be, though I can't help but feel the marine has less going for it in some way now that it looks less like the War Pig skin they had for them in Heart of the Swarm.

And the zerg skin looks like the purifiers are trying to take over the universe by building robotic duplicates of the other two races. And yet I can't help but want to use it on first mission of Heart of the Swarm for some reason.

I can't wait for Robotic Terrans. :V

I would like to see them go in a different direction entirely with the Protoss skins, I'll be honest. I'm not 100% sure what direction that is, but I feel like a Terran-style Protoss would be interesting: sort of mechanical, beat up, etc.

Well, now we need a zerg in the protoss style. Terrans in the style of protoss and unchanged zerg. Well, and protoss in the style of zerg and terrans.

On the one hand, I'm disappointed that this is not the Robo-Overmind. On the other hand, I'm one of those people who liked Tychus and I'm glad to see that we get new commanders and if honestly the presence of Tychus opens the gate for Tassadar, Overmind and others.

Zeratul lives again and he decided to get a couple of Xel'naga toys on the battlefield ... This is perhaps the very unexpectedness of events ... My hopes for the Overmind amplified.

I swear they used the color scheme for his units in one of the campaigns, but I can't recall where.

And I kind of hope Urun and Mohandar show up as leaders of some of the reinforcements. Won't be much, but I was kind of disappointed they didn't show up in LOTV at some point and had to find out they both died in side materials.

honestly I'm super hyped over the building skins, though; I just hope they finally put in a 'turn off all/opponent' skins button somewhere (or else have it so you can have skins presets so it doesn't take 5 minutes to turn them on/off if you're doing it to multiple races.)

I kinda wish they had sold the building skins together with the unit skins but eh, it's acceptable. I particularly like the Zerg simulant skins, I think they're really good.

All right, I've been out of the loop for a while. I'm looking at the LotV Protoss units and...

What the hey? This "Disruptor" unit deals 145 splash damage and an additional 55 shield damage to nearby ground units and structures? Meanwhile, the High Templar is stuck with a piddly80 damage over 3 seconds and has to wait to use its damage dealing ability?

What bullshit is this?

EDIT: really, can someone just give me the run down on the LotV protoss units and how to best use the faction in game?
