I'd imagine particularly devoted work as players, such as strong omake, or fanart.I swear I would discuss more but I have no idea where to start. ^_^; I guess we can discuss the cookies for now. How will they be able to be obtained? We saw one example so far, anything else people can think of that will lead to the gaining of cookies?
Oh. Well I guess that gives me motivation to draw again.I'd imagine particularly devoted work as players, such as strong omake, or fanart.
This and particularly inspired Write In options that get me thinking.I'd imagine particularly devoted work as players, such as strong omake, or fanart.
Cultivation's Divine Protection -> Ideal of the Radiants -> Stormrunner's Second and Third Idea:I will, however, make a special cookie offer here: 2 Cookies and 1 Seal will grant an ability based on Jessica's [Demigod of Cultivation's Divine Protection]. If you can guess what ability you'll end up getting, you get a cookie that you can either save or put towards this bonus immediately.
Actually Honor provided the abilities of the Radiants, not Cultivation. Cultivation has a hand in the Old Magic of Roshar and a part to play with the more nature driven spren, but it is Honor, even splintered by Odium, that provides the power to the Radiants.Cultivation's Divine Protection -> Ideal of the Radiants -> Stormrunner's Second and Third Idea:
-I will protect those who cannot protect themselves.
-I will protect even those I hate, so long as it is right.
Granting the ability to become a Stormrunner Squire, and thus a lesser version of the Three Lashings?
why do you want to raise nerve? nerve is magical resistance and nothing else.

Nerve: A measure of resistance. Magical defense, luck, and presence are all a part of the Nerve Stat.

It has an effect on your presence, which supplements charisma, and luck. Both of which are useful. Magical resistance isn't all that important early on, but will be somewhat important later on, especially as a mage. We're going outside with the opportunity to make some deals and roll some random encounters. Better Nerve helps there.
That's pretty good for how it could be focused but not so much on what the ability granted to you is. You are, however, on the right track.I would like to make some guesses here about Jessica's ability. Edro said the power of cultivation is just cultivation. I know that cultivation can have to do with gaining of developing skills. So maybe this power has something to do with making it easier or more efficient in some way to improve skills and abilities? Could explain how a mage that is pretty new to these things could make a homunculous so well. Or if it has to do with the type of cultivation that refers to raising plants and similar things, it could be an ability that attunes her to such things. A few ways that could come into play, especially with what she made us out of after all. Just some ideas, maybe it'll help us work this out.
is this cultivation related to the "human science" of the same name from The Water Phoenix KingA shorter update than normal, but we're still early on so not much is happening. I will say that there is not a reference above, even though I tried to add one, it was just too clunky and obvious. So no cookies available this time for the references. I will, however, make a special cookie offer here: 2 Cookies and 1 Seal will grant an ability based on Jessica's [Demigod of Cultivation's Divine Protection]. No, too generic. This is something a bit more specific than a general bonus to an existing ability. It is a separate ability, after all.Would Cultivation increase the gains we see when we barter for skills/attributes with Goblin Market?
I have never seen this before and thus have no idea what you mean.is this cultivation related to the "human science" of the same name from The Water Phoenix King

That's... very clever. But not what I'm going for here. I'm tempted to give a cookie anyway because this is rather creative.Hmmm... Wild guessing commences!
It allows us to establish a sympathetic link with a plant or an entire garden. So long as we tend to the plant or garden and it prospers, so to does whatever we linked it to. So if we have plant a tree and link it with, say, a noble family, then so long as we tended the tree the noble family would prosper and grow as it does. If we linked ourselves to a garden, we'd receive bonus to our growth so long as we attended the garden. Certain parts of the garden might even correlate to specific parts of our being, like a bed of roses representing our charm or an oak tree representing our lifespan. The bad part is that once the link is established, harm to the garden also harms the thing it is linked to. Of course, that could be used for gain. Linking a quick-dying plant to an enemy, tend it and then watch it wither to curse the enemy.

There will be other homunculi.I also like this a lot. So interesting. ^_^ Wonder if we can ever try doing that later?
