So You Woke Up in a Room. (Original/Mixed-Crossover.)

Lysyris put her satchel back on, and decided to follow everyone else into the forest. As soon as she stepped outside, she spread her wings, and flew above the trees to get a good look at the area.

And then suddenly bang!

"Gee wiz Billy Jean i sure 'nabbed a big 'un today huh? Go tell ma to heat up the big oven!"

(I do not apologise for the stereotypes :V)

OP! Can i flesh out my character sheet a tiny bit?
I was one of the first guys and did not know how much things would be too greedy. Now since i have more examples i would like to expand a bit. I promise not to add anything that would not make sense for the character and will awoid anything overpowered.

This is fine, so long as it remains reasonable.

My very first d100 roll here, and it's a whopping 6. I might need some help setting up the campfire. :lol

Hehehe. Yeah. Look on the brightside; at least you have a bonus from your points in survival, plus it wasn't a critical failure. If it had been that, well...let's just say you would have had a fire alright.

Aaaaand edited. Expanded on his worlds lore a bit. Explained what a Earth Warden is.
Why goblins lived mostly in underground super tunnel networks.

And made it so that he is less crippled in limited light conditions and can survive easyly underground.

I believe that context relevant feats don't make him overpowered. No superman level senses naturally.

Welcome to fantasy X-Com.

So is it a d100+skill system?
Does that mean the balance is that magic users will invest into spells and mana to be super flexible, while "normal" guys can only dump their stats into "normal" skills makes them into martial demi gods?

Sorry for not posting for so long. :(

I'm going to try to use a fireball to lit a fire without survival.

That's probably cheating or a really bad idea.

Who knows, maybe I'm going to lit the forest on fire the first five minutes since we started our adventure.

No that's role playing! The strength of Pen and paper RPGs over video games are that they are not constricted by UI or pre programmed uses of abilities. You have the skill to throw fire whenever. It would make sense that you can use it in a non combat situation.

Whether it's a good idea is a separate manner. :V

Edit:

Well, hopefully the actual roll will be better and not ruin the knights armor more.
Alfonso Alonso threw 1 100-faced dice. Reason: Success simulator Total: 11
11 11

It's a d100 system. Each point in your respective skill is a bonus of 1 to the respective skill-check on top of whatever roll you get. Unless there's a debuff or that particular roll is tagged as 'no-bonus-allowed'. Then you just have to rely exclusively on your roll.

Wow, so the starting 7 are only a help of like 7/100 assuming you went all in.
This games lvl 1 characters are not on the high end. :o

I'd like to apologise for not being around much these past couple of days. I've been out here in the sticks for a family thing and haven't had much chance to internet, and even when I do, I'm mostly too tired to put much attention into this. I'll be back home by this evening, so I should be able to update more regularly.

This is fine. Take all the time you need.
