I was taking a conservative approach, I know some of those characters but not enough to know the general bar that was being set. I get that setting an exact bar is impossible, not a criticism. But when I have an inexact bar, I tend to have the principle of "undershooting" rather than "overshooting". In many respects this does result in massive undershooting, but I can adapt to that.

Like, part of it stems from my personal RPing experience, I think; in most similar sorts of RPs, things that involved potential body manipulation of other parties and or mental degradation- in a sense- were the kinds of things GMs really didn't like. So when you responded and I reminded myself of her full potential skillset I instinctively got doubts, even though that wasn't your intent I spose. It was kinda engrained.

But like, assuming the rest of my sheet is fine, if Medusa's k that's cool since I'd love to play with those toys, and if Medusa isn't k, that's cool too because I can run with being (most probably) temporarily situational and relatively low-power.

Medusa's fine. If I find out during the IC that she isn't k, we'll make do. There's a lot about this setting's metaphysics that I have to explain, and something like this is a good time to introduce what.
 
So I'm just quickly going to explain the current soul powers quick in case anyone has questions.

1) Hayden Tenno:
- Congenital Analgesia: Does feel pain, only reacts mechanically to initial wounds but ignores sensations afterward.
- Technocyte: Mutagenic virus that transforms affected bodies into organic metal. Produces The Glaive (Can carry electrical and other elemental discharges for approximately one minute.)
-Glaive flight direction and manipulation: The glaive can be directed according to the will of the user before it boomerangs back to Technocyte hand. It will always return to that hand.
2) Lamont Cranston (The Shadow)
-Telepathy
-Telekinesis
- Invisibility (Save for his shadow which will always appear)
- Hypnotism (Alters targets perception of physical objects example turning and 5 story high window into an emergency exit door)
3) Richard "Dick" Dirkin
- Police Investigative Skill and Prowess
-Occult Knowledge: Can't actually act on it but is aware of a great many runic symbols and what they represent.
-Marksmanship

    He was Captain of the Blood Ravens Honor Guard (and as of DoW3, he's a Chaplain). Known as the "greatest warrior in the Blood Ravens" and is reflected in the games, being the Protagonist of Dawn of War II: Retribution. Fully upgraded, he's a murdermachine who can turn mobs of enemies into gore and is one of the 'killiest' of them all, outclassed only the Chaos protag, Eliphas the Inheritor.

    Hmmm. . . would you say he's more powerful than the examples given in the OP?
     
    Currently, the next Past Life you will get is for any CR up to CR 30.
    If you imagine this RP as a video game, you have to beat the Stage Boss before getting it though.
