"Arch-Provost Cassrya Gabrana," you greet the ruler of Rendili and your new boss.
"Admiral Muss," replies the Arch-Provost of Rendili, "It is a pleasure to have a war veteran of your stature at our service."
"I am glad to be here, ma'am," you answer, "Though I wish I was closer to home."
"Ah yes, Mon Calamari is on the far side of Hutt Space isn't it," says Arch-Provost Gabrana sympathetically.
"Not quite, but close," you correct, "Other end of the Perlemian Trade Route and then halfway down the Overic Griplink. I like to think that they are still holding out as the only real power in that part of the Outer Rim, but I haven't heard anything since we lost the HoloNet in the Rim."
"Hopefully you will be able to return home someday," says Arch-Provost Gabrana, "But today, we look towards ensuring that there will still be a Republic in the future."
"Aye," you agree, "Collapse or no collapse, I have no desire to leave all of my comrades' sacrifices in vain by letting the Sith triumph."
"Excellent," says Arch-Provost Gabrana, "For twenty four thousand years, the Galactic Republic has stood as a beacon of light in the galaxy and Rendili has played a key part in that. Myself and the majority of the planet have no desire to see that come to an end and certainly not without a fight where we give it our all. Do you have any idea how the military is faring?"
"They took it hard," you answer without hesitation and Gabrana grimaces, "Admiral Ersesh will do her best, but so many battles are adding up, especially when more often than not they have ended in defeat. Our troopers and crews will fight on, but our warships are few and those ships that do remain are all damaged. I don't even know how rough the army has it, but I doubt they are in any better shape. The local forces haven't had so many defeats, but they still took a pounding in Darth Vox's attack on Rendili. Even if things aren't so bad for them, they will need to recover and rebuild as well."
"Unfortunate, but around what I was expecting," replies Arch-Provost Gabrana, "I trust you will do your best to turn that around?"
"I could do no less," you answer fiercely, "The Republic and the galaxy is depending on us. We shall not fail now, not when so much has been lost."
"You are exactly the man we need for the job," says the Arch-Provost approvingly, "Speaking of the job, how you are settling in?"
"Fairly well," you reply, "Darth Vox didn't spare much of Rendili in his attack and like everyone else, we have our own share of rebuilding to do. It didn't help that the senior leadership of the Treasury was wiped out. In some respects, it makes it easier for me to fit into the role, but in others…"
"I understand," says Arch-Provost Gabrana, "For the Republic, Admiral."
"For the Republic," you agree.
[] Facility Construction (Phase 1)
As the Rendili expands its operations, it is going to need more space for its administration and military to function out of. Get ahead of the game by acquiring more space for government uses and preparing them for the government organisations to move into as needed.
(0/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+3 Basing)
[] Residential Reconstruction (Phase 1)
Due to the recent Sith attack, vast swathes of Rendili's residential zones have been damaged, rendering people unable to live in their old homes. While the welfare department has done its best to accommodate these newly homeless individuals, there just aren't enough homes for everyone on Rendili right now.
(0/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+1 Political Support) (+3 Housing)
[] Construct Vertical Farms (Phase 1)
While Rendili will never truly be self-sufficient in terms of foodstuff, it can reduce its external reliance by constructing indoor farms within its planet-wide city. Using a mixture of hydroponics, aquaponics, and aeroponics, it should allow for a notable amount of local food production.
(0/100, 5 Resources per Die) (+1 Food)
[] Hospital Reconstruction
During the Sith attack, hospitals, clinics and other sources of medical care were deliberately targeted. The end result is that Rendili currently has something of a healthcare shortage and rebuilding the damaged healthcare facilities would go a long way to resolving this minor crisis.
(0/100, 15 Resources per Die) (+2 Health)
[] Build Civilian Shipping (Phase 1)
Dependent on external food and raw materials to sustain itself, Rendili needs civilian shipping to keep itself alive. With the fighting, the breakdown of galactic society and the collapse of the galactic economy, there is a shortage of trade, trade which is vital to Rendili's continued survival. Constructing freighters at cost for civilian traders to make use of will help relieve this breakdown of interstellar trade.

[] Industrial Reconstruction (Phase 1)
A good number of industrial sites suffered varying degrees of damage during the Sith attack, hindering Rendili's industrial capabilities. Fixing them would help restore Rendili's industry capability to what it was before the attack, something which will be vital for the more long term plans of the Arch-Provost.
(0/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+5 Resources per turn) (+2 Capital Goods)
[] Commercial Reconstruction (Phase 1)
A good number of commercial sites suffered varying degrees of damage during the Sith attack, hindering Rendili's ability to provide commercial goods and services. Fixing them would help restore Rendili's commercial capability to what it was before the attack, something which will greatly improve the quality of life for Rendili's people.

[] Expand Mining Operations (Phase 1)
Everyone needs raw materials so they can make things from basic goods to weapons to starships and Rendili is no exception. While the Rendili is primarily dependent on interstellar trade to supply itself, it can also perform its own state-owned mining operations to acquire raw materials in the local asteroid belt.
(0/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+10 Resources per turn) (-1 Capital Goods, +2 Logistics)
[] Mining Grants
Rendili can conduct its own mining operations, but it would be more efficient to sponsor private mining endeavours by sponsoring local organisations and then buying some of the output at reduced prices.
(+5 Resources per turn)
[] Rendili StarDrive Subsidies
The backbone of Rendili's economy for practically forever, Rendili StarDrive has endured for now and even if it has suffered, it has survived. Giving the megacorp some subsidies would provide it with a much needed boost, one which will leave them in a position to help the Republic in turn.
(-5 Resources per turn) (+3 Political Support) (+1 Logistics per turn, +1 Capital Goods per turn)
[] General Corporation Subsidies
Over the last couple of centuries, the galactic economy has crashed and with it, countless private businesses have gone bankrupt. By offering some government subsidies, you can keep some businesses that provide important civilian services afloat even when they don't turn a profit.
(-5 Resources per turn) (+1 Trade per turn, +1 Consumer Goods per turn)
[] Republic Remnants
Rendili isn't the only prominent world that still considers itself to still be part of the Republic. There is still a Supreme Chancellor and Galactic Senate on Coruscant and Rendili's historical rivals of Corellia and Kuat still resist the Sith. Anaxes is still the Defender of the Core and Alderaan continues to live up to her status as the Soul of the Republic. Reach one to one of the other major Republic Remnants so see where you stand with them.

[] Local Sector
While Rendili is the most well-off and most important world in the Rendili Sector, it is far from the only one. Both the Corellian Run and the Hydian Way go through the Rendili Sector and there are plenty of lesser worlds within the Rendili Sector that can be found both on those two super-hyperlanes and off them.
(0/100, 5 Resources per Die) (+1 Trade)
[] Additional Medical Training
With the war reaching Rendili and the rest of the Core Worlds, medical attention will become more important than ever. Fund additional healthcare training courses to improve the degree and amount of medical care that Rendili is capable of providing.
(0/120, 15 Resources per Die) (+3 Health)
[] Expanded Welfare Programs
While Rendili has escaped the worst of it, Rendili has not escaped the suffering that is engulfing the galaxy. Increased funding to the local welfare systems should help look after the most unfortunate.
(0/80, 10 Resources per Die) (-1 Basing, -1 Housing, -1 Food, +1 Logistics, +1 Health)
[] Technical Education Programs
Pushing a series of education programs could help free up some more hardware. By teaching the average worker how to better care for and maintain their machinery and electronics, it should reduce the number of replacement equipment and parts required, freeing them up for use elsewhere.
(0/150, 10 Resources per Die) (+1 Capital Goods)
[] Republic Army Review
While Rendili only supports a small part of the Republic Armies, the government has no idea what shape it is in. After countless battles with the most recent being the latest Sith attack on Rendili, it will take time and effort to assess just how badly battered Rendili's fragment of the Republic Armies is.
(DC40)
[] Republic Navy Review
While Rendili only supports a small part of the Republic Navy, the government has no idea what shape it is in. After countless battles with the most recent being the latest Sith attack on Rendili, it will take time and effort to assess just how badly battered Rendili's fragment of the Republic Navy is.
(DC40)
[] Rendili Home Fleet Review
The Rendili Home Fleet is responsible for the protection of Rendili and it is maintained solely by the Rendili planetary government. Having taken a beating during the Sith attack, it is time to properly assess the Rendili Home Fleet and determine just what sort of shape it is currently in.
(DC30)
[] Rendili Planetary Militia Review
The Rendili Planetary Militia is responsible for the protection of Rendili and it is maintained solely by the Rendili planetary government. Having taken a beating during the Sith attack, it is time to properly assess the Rendili Planetary Militia and determine just what sort of shape it is currently in.

Republic Army
[] Basic Army Restock
You don't know what state Republic Army forces are in, but they will need more blasters, more armour and all of the other basic equipment. You don't know how much they need or how much it will cost in total, but it is something that can be done to improve the military capabilities of the Republic Army.

Republic Navy
[] Build
Valour-class Cruiser Republic Shipyards (Phase 1)
With the Sith attack crippling Rendili's shipbuilding, there is a shortage of intact shipyards with the vast majority of the remaining being used for repair work and maintenance. The
Valour-class Cruiser is an ancient, but reliable design and currently the best capital ship that Rendili can build.

[] Build
Hammerhead-class Cruiser Republic Shipyards (Phase 1)
With the Sith attack crippling Rendili's shipbuilding, there is a shortage of intact shipyards with the vast majority of the remaining being used for repair work and maintenance. The
Hammerhead-class Cruiser is the iconic warship of the Republic Navy, having been used as its primary workhorse and that is the case for good reason
(0/90, 15 Resources per Die) (+5 Political Support) (-1 Capital Goods)
[] Construct
Aurek-class Tactical Starfighter Republic Factories (Phase 1)
The
Aurek-class Tactical Starfighter is Rendili's finest starfighter and it has seen continuous use by the Republic Navy for three thousand years for good reason. While it may be expensive, it is a whole league above what the Sith prefer to use and something that the Republic Navy will need.

[] Treasury Reorganisation
Between the recent attack, the Rendili Treasury isn't in good shape. It could be worse and it is still functional, but it could be operating better. Take the time to reorganise the treasury so it is able to work better with you at its head.
(0/120, 5 Resources per Die) (-3 Political Support) (+1 to All Dice)
[] Strategic Planning
While the current situation is acceptable it could be better, especially if you want to start making long term plans instead of just reacting to the latest issues. By setting up a department to properly track your various projects, you can predict the future costs of each project to some degree.
(0/200, 5 Resources per Die) (+1 to All Dice) (-1 Basing, -3 Capital Goods)
[] Recruitment Drives
The Republic has suffered greatly over the last several centuries and is, but a shadow of its former self. Yet there are still capable individuals and organisations out there and if you could bring those into the fold of the Rendili Treasury, the treasury will benefit as will Rendili and what is left of the Republic.
(DC30/50/70/90)
[] Security Review (Select Department)
It is a fact of life that the Sith, various criminals and other entities will attempt to infiltrate or otherwise corrupt your portion of the government. Review one of your departments to see if you can sniff out any spies or corruption within your ranks.

***
First turn of this quest and unlike in my previous planquest, you will need to care about your budget as you don't have any Sith bosses to shell credits for you.
A few things to be aware of. For War Focus, you not only have to spend all of your Military Dice, but you must also spend all of your Free Dice. If they aren't already being spent on something else, all Free Dice must be spent in the Military category. So your Political Factions will increase in number as you expand beyond merely being Rendili and the number of Republic Remnants will go down as they either get conquered or unite with another remnant under the same banner.
Please point out any spelling or grammar mistakes that you spot. Please quote them in the thread and explain what you think is wrong so I know what you are referring to. Feel free to ask questions for more details and information.
