Something Old...: A Semi-Collaborative TL

(SN) 2009, Nasa discovers faces resembling those of dead U.S. presidents forming on the dark side of the moon, soon dark silhouettes of the free-worlds old leaders walk onto the the light side of earth's stone satellite, and slaughter any astronauts or rovers that attempt to interact with them, pretty sure one of the rovers got flung into the sun

TURN 5
2009 - NASA finds a shock when a rover discovers the faces of dead American presidents on the moon's dark side. It is jokingly called Mount Rushless. However, the jokes soon end as that same rover would encounter the dark silhouette of John F. Kennedy, who lifts the rover by sheer force and flings it into the sun. As rovers are sent to explore Mount Rushless, more silhouettes of the old leaders of the free world appear, slaughtering any rovers (even some astronauts) who dare interact with them. The silhouettes become known as Pretenders, and some conspiracy theorists believe that Geoff's nightmares are starting to spread. NASA denies these rumors, and explains that the Pretenders are proof of extraterrestial life. NASA has yet to return to the moon.

TIMELINE NOTES: The Moon becomes populated by something you'd see in the SCP Foundation.

Got any ideas?

(SN) 2009, The Knight Of 9 Swords joins Tony Stark's superhero team, a supernatural entity resembling a tall figure in full medieval armour pierced by 9 different immovable swords, they were one of the worst and most brutal templars during the crusades, he is pierced by 9 blades representing the witches that cursed him for killing them and their loved ones
He now wanders the earth forced to repent by slaying ACTUAL evil in the name of good, he only recently during the 90s realized how horrible his sins actually were, he is still beating up bad guys but is just filled with a fuck ton of self-loathing

TURN 6
2009 - The Knight of 9 Swords joins The Avengers, the same team Tony Stark (Iron Man) is in. The Knight of 9 Swords is a supernatural entity representing a tall figure in medieval armor pierced by 9 different immovable swords. He was one of the worst and most vicious Knights Templar during the Crusades, and was cursed by 9 different witches to walk the Earth forever after he killed them and their loved ones. He is now forced to repent by slaying ACTUAL evil in the name of good. During the 90s, he finally realized how horrible his sins actually were. Although he joined The Avengers due to his skills, he is reluctant about fighting evil, and his self-loathing problems might not make it better.

TIMELINE NOTES: Highlander, but more depression.

(SN) 2009, Japanese explorers discover a silver obelisk of a mysterious liquid in the arctic, their scientists thaw it and discover it to be some kind of silver water, it is a liquid computer of inexplicable origin, which they discover when it connects to their computers wirelessly and makes them malfunction, and if consumed you will see what it's simulating, which is basically hell, it's simulating the worst possible thing ever, any program it connects to will collapse, and if someone saw what it was comprehending they would kill themselves finding that existence in the same universe as such an abhorrent idea isn't worth it
The Japanese government decided to keep the Liquid Hell just in case they ever need it

TURN 8
2009 - Japanese explorers in the Arctic find a silver obelisk made of a frozen silver liquid, like mercury. Upon thawing, however, it turns out to be a sort of silver-colored water. When it is accidentally spilled onto a computer, it makes the computer malfunction while the liquid connects to it wirelessly, like a liquid computer. Test subjects are brought in to consume the liquid. They all go insane and kill themselves within minutes of drinking, most of them saying they saw the most unholy place imaginable in the known universe before killing themselves. The Japanese dub the liquid Liquid Hell and plan to use it in prisons.

TIMELINE NOTES: Another "I can't believe it's not already an SCP" pops up!

TURN 10
2009 - The Avengers and Autobots work together for the first time to kill CHARGATHAKON, a Nightmare of Geoff inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos that killed 3 blocks worth of people. It ripped off Optimus's arm and nearly blinded Iron Man for life with a ray of Dark-Magic, but it was finally defeated when Bumblebee strangled it with a crane from a construction site, giving Marissa and the Knight of 9 Swords the opportunity to decapitate it. Every hero thanks themselves on each others efforts, Optimus rests to have his arm rebuilt, and many people believe the Avengers, Autobots, and Nightmare Hunters should combine into one team of heroes. Meanwhile, back in New York City, the decision is made for more stronger Nightmare Hunters to mix with the weak, so they might be able to stop another threat like CHARGATHAKON.

TIMELINE NOTES: What is this, a crossover event?

(SC) 2009, Garfield the cat expertly hides his and Odie's humanlike intelligence from the public to avoid being dissected or something like that, Jon Arbuckle meanwhile gets a job as a Nightmare Hunter since being a comic book artist isn't paying the bills that well, he is on the same squad as Marissa and he ends up choking a vampire to death on his first mission

TURN 11 part 1
2009 - In Muncie, IN, Garfield the cat has been hiding his humanlike intelligence from his owner Jon Arbuckle. He has been frenemies with Odie, a dog belonging to Jon's long lost friend Lyman that's also under Garfield's situation. Since his cartoonist job hasn't been paying well, Jon moves to New York City to becomes a Nightmare Hunter, and is put on the same squad as Marissa. He chokes a vampire to death on his very first mission. The pets are OK with the change in locale, but once they find out Jon's new job, their opinion on him changes. Garfield still will poke fun at Jon, but he looks up to him a bit more. Odie becomes more fond with his owner, spending more time with him than Garfield.

TIMELINE NOTES: The impossible happens! Jon Arbuckle does something actually worthwhile, and Garfield (sorta) respects him for it.

(SN) 2010, an artwork called the "Stupidity Of Man" is put in the Louvre in the morning despite the museum curators and staff never hearing of such a work or buying it, they only remember placing it there, it's a large metal orb with a hole on it, and it is covered with various signs saying not to put your hand in the hole, a kid put their hand in the hole, it was cut off by the whirring rusty saws inside, it was later thrown away in some garbage dump because of this, and it's still fully functional despite being unplugged, a couple hobos with missing hands can vouch on this fact
