Selector Matched WIXOSS [Now Recruiting]

What were the specialties of each color again, @Azecreth ?

Green is about having all the Ener you could ever need to use stuff, then using that to prevent attacks, keep your opponent from becoming too strong by removing high powered SIGNI, and controlling the battlefield.

Red is about bypassing defenses to hit the opponent directly, getting rid of weak SIGNI, and just hitting the enemy hard

White is about defending, protecting from attacks, and manipulating the field to weaken your opponent so you can defeat them.

Ah, thanks!
And sorry if this seems bothersome, but what about the other two? (If you don't mind, if not it's okay.)

Is the three loss rule general knowledge that's given to the Selectors or is that something that Lrigs try to keep hidden? Just a little something I'd like to know while working on my sheet. I'm working through my character sheet now and I hope to have it up today or tomorrow.

IIRC, the fact that everyone has three losses at most is something that they generally know or pick up, but the whole wish Inversion is something that's kept somewhat hidden.

I think. I may remember wrong.

As far as I remember, everybody know that you're out if you have three losses. They just don't know what's exactly is out.

Blue is about messing with the opponent, getting rid of their cards, keeping them from attacking, and then using that to give yourself the advantage. So, like Akira's head games but without the ability to see their hearts desire and mock them for it. :V

Black is about reducing the opponents strength, sacrificing your own cards to get stronger, and then manipulating what has been destroyed aready for your own benefit.

Also, just to make sure, we're not exactly sticking hard and fast to the rules of the card game, are we?

This is true though. Because having an actual card game RP would get real boring real fast.

The 'Three consecutive losses and you're out' is general knowledge that is provided at the start, but the consequences of that tend to be up to the LRIG if they want to let their Selector know or not. Cause if their Selector chooses not to compete, well, they're kinda stuck.

Just a thought, but can an LRIG intentionally screw up a game if she feel like it? I can't remember if that's happened or not.

...Maaaaaaaaaybeeeee?

I mean, It hasn't happened to the show, but that's because the characters were, surprisingly enough, going by actual rules. They just weren't explained because Angst makes for such a better story than descriptions on exactly why this card will f*%£ u up.

Not sure what Aze's idea is though.

I'm having a concept of an LRIG who takes honor and fair game very seriously. She will give her best, but only if her opponent do the same. So if her Selector try to do something like Yuzuki at the begining, she will cheerfully coach her opponent through the basic, giving her tips and everything to get her started.

If her Selector start pulling really dick moves like Akira and she can't convince her to stop or cheer her opponent up, she'll just flat out throw the match altogether.

In the show an LRIG could only throw a fight by messing with their Selector, since they're just following instructions.

In this they can, since I'm eschewing more of the card battle stuff for a more fluid format where LRIGs fight it out. Mostly because having a strict card game RP has it's own flaws. So yes, in this an LRIG can throw a fight if they want.

LRIG: Keiko - munchkinomatic
Done, I'm confused as of why gender is an option for LRIG. I mean, are YOBs a thing?

I'm fucked if I win. I'm fucked if I lose. I'm fucked if I don't do anything. At least I get to have fun while I'm at it.

Name:
Keiko

Appearance:

Keiko is dressed in red full plates armor, covered in ridges, scales, and spiky designs that evokes the image of a dragon. A massive white overcoat with red and gold highlight is drapped over her shoulders. She had long red hair reached down to her waist. In her hand is a huge warhammer with head resembled that of a dragon.

Gender:
Female

Color:
Red

Personality:
Cheerful, energetic, and upbeat, Keiko is the perfect image of happiness. She is never sad, never complain, and always treat everyone like they are her best friends. For her, WIXOSS is a fun game, and people should ultimately have fun batting it out. Wish-granting, dream-crushing , body-snatching, none of that really matter anymore. She just wanted to have fun fighting a close match.

As a result, Keiko despises dirty tricks and mind games in her battle. It's only fun for her if both combatants gave their all, testing their WIXOSS skill in the ultimate battle for a chance to realize their dreams. If a match isn't fun, then it's not worth winning. Indeed, Keiko had thrown matches in the past, even dooming her Selectors to their third lossess if they decided to use underhanded tactics in her match.

Deep down, Keiko is broken and apathetic. For her, she is ultimately damned the moment she won. It doesn't matter if she become human again, because it won't be her life, it won't be her dream. In the end, battles became her be-all and end-all.

Even so, she has a soft spot for the naive and innocent Selectors. The ones who didn't want any of this, the ones who were lured in by the promises and by their own desperation. To these, she drops a a little more hints that she should, and acts a little more bitchy than she is, in hope that they'll ultimately puzzle it out and throw her away.

History:
She still remembers her wish. She'd wanted to keep living. She realized she didn't want to give up on life just yet. She'd wanted to power through the sickness and cling on to life. In a twisted way, she suppose she was granted exactly just that. She'd lived on as an LRIG, probably immortal for all she care.

It wasn't worth it.

Not at all.

Especially when her first Selector apparently read the tie-in novel (Keiko didn't even know that's a thing) and decided to shove her under fourty dictionaries and forgot about it for six months straight.

Turn out, as a card, you actually can scream for six months straight. Also, turn out human can ignore desperate plead for six months straight.

She didn't entirely came of that sane, so when that finally bitch crawled back to her for help. Keiko had fun leading her on before throwing the match and see her dream twisted. She would had feel bad if it wasn't for that bitch's insistent on underhanded tricks that sucked the fun out of her battle.

After that, Keiko got passed onto another Selector. This one was nice, so she tried, gave her best, fought valiantly. She ultimately failed. She watched, with sorrow this time, as her second Selector's wish got tainted.

And then it keep repeating on and on. She tried and failed. Sometime she didn't even tried at all. In the end, she stopped caring at all and just wanted a good fight every now and then.

Time as an LRIG: 1 years.

Other:
Keiko is extremely serious about fighting fair and will do everything to level the playing field should the Selector decided to play dirty.

Im thinking of maybe adding a bit more to Yoris' sheet, expand a little on aspect of her personality mainly. Not much more for me to actually explain there though.

Also, I see ya Lurking Lili. Sup.
