When a lawyer who reads Worm wakes up to find herself in the body of a hospitalized Taylor Hebert, she decides to not repeat Taylor's mistakes. Except someone tried to kill her twice before she even woke up, she has no idea how she got here, her power is completely different and isn't a power, and she doesn't know what else from the story might have changed or why.

If only bad things would stop happening long enough for her to catch her breath she might make some real progress on answering those questions and saving the world before it ends.
