Alright, what sense do you want enhanced? Taking a enhanced sense makes it so you just have generally better sense, its Jack-of-All vs specialization.

[X] The Pale Surgeon
-[X] Name: Reine Claret
-[X] Description: I suck at describing a person via words... A twenty-nine year old doctor previously with black hair and fair skin, an Asian, until she got inflicted with a mutation that changed her overall looks...

From a simply 5'4" woman to a ~6'-ish tall... person who hasn't seen sunlight at all. Pale skin, ears that aren't totally normal (probably) and the eerie bright red eyes with snake-like retina. Oh, also longer white hair that grew after the whole mutation fully kicked in because why the hell not?! Thankfully she's still warm like a normal person but Skies know what'll happen in the future as her mutation progresses...
-[?] Backstory (Still a WIP, skip for now.):
It was just a normal regular day in an unassuming clinic. It was technically Sunday and the place appears to be close despite the rather ominous weather of dark clouds that seems to bring heavy rain soon, weird that the weather forecast didn't report said happening this morning!, but underneath said 'clinic' lies great activity as the sound of machinery and chatter seems to emenate. People in white clinicals with the whole face mask, eye shields or face shields and the likes as people seem to be tinkering about with small compact objects of various sizes and no doubt various effects along with the appropriate chatter. In certain places there were the security guards with the whole black attired-shebang that seems too similar to a tactical SWAT cosplay, or perhaps they're really hired mercenary guns or the likes...?, keeping watch of the whole secretive operation. In another section of this totally-nothing-strange-here underground facility where the various rooms for application of the said compact objects, known as the CBMs short for Compact Bionic Module as if straight from some-sort of science fiction, are being done to volunteers: well, willing or 'willing' if one catches their drift. It is after all a government backed operation, with some help from some Mega Corporation of sorts that is into healthcare that is now entering a whole new market known as bionics, and here there happens to be one person that this backstory seems to be all about.

"Rise and shine, sunshine! Or as close to sunshine we can get here underground Miss Claret.", a voice of what seemed to be a doctor with, what the hell are those scalpels popping out of his hands that are just being hidden away now?!, a slowly waking patient. Black eyes were revealed underneath and they started to blink along with some groaning as they looked away from the only source of overhead light that is currently too bright for them.

"...w-was the operation successful Doctor Krueger?", the woman known as Reine Claret muttered as she looked around the small operating room. Really, the group handling this operation made them all sign an NDA and then paired them with a buddy. Said buddy is pretty much the same patient, and you to them, of which you'll be installing the CBM they made: in case it wasn't obvious for Doctor Rutherford that was the Autonomous Surgical Scalpels. Thankfully it seemed like it worked and didn't go haywire or the likes and turning her to the swiss cheese equivalent done to meat... which is probably something she'd rather visualize right now as her spine shivered with said image.

"Of course, of course. Still, it sucks that we kinda aren't allowed to use the standard battery slash power source and charging interface as, and I quote: 'You gotta sign up in the Mega Corp if you want such benefits.' Doctor Claret.", Doctor Riley Krueger joked, and said the latter half in irony before helping the woman up. "Still, gotta give it to them and the Government, these CBMs once out in the public market will definitely be sold like pancakes. A big boon for the health industry even though there is the hidden obvious implication that this is probably just another way to strengthen the armies for a future conflict or two. Arms-race-amirite?", the female doctor continued chuckling before patting a spot just above Reine's navel which showed some-sort of obvious metallic skin despite the same coloration attempt to disguise it.

"Well, if said group affronts you with a big downpayment of money that'll set you for life along with guarantee that no, they'll not shove you into a body bag after all this is done, I see no reason why we can't just turn a blind eye if it'll mean saving the people now. Not really worried about the future as I'm more worrying about the present. You do know about my financial issues, and I just managed to pay away the last of my debts just with that one downpayment Doctor Rutherford.", Reine replied back to Riley before sighing and flinching as her stomached groaned ni obvious hunger. "Well, good thing I'm hungry and we can test if this Metabolic Interchange CBM of mine works as intended. Let me get changed first I guess?", a nod as Riley left the small room before Reine changed her obvious patient clothes into something similar to the white clinicals now, a new pair rather than the one before she wore, before leaving the room and being escorted by Riley to one of the mess halls.

Reine was living alone, her parents died of old age, and her siblings were pretty much living their own lives. There wasn't really any time to visit one another and the likes since unlike her they have a big family of their own. Still, it seems like all the lack of excitement prior to this is now being repaid in full and with interest. She and Riley managed to find a spot for themselves in said mess hall, grabbing food and placing it on their tray, did she mention that they serve food here in buffets?, and greeted other acquaintances for this totally-not-a-secret CBM convention slash training the first generation of CBM Surgeons. Small talks between the two before Riley placed a rather big metal ice box atop the table after they sat aside their food trays.

"This is one of the biotic gadgets, if you can even call it that one compared to the whole gizmo or "UNLIMITED POWER!"-thing they're doing in the totally-not-a-weapons-development section down here underground: a rechargeable, by biotic energy!, ice box! Yeah, I know, how simple and quaint.", Riley explained to Reine even if the latter kind of deadpanned with the whole revelation that yes, this is just an ice box, a metal one that happens to be suspiciously -too- sturdy, powered by biotic energies. Shrugging to herself, Reine placed her right hand on the obvious charging port-also-handle and flinched a bit as she felt herself 'whirl' or 'vibrate' as she felt 'something' being pulled out of her, a feeling similar to having their blood taken for CBC or simply blood pack donations really to those who experienced such, without the whole dizzying part: it was still strange and unnerving though for the first time. A soft beep sounded out indicating that said glorified ice box is now powered for... huh, a day's worth.

"...neat. But an ice box isn't really something I expect from the whole into the future kind of development we have here. Might be good to put in beverages or the likes though health wise... well, let's just say people's parts after being thrown into the 'oven' will likely be able to be saved provided it's not a cut-off head or something after the bleeding is taken care off.", Reine said as Riley just shrugged at her as suddenly the lights in the mess hall started to flicker.
And the people at this time didn't know that the ventilation went off...
"What the hell? Is something wrong with the power generators?", one of the doctors, whom Reine happens to not know commented as the lights continued to flicker before a resounding distant sound of the generators just dying echoed through the whole underground complex and with it engulfing the place in darkness. It didn't take long for people to turn on their lights whether from their pens, actual flashlights and in some cases fire coming from some people's fingertips, the Finger Lighter CBMs if she recalls?, and then there were other people cursing when they get flashed to the face with a sudden flaring of light from people that decided that their first CBMs will be of the Cranial Flashlights. Well, at least the mess hall is well lighted for-

The sudden sound of something cracking is heard loudly, like thunder that came down with a bang but more so, causing everyone to flinch as such happenings shouldn't have been heard this far under the ground.

"...What the f-ck? Did that come above the ground?", Riley said before some-sort of commotions started to occur outside the mess hall, voices of panic then followed by actual screams and gunshots?! The totally-not-special-agents that were dining stiffened and made haste towards the source of the sound, guns being unholstered and light attachments being turned on as a sense of foreboding started to simmer in the mess hall as gunshots and screams continued to echo outside.

"...got it. Everyone stay calm and gather around. We're evacuating this place!", one of the 'guards' that were left behind with a some-sort of radio communication CBM installed said to the doctors in the mess hall as everyone including Reine and Riley hastily went over. What happened next as they left the mess hall felt like the start of a horror film as the guards were shooting down something, or some things?, down the darkened hallways with darkness that seem too unnatural with sounds of guttural groaning or roars. As the groups were led away presumably to safety, there were some cries of help or pain as well as crunching sounds in some rooms with Reine having the misfortune to look inside one via a partially opened door just in time to see something looking back at her slowly.

"Reine snap out of it and let's go!", Riley said as she pulled Reine away from the door just in time as the door splintered into pieces as what seemed to be a zombified cyborg came crashing with a roar with the guards shooting it down which seemed to signal the nearby rooms for other similar creatures to come out and pinning some unfortunate people of their group as they quickly bailed in fear of being overwhelmed and passed by lots of destruction: dead bodies whether they be the complex personnels or cyborg zombies (which Reine later found out to originate from the so-called 'weapons development' section... what the hell were they making, some-sort of honest-to-God RE-esque BOW Cyberpunk Edition?!) with the latter being mostly in orange overalls indicating they were likely prisoners, for the death row maybe, and some high-ranking individual explained shakily that they signed, with the appropriate downpayment and benefits in case of death, for actual application of some CBMs that are obviously more than meets the eye aka those under-the-table kind of deals. They ended up taking shelter behind makeshift barricades in a hallway and given some-sort of oxygen respirator...?

"Ventilation's off for some reason, wouldn't want to suffocate down here until we get above ground don't you think?, I don't really understand the principles other than needing biotic energies to power this up. It also serves as some-sort of filter for harmful gases but only to a certain extent.", a fellow doctor told Reine and the rest of her group of similar profession and guards. Some of the people amongst them were given a chance to charge their biotic energies via portable batteries with charging ends, especially to the few people amongst their group with light CBMs and the guards with various installed CBMs that seems to be of more refined than what the group currently has.

"Oh f-ck. Here they come!" "Let's get lock and loaded!-", two of the guards said as groans started to come from the direction where they came from before a bolt of lightning shot out from the dark and hitting the guards that called out along with those unfortunate people that happen to be a few steps away from them as all got electrocuted before slumping down to the ground either dead or just unconscious which isn't a good state to be in with the incoming horde of cybernetic death. The figure in question was revealed for a bit before the darkness shrouded the malevolent being once again as panic seems to settle in for the non-combatants whilst the combatants simply cursed, "Lee! Roy! They're gone! Damn you!", and fired with whatever ballistic weapons or offensive CBMs they have down the corridor as Reine felt Riley starting to pull her away from the obvious battle as it seemed like it'll be a fighting retreat towards the exit leading towards the ground above.

(WIP, again, though overall structure already in place and placing it here as reminder for myself: the group manages to flee above the ground (some of them still being killed off and being 'raised' by the not!Lich/Necromancer because of biotic energy stuff), only to find out it turned into giant creature hellscape with the group being assaulted by giant mosquitoes of all things (some other insects and creatures can be seen from afar but they're being hampered by giant mosquitoes right now). In the fight and flight, some of the people's oxygen respirators broke (or simply didn't work anymore because of running their biotic energies dry) and they started to mutate into creatures that turn on their group (or were against the giant mosquitoes or were drained dry of blood quite literally) with Reine somehow being unfortunate to suffer the same fate (it broke after Riley turned and almost slashed her before being gunned down or being ganked by the giant mosquitoes), causing the group to leave her to 'die' supposedly to giant mosquitoes since nothing can be done with her already starting to mutate, but she mutated into a vampire (she started feeling very cold that dropped her body temperature and the whole turning white literally in complexion and what-not) that somehow lowered her heat temperature making her temporarily 'invisible' from said giant mosquitoes as they changed targets to the group that left her dead who are headed to a FEMA bunker or ended up breaking up as well with some of them headed to a warehouse in the middle of the city (pending since QM might have plans for these two locations? Or not?). Reine managed to sneak away in the chaos, making sure to avoid obvious mutated beings or creatures that can't be explained at all, to be later dubbed as 'Anomalies' like the 'Cyber Lich' to separate them from the 'Mutants' before managing to flee with a group of survivors (PCs!) outside of the city and into a rural area (starting location/map!) and only then did her mutation finally finished mutating her to her current appearance. She doesn't know yet about the whole blood heals her or fills her biotic energy reserves yet. Anyway, going to sleep and probably going to continue this at work via typing at Discord then just slowly transplanting it from there to here... :V)
-[X] PT Allocation (Approved Mutation!)
--[X] Mutation: Vampirism - Reine can consume blood to heal herself or refill her biotic energy reserves. May need to be extra careful of consuming suspected contaminated or 'abnormal' blood in case of sudden backlash. May be able to filter said examples of blood if mutation is improved somehow...
--[X] CBM: Metabolic Interchange CBM - another way for Reine to refill her biotic energy reserves in case blood is not really available: via food, actually calories, to be burnt to refill said energy reserves!
--[X] Skills: Surgeon PT 1, CBM Knowledge PT 1. - She was a regular surgeon before being brought to this Country in confidentiality to learn about CBMs. For better or for worse, with such knowledge now available to her in this calamity, only time will tell what may come out of it...
-[X] IT Allocation

--[X] A Surgeon's Kit - Scalpels, bandages, disposable tissues and the likes. All Reine needs to allow surgery in the field all inside a big briefcase. It's still preferable to do such things in a proper converted room, or place really like a clinic or the OR of a hospital, but when needs must then one cannot be picky about the location... especially if lives are involved.
--[X] A Portable Metal Ice Box...? - A portable metal ice box that Reine carries with her. It seems to be powered by biotic energies to cool its contents, neat!, which is currently filled with... uh, blood bags. Huh. This can also be used to keep biological samples from expiring.

? in Plan/CharGen intended because of pending checks or because I haven't done stuff like the backstory.

.. hope to survive with all of you guys long enough to know more about this world/universe since this seems interesting! Also because Riot. :V

Hmmm… I'll allow it, but there is defiantly going to be some "why the HECK can I drink blood, am I still a human?!" As in universe… mutations have some very interesting backstory, and let's just say it's only AFTER the sky broke that mutations started appearing.

[X] Lin Greenwich (they/them)
-[X] Description: young (~18.5) androgynous person, dark short curly hair, baggy clothes that hide their figure
-[X] Backstory:
As part of their plan to study at a university, Lin applied for an unusual scholarship and got accepted. Instead of receiving monetary support, they had a suit of bionics implanted, intended to help them with their academic career. Being relatively young, Lin lacks in the realm of noteworthy skills at the moment, but they're confident in improving and becoming helpful for this group of survivors. They ended up as part of the group since they'd been on a small hike, trying to get away from the city before they'd have to buckle down and start studying...
-[X] PT allocation: Enhanced Memory Banks, Synaptic Regeneration System, Metabolic Interchange, Recycler Unit
-[X] IT allocation: Digital Reader with textbooks/manuals, solar charger

Alright, so just because it's bothering me, if you get bionics, it's going to be assumed you get a standard bionic Internal Battery and Charging interface, which will be really crappy, but come free with bionics. All bionics need a power source, and lower level power sources mean less CBM use time.

Huh, I didn't know that. I thought it was already built in prior but apparently not huh? Good to know though. I wonder if someone will be going 'caster' build this early with this in mind? Granted the one that I saw in the CBM List that doesn't seem to rely on ammunition(?) is the Chain Lightning and Laser one (though the latter doesn't really have much power, it feels like the accuracy will help a lot.. like targetting weakpoints like the eyes or something).

Can't believe I forgot to put this, but skills come in levels, so all picked skills start at level 1 unless extra PT are assigned to it.
So to get level 1 PT, one PT is needed (duh), to get it to level 2:
a) Just invest another PT point in it to get it from level 1 to level 2?
b) you actually need two PT to invest in it to make it level 2?

..didn't notice the DIscord link, might go there.

-[X] Leaf (Young, They/Them)
-[X] Hard to tell under all that beat-up army surplus.
-[X]
Leaf was kicked out of their middle school for selling drugs. Parents were pissed. Leaf stole the cash out of their Mom's purse, bought a bus ticket to a different city, and has been living on the streets in the years since.
-[X] Athletics 1, Sneak 1, Streetwise 1, Survival 1
-[X] Extra Clothes, Extra Food

-[X] Description: A tall and muscular blond woman with yellow eyes, her skin is colored a Mountbatten Pink and is marred with purple scales
-[X] Backstory: Since young Rose had a passion for food, from cooking to eating, from savory to sugary, she was simple fascinated with it, having spent her life trying to experiment as many foods as possible. It is no surprise that as soon as she was able she became a chef, unfortunately she never managed to actually start her carer the apocalypse hit and she needed to flee to the Ranch, though not before becoming mutated after eating a suspicious floor sandwich while fleeing.
-[X] PT allocation
--[X]Mutation: Sparse Scales - Rose skins has significantly toughened up, unfortunately this come with the side effect that scales have start to grow in parts of her body
--[X]Mutation: Strong Stomach - Rose stomach has become significantly stronger allowing her to eat more things without side effects
--[X]Skill: Food Preparation - Rose has done enough cooking to know the basics about how to quickly and efficiently prepare food.

This is based on a character that I used in a riot quest that sadly never took off. Is this valid, @The Chilly One ?

[X] Kevin Mancini
-[X] A handsome blonde man (age 23)
in a sweater and sweatpants who acts friendly to others while hiding his true intentions behind a smile
-[X] Backstory
: Kevin was a mentally disturbed child who grew up in a abusive and neglectful household. At the age of 8, he was left home alone while his wealthy family left in their van to go on a family vacation. None of them returned alive. About a week after they had left, a gang of burglars attempted to break into Kevin's home to rob the place clean. For reasons unknown, instead of trying to call the police, Kevin assembled a wide variety of booby traps, severely maiming over half of the gang. A passerby overheard the sounds of a child screaming and ran into the house, saving Kevin's life from the rest of his attackers. Stunned by the carnage that a eight year old child had unleashed, the passerby, who was a member of the Mafia, saw great potential in Kevin and adopted him. Now age 23, Kevin has grown up to be a remarkably polite and friendly adult with exceptional engineering skills, but underneath his cheerful facade is someone who enjoys coming up with unique and creative ways to hurt his enemies
-[X] PT Allocation
--[X] Mutation: Fast Healer - Kevin's wounds and broken bones heal faster than normal.
--[X] Mutation: Venomous - Kevin's blood produces a potent venom.
--[X] Skill: Engineering - Kevin is capable of making deadly booby traps.
--[X] Skill: Shooting - Kevin is a remarkable shot when it comes to using firearms.
-[X] IT Allocation
--[X] 20 gauge shotgun
--[X] A machete

Yep good too use, and you have two PT left over, you can pick some other things or upgrade your existing skills.
