1997: Captain Ham, a supervillain with the power to turn anything to meat and can use meat as weapons, appears in Toronto. Since he only does small crimes, he is not taken seriously. Flutter & Noir-Knight face him a few times, but usually don't beat him up so they can laugh at how worthless he is. Gaining a sense of conscience, he goes on a journey of self-discovery inspired by President Gump, and learns he might need to be a hero. Actually doing well, he ends up joining the Justice League.

Here's a idea.

(SN) a strange black lightning hits a movie theatre in Texas during a showing of The Cabin in the Woods in 2011, which somehow causes every Monsters shown during the Purge scene to come running out of the screen, though thankfully for everyone there was the fact that the monsters seemed more interested in getting out of the city, then killing people, with most of the deaths being do to people not getting out of the way fast enough.
