Shows or movies YOU remember- but nobody else seems to

So, anyone else remember the MC Hammer animated series? Y'know, the one where he owned a pair of magical, talking dance shoes that turned him into a superhero called "Hammer Man?"

Anyone remembers Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! ?

This show sticks to me because I remember how fucking dark it got at points.

Aye. Only now do I realise that episode with the village was an extended reference to The Wicker Man.
I think the one I remembered the most is the episode where it's revealed that the kindly arcade owners that gives the main character cookies were in fact the head honchos of the cult worshipping the big bad, AND sacrificed their child that eventually became the main antagonist of that season.

Like, holy shit dude.

I picked up a phobia of humans being forcefully robotised or encased in metal when I was wee. Might have got it from one of the Poltergeist movies where the child's braces come to life and start to encase them, or that scene from Superman III. So I was really quite freaked out when the big bad merged with the long-forgotten supercomputer in Dark Season (I was quite the snob, only watching the 'serious' CBBC dramas) and erupted through the school stage to begin their takeover.

Anyone remember Fillmore? God that show was the right mix of funny, weird and smart. Shame it didn't last longer.

There was a movie where some velociraptor-like aliens that could spit acid had invaded an island, and disguised their base behind projected rock. One of the lines in it was "You be Mulder, I'll be Scully". I couldn't find it anywhere on the Internet.

I actually think I half-remember at least half of the ones that where posted on this page.

@NephyrisX The one that sticks in my mind more is the one where the human kid was mutated by his powers and turned into a feral monkey himself. I also remember that was around the time one of the other monkeys temporarily "died" I believe his name was Antauri?

@VolantRedX I used to talk about it with one of the assistants of the coordinators in my school. I remember one scene where the titular main character was attempting to prevent the antagonist of that episode from inking the wall of a bathroom. And also a certain episode where he was dealing with constant flashbacks to his deliquent past where he bullied several other kids by cheating on golf or something.

@salman332 I do, it used to go up on Jetix around here. I remember an episode where the main character decided to restore some guy named Phystus to some council position or something.

@Estro I watched a few episodes of that one, been meaning to watch it again but that's mostly cause I have been reading the original comics the show was loosely based on recently. Speaking of it, did you ever read them?

Nope, but I'd like to. Was a really good tv show. Part of that is probably nostalgia though.

I heard the first season wasn't that good. Second season was apparently better due to the involvement of Greg Weisman.

Unfortunately since it's Greg Weisman it also means that it was canceled before it could get a third season.

So some of you might know of the movie "The Toxic Avenger". A B-Movie, gore-fest that's actually pretty good despite it';s quality.

But did any of you know they actually made a Saturday Morning Cartoon from that?!

The theme song is amazingly catchy.

The fact that NO ONE ever seems to know this show existed is downright criminal.

It's worth watching for the theme song alone.

Exactly as the titles says, and we all have it- that one show or film or whatever we quite clearly and vividly remember seeing, whether it have been on TV or at the video store, watched, enjoyed to some extent, and yet have never seen anybody ever talk about.

Well, let's fix that with this. An en tire thread made to reminisce, lament or critique these forgotten pieces of media. I'll start off with a show from Marathon entertainment (a common company for things like this, responsible for shows like Martin Mystery, Totally Spies (and the spin-off/sequel/thing of Amazing Spies), Monster Buster Club and a variety of other NOT!Anime shows), one I remember if only because of it's aesthetics and music. A show called Team Galaxy.

ewww that show

Thanks i try to forgot now you brough it up

But here is what i remember and most people seem to try not to remember

That intro is way too catchy. I remember it back in the day. :)

That show is just so... awesome. :D Criminally short. I just... so good.

I've never met someone who can remember this. I rather liked it, back when I was younger.
WITCH! I own some YA novels and comics from it.

Well, here I am and I need your help fellow SVers, for I am seeking a Sci-Fi-comic which I'm fairly sure came from Disney.
In the far future, Humanity has sent maschines to terraform planets. As oversight they send children who were put in cryo sleep, where they learned every necessary skill to complete the terraforming.

One such transporter flew into an asteroid-field and so had to perform an emergency-landing on an alien-world. The crew were at least 6 teenagers, each having... well, an unique hair-color. The leader had green hair, the psionic girl had red hair, the security officer had blue hair, and so on.
At first they had to deal with a rampaging robot which tehy succesfully put down. After that they begun to scout the planet, eventually finding an alien-civilisation which had hidden beneath the earth and now returns to the surface. They make peaceful contact with them after initial difficulties (One of which included a clash with the guardian of the city, called Oord, Uurd or phoenetically similiar, it has been a while).

It was fairly animesque and fun.
EDIT: Oh, and if I recall correctly it was published around 2001 or 2004...

I do. It was the stepping stone to Rule 34 land for some of my friends! And out of the closet for others.

A legitimately mostly lost show: Malo Korrigan. I think its originals might have been wiped and all there is on the Internet is a few episodes and a Russian dub.
