First make a mound, with say clay buildup and then carve the opening with something like dam standard or slash3.
like you would do it with live clay, first build up then cut away to define the planes.
 
Do you take commissions at present, @Renu? Forgive me if you've answered this elsewhere, I don't see it.

Eh, PM me what you want, I'll see how long it'd take me (and thus how much it'd cost you) and then we'll see if it works or if we need to change things up.

Useful points for me would be:

- Is it line art? Grayscale? Colour?
- One character? Several characters? With background? Only a background?
- What style do you want it in? (you can either link one of my pics here or if you want me to imitate someone else's style link that (though you'd better ask that someone else in that case))

And of course, what's happening in the pic.

Oh, and when you need it too.

I'd say around one hour, probably a bit more than that. The line's not that clean and there aren't many details so it goes pretty fast.

Also, good choice taking best girl as your avatar.

And yeah, I got the CD, which is why I decided to draw some AnoNena. Nena is such a smooth operator. The other CDs are not as good though imo...

Only one hour, huh. I'm kinda jelaous. It would take me a lot longer and I doubt it would be as good. Well, I should probably get around to drawing more often, if I want to get better at it.

Another Aki fan. I was actually surprised how much I ended up liking AkixYouka. I personally liked the other CDs as well, but I guess it's just personal preference. The first CD is probably more concentrated than the others, if that makes sense. (Well and the third one is ten minutes shorter.)

Well, do note that I'm an art student and that I plan in making that my job, so... I don't know what you do in life but you probably do it better that me =P

And yeah, same here. Youka was kind of annoying at first but she's surprisingly good when she's thinking about her feelings. And Aki simply is best. Her slightly trollish/playful side ("nyan") compared to her usually stern behaviour just makes me d'aww.

Nah, I get that. I should just practice some more, before I regress to drawing stick figures :V

Anyway, I didn't expect to find a fellow Kindred Spirits fan here and then even one drawing fanart.
 
Just a little heads up. I'll stream me arting at around 4PM CET this sunday. I'll post the link when it starts, so... yeah, come around at this time if you're like me and have nothing better to do on your w-e.

I'll probably draw some BAHSCQ stuff so you can come and say "hey, that's wrong/not how I saw it" and I can be "hey, I don't carereally? Well, I'll take it under consideration".

It'll be fun.

Well, it's quite simple: I just came back from two weeks of vacation with lots and lots of going on planes and trains and stuff to move and so I'm kind of sleep deprived.

Now, for the long version:

I was reading genshiken and there was a reference to THREE TIMES FASTER.

Char's gaku is red.

And I was like "mh... what other thing that's red is faster?"

And then I was "ah, right, 'da red one is fastah'."

And here we are.

Here, have a Hakase doodle if you want something not what-the-fuck-esque
