Space: 1889 (OOC & Claims)

3 turns to build a point of Industry or CP. Also three turns to build a Armory, Shipyard, Land Complex, or Ether Shipyard.

You only need mod approval to put a point into the IN or CP building box. You can expand your fleets, armies, and military infrastructure as you wish. For the army and MI it takes a year or less before its complete. For ships, it takes several years to finish a battleship, around 4 for a cruiser, 2 for a frigate, everything else takes a year.

Another thing, I was just toying around with the spreadsheet and noticed, that the upkeep for the categories infrastructure part 2 and military part 2 gives a positive number, when it should give a negative one.

EDIT: Nevermind, it works for the net expanses, it only gives a false number for the detailed expanses.

Oh, Qing player, I'll have the stats for your "Colony" in Korea up soon. Although I suppose its more of a Vassal State, but for mechanics purposes we will treat it as a Colony.

On that note, does anyone else know of any areas of China that are significantly ethnically or culturally different that they wouldn't be considered part of China proper? Last game we didn't have a China player so I never wrote up stats for them.

Well China is mostly Homogeneous the only large group of different people would be the Manchu in Manchuria (Redundant) , the Mongols (small), Tibetans(small) and some steppe culture to the west but nothing that big , most are minorities.

@HellHound01, what do you think is a good military for Sweden-Norway? I am trying to figure it out so that I am well protected and can potentially expand off world, but also not go bankrupt. Any help you could give is greatly appreciated.

You can take the Ottomans if you'd like, but honestly having a Russia player would be far more interesting this early in the game.

Thanks for pointing that out, I don't proclaim to be an expert on 1800s pay, or military fiances. I'll tweak the expenses, please continue to point out anything like this that you notice. It'll probably take a few days for us to really fine tune and balance the economy. If anyone feels like they are making to much, or to little money, please let me know.

Yes, some Earth plants can be grown there, corn, cucumbers, and potatoes have done rather well. While thinks like wheat and rice, not so much. Mars plants have been pretty much the same result on Earth. Yes, both Humans and Martians can eat food from the opposite planet, although reactions vary. For the most part it seems humans can eat most Mars plants and animals with little to no problem. Even some Martian poisons don't seem to bother Human.

It's not the specific costs that really matter, I got those numbers from quick googling, it's more about balance. Battleships, especially air battleships, are going to be prohibitively expensive for anyone but great powers to have at all, and arms races between great powers should be as expensive as they were OTL

What are the starting # of armories, etc, for each state?

Can the player list be updated, so I can see what is available?

Yeah I've tweaked the cost and increased most of the military units, while decreasing the cost of infantry.

Each player can start with just enough of everything to support their starting peacetime military.

Yup, I'll get that done.

1% of your population is a good rule of thumb for your peace time military.

as China , I am rich as around 13x Japans

Yech, China has always had a huge economy, and lots of trade. So its rich as fuck, I'm a little worried about how it will effect game balance.

@HellHound01, what I meant was that I had no idea how many navel ships (obviously I have no Ether ships) I have.

We had this problem last game, its hard to find sources for the SN navy at this time. We estimated around 20 Ironclad ships of various types.

Well right now I am making £703,791,305.00 , I think that is rich as fuck and more rich than the British or the Germans and French Combined.
