I mean...it is called "Inspired Inventor" and not "Triggered Technologian" or "Energized Engineer".
Maybe you can invent a new fighting style or a form of government (Which is stated in the wiki as well).
Or go even further and invest points in other sciences and don't limit yourself to Engineering.
A few hands in many pies is a good way to keep yourself busy Hokage-sama.
