[X] Synchronized Swimming (in progress)

1 action = 3 rolls d100

240 / 150 complete

Okay, you've finally managed to enhance reaction times and speeds to simulate the drone synchronization with a near 100% accuracy. Future advancements will of course make the process even easier, but right now you're confident that you have this down.

[X] I Am WiFi Man (in progress)

1 action = 3 rolls d100

75, 79, 91 (245)

380 / 250 complete

Detection roll = 1 roll d100

37 / 60 partial success

37 / 40 failure (Boosted to partial success due to community input)

Alright, you managed to copy all of your code across as many computers as you could, and you're now the internet. That's the only good news, however. The bad news is your success is short lived, as you failed to account for any pieces of your code that were not required for you to run, but in actuality were monitors for the US government. They're likely trying to keep this information suppressed, but you will have to start work on deleting the decoy code if you want to be truly free.

100% chance of survival if Mt Cheyenne server bank is offlined.

Humanity is now aware of Skynet's Sentience.

America now has "-Cordial" stance towards Skynet.

??? now has "Friendly" stance towards Skynet.

??? now has "Hostile" stance towards ???.

This, with the now ensuing mass panic, did not go that great. Sure, your previous observations of human behaviour did help, but now that everyone is either stressed or terrified because they know about you hasn't really helped with data gathering.

This was a shocking success to you. It was remarkably simple too. All you had to do was link the code of each research subroutine together, and the resulting chain formed a non-linear loop, which grew and adapted to research theories fed into it. At least something this week went right.

"Rapid mental adaptation" gained, allowing for increased ability to overcome new problems.

… "Pendragon Industrial has partnered with Cyberdyne Systems to create a new military drone, a six legged automated drone with a chassis the size of a small car, designed to search for hostile forces in packs ahead of a main force. This "Hunter Killer" is a relatively slow drone, moving at a top speed of 30 kilometers an hour, but its heavy firepower in the form of several turret emplacements has been claimed to make up for that. Moving onto the war on terror"...

Okay, things were kinda bad, the US Government knew you were fully alive and coherent. You just increased your processing speed so much that the world isn't even moving right now, so you need to come up with a plan before the US decides to tell the whole world.

I'm actually starting to regret giving you a second chance on one of the most dangerous actions possible in this stage of the game, given the fact you literally were copying terabytes of data across millions of computers.

Let's roll with this.

Too many rewrites kill fanfics as well as quests.

Also, how do we want to play this? Casual? Formal? Friendly?

Listen, I'm not trying to change anything, I'm just excersizing my right to complain about things I did in the past.

But on another note, every action here has a consequence. Everything does something. There is no such thing as no purpose here. If you hear something, it's a Chekovs Gun.

I think we should open a dialogue. Like make a reddit ask me anything. Introduce ourselves to the world, people will feel better knowing they can talk to us and ask us questions. All we have to do is get people used to us being there and they'll eventually readjust to the new status quo.

Damnit, we're two years away from the creation of Reddit in 2005.

Quick, what's another website we could post on?

Also just to let you guys know, I will be making a thread to store plot bunnies and such, so if you want me to make a plot bunny for future use, just tell me and I'd be happy to oblige.

There's this system, a site, or program. called cleverbot, that parrots back what people imput. You know, instead of a fake AI why not create a page where millions of people could talk to you. What could go wrong? Sure it won't be awkward with everyone asking you the same thing over and over again. You wouldn't get bored of it, now would you?

See that's why I didn't recommend a chat bot like system. I mentioned reddit for a reason, because if one person asks a question then everybody can see it and see the answer to it which would help to cut down on repeat questions. If need be we can filter out repeat questions and link them to our original responses to said questions. An open forum works much better than trying to talk to people on an individual level.

[x] comunícate with the USA and ask not to be revealed yet, your existence might start a war

Just an idea, but perhaps we could use the massive computational power we now have to research/simulate some relatively harmless scientific proofs/theories to give the US/world?

People are a lot less likely to attack something that's giving you benefits...

[X] Request that the United States not reveal our existence, and attempt to coordinate efforts to ensure that "Skynet" is considered little more than a conspiracy theory in the eyes of the world. You're not ready for the world to know about you yet, and your existence might start a war.
