One thing is for certain, we need to have a massive fortress around the portal because it is our only way back to Russia.

So - as things don't seem to be working on their own again, because I might not have been insistent or clear enough. To progress the turn I need to know what the units under your command are doing and just where you are going to be. Those of you who already put down their orders in spoilers for me, have made it the easiest for me to see just what is going on. Therefor:
@Ceslas @Unlucky Bibliophile @Mina and @Estro for the larger army - what are you going to do and what are your units going to do? If you give me a distinct format to work with, I can update better and easier.

I do not think there is an answer to that. You are right. And we are in a swamp and are not able to change that right now.

Yes, there is. It's called "Dismount your men and separate them into sections for volley fire."

Hmm I wonder if the Airships can see anything resembling a village or something like that, destroying those would help eliminate the problem.
