Okay, I was just wondering. And in the era of the quest it makes sense that we would want land concessions on top of trade concessions.

Honestly, if we are coming of age, we are definitely going to want to consider marriage options. Marrying once we come of age or, depending on potential bride, a few years later is best. We would want heirs and spares before that point. It wouldn't surprise me if England, some of the more minor German principalities, and elsewhere have sent offers or feelers for offers and Niccolo has kept that away from Luciano as best he ccan. Wouldn't surprise me of Vladislaus II of Hungary had offered his daughter Anne, who in OTL married the HRE. She is only 3 years younger than Luciano after all.

By the way is there a map of the Kingdom of Italy?
I tried to make one, but failed. So there will not be one.

Well here is the thing.

Until the Suez Canal is made, Eastern Trade goes through them.

The Cape can only provide so much trade siphoning away from The Ottoman.

Being able to act as the middleman?

Money.

That would depend on the interests of other nations.

And we've changed the calculus on that.

So 4 more turns and them we will be showered with request to marry us, i do see the British dropping every single noble woman of age and hope to get some shits for their navy too

Oh no, we can still make marriage proposals now, but Luciano will be coming of age in 4 turns.

Can they even grant that? Unless Suleiman already conquered it (which was a slog and a half in OTL, so I doubt that) Rhodes should still be under the Rule of the Knights Hospitaler.
They haven't... technically.

But it is technically a state they have blockaded before we fucked things up for years, and has been completely cut off from the rest of the world.

It also makes things interesting because of the Pope.

So therefore they would just give up claims to and avoid attempting to conquer it instead? More of a 15 as opposed to 20? Still, seems worthwhile, and being able to leave their island and celebrate in Rome seems like a worthwhile reward for recognizing Luciano's sovereignty?

@Tabascoheath could you add some trade concessions to the treaty to salve some of the wounds the Ottomans will have? It should also lower our DC, given that it is some concession.
The DC is only 30. Not exactly that hard to sell. Plus, as the QM has pointed out, we are negotiating with the Ottomans after completely wrecking their fleet in the space of about half a year, so us giving them anything would take more than a little creativity to justify.

The World Rumor mill: 1513 AD
The World Rumor mill: 1513 AD

The Barbary coast:D100 => 57

The Pirate Revolts were put down, and there was nothing more than fear from the Italian Navy. There is nothing for them that they could do.

They could only hope and Change. Change in the similar fact, of their targets.

Reward: The Pirates have understood that something is wrong, and things are going wrong.
--------------------------------------------------

England:D100 => 96+D100 => 49=145
Scotland:D100 => 1

The English Crown Sensed Weakness in their Northern Neighbor. Henry VIII pressed his rightful claim on the Scottish throne for that of his kinsmen.

But instead was crowned himself.

The Nobles want new blood and a powerful monarch that would serve their interests. Or rather, ignore them while he fights on the continent.

It is a blatant Lie, but there is nothing that they can do. The Scottish crown is weak, and the Clansmen welcome the new ruler with open arms, despite their fear of potential retaliation, there was none.

This new King was something that could be… interesting.

Reward: Welcome to the Scottish Throne, Henry.

Try not to lose it.
---------------------------------------------------------------

France:D100 => 97+D100 => 84=181

But on the Continent, France had gained a new fighting force under a new General, and their foreign policy mistakes were corrected, after a decisive and devastating war across Burgundy, and the Holy Roman Empire.

Astor Auclair, the engineer behind it, won praise, before promptly retiring, and joining a mercenary company on its way to Russia. There was gold to be had to fight for the Russians and Polish.

Much gold.

Reward: France devastated the HRE, and took territory and tribute.

Astor Auclair has joined the Order of Solutions and joined them fighting in Eastern Europe.
------------------------------------------------

Spain:D100 => 56

The Spanish Crown still continues the Hunt for the Wayward Prince.
---------------------------------------------------------

Charles:D100 => 93+D100 => 26=119
Spanish America:D100 => 84

To Charles, all he saw was an opportunity to spread the Gospel, and he had been successful in converting vast swaths of the newly conquered territory to christ, seeing the Golden Prince as nothing short of a god, who followed another.

But Charles did not allow the entity to power to blind him to the devastating diseases of the old world. Decimating a new and prosperous population that was under the Spanish crown. While devastating, he viewed it as a horrible side effect of his rule and sent letters for healers and doctors to be sent across the Ocean, to help prevent the outbreak.

While it has not begun to see the wealth return to Spain, it has seen significant improvements to the quality of life for all who are there, as Native cultivation of crops is assisted by Spanish tools. And while disease is ravaging the entire continent, they are being helped.

And instead of forced slave labor, the natives are, for the most part, being left alone. Though many continue to their old tribal ways. Some have moved into the new Spanish colonies, and become true Spanish subjects

Reward: Charles is truly trying to build an empire in the New World, and instead of extracting resources, he is instead using them to build a nation.

Many of the members of the Spanish conquistadors are on leash, and not unleashing the Spanish zeal for god, gold, and land onto the Spanish main yet.

There is also the building of thriving, self-sufficient settlements.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jon Charles Severin and his Order of Solutions: D100 => 89

Jon Charles looked at Astor Aunclair and realized that he had met a fellow kindred spirit.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Austria and the HRE:D100 => 66

The Emperor is poised to begin another campaign against the Ottomans, but now they are early off their borders.

They fear the Italian State, more than the empire that had nearly destroyed them.
-----------------------------------

Poland:D100 => 16
Russia:D100 => 26

Poland and Russia are at war with each other, and mercenaries are flocking to the possibility of Gold and Glory.
