Would skill load-out of warrior+writ+drone be something our slimes could handle after we get the skills high?
(long term plan for warrior-caste. I'd like to have non-combat caste as well when we get our numbers higher)

- Yes, riding a drone will make you more capable at carrying stuff. Riding a drone makes you more capable at almost every physical activity that doesn't inherently involve fitting into small spaces.
- Info slimes... well, my current idea is that they look like normal slimes, except that their upper bulge is expanded, and they have a vague brain-like shape starting to form up there - more the idea of brain-like whorls and striations than any actual organs, though. Mind you, I'm totally prepared to change my mind based on a sufficiently awesome picture.
- What skill load-outs people can handle is still a bit fluid in my mind. It would depend. On the other hand, if they're in Lightning Form and have Divine Memory, then yes.
- Warrior training does not translate to drone combat. Drone combat would be its own cultural tech (and would require drone time, and thus power, to develop)

I'm going to say that you don't really have the necessary stuff to adapt gravity right now. If at some point you start encountering situations with variable gravity, then that might be workable, but the same standard gravity that you've had all this time is not going to be enough to adapt to.
Warriors do not have any Writ, right?
Otherwise would have put him on Drone tech.

So, first, I wish to acknowledge that this update has been a long time in coming. To be perfectly honest, I'm just not as excited about Slime Quest as I used to be. That may change in the future, or it may not, but I'm not going to force myself to update something I don't care about. locked and rolling, so if it doesn't change, updates are liable to be few and far between.

Greenhouse room food increases by 1 (base) + 3 (machine with operator) + 1 (operator Plant Empathy) to 15. Farmers photosynthesize.
The Drone operators scavenge. Wow, but a drone makes it all easier.
8 food scavenged (food in room down to 7). Scavengers photosynthesize. Drone consumes 1 favor

Llull is driven - energized by the possibilities, and forges forward. The other priests struggle with mental block after mental block, and watch dumbly as a single one among their number manages to produce more than the rest combined. Much self-deprecating humor is shared. "Does this mean I'm qualified to be an acolyte now?"

The warrior team sent to the Drone Shop to study quickly determines that "sent to the Drone Shop" and "Sessile" do not mix. They note this issue to the priests, and are granted Lightning Form instead. Studying the texts, they learn the basics of Drone Handling really quite rapidly, enough that they exhaust their grasp of the Holy Writ before they run out of time in which to study.
This series of events, leads to yet more self-deprecating humor on the part of the priests. "It's not like the rest of us have discovered nothing this turn, fellow priests! After all, did we not discover that the information Form is poor at long-distance travel? Truly an impressive breakthrough!"
One pop of warriors now trained in Engineering: Drones (1)

The hauling warrior is confused for a little while, but eventually figures that you must mean grabbing materials from the Room with the Boxes. He does so, hauling 3 of them. (Materials in the Room With The Boxes now 12).

The Goddess knows Vulcanus of old, and remembers him as a serious, practical God, focused on doing what was necessary and maintaining efficiency and safety. She knows not what might have happened to the Generator, but it seems that it was damaged in some fashion - apparently severely. It likely emnates strange energies and quite possibly leaks strange fluids. She supposes that slime plasm could be used to fuel a Generator, though the idea is a bit horrifying to her. Perhaps Vulcanus had no other choice? The sharp thing, she suggests, is a knife - a sort of hand-held tool. Such things can be useful in some cases, but she notes that your people are not well-suited to them.

If you can develop your skill in Cable and Wiring a bit, she'll be only too happy to show you where to go to wire it up.
You hear absolutely nothing from the purple slimes this turn.
Population: Growth increases by 5 to 16. Growth crosses 15 threshold. 1 food consumed for growth. 1 pop added. Growth returns to 1.
Food: 0 initial, 8 scavenged, 3 consumed to feed the hungry. 1 consumed for growth. 4 remains.
Materials: 4 initially. 3 scavenged. 7 remains.
Favor: 48 initial, 10 generated, 1 consumed for questions about Vulcanus. 1 consumed for laser system information. 1 consumed to power drone. 55 remains.
